Very friendly and resourceful staff. The restaurant serves excellent local and western food. I always come back here when I am in Jagna.

One night stay prior to ferry”

Lovely, quiet and clean place. Friendly, courteous staff who spoke excellent English. Good value for money. Run by a charity who employ and provide education for deaf people.

OK room, expensive food”

Our room was OK, without window, clean, TV not working but was OK. The food at the restaurant is very expensive for what you get. Another thing I didn´t like was that our room was next to the restaurant and at 7.30 the played music and some of the workers started singing around so they woke up us.

A good idea to stop at the Idea”

situated close to the centre of Jagna and a short ride in a tricycle from the seaport the Idea pension house is a good cheap small hotel to stay at, the food was quite acceptable, the room was a little basic buit very clean and the staff were very friendly

Good for an overstay”

I stayed there just for an overstay to catch the ferry to camiguin at the next day. It was very clean and the staff was friendly.

Travellers inn”

Idean Pension house is not hotel but like travellers inn or lodging house. Small simple rooms. Shower not good, no shampoo, no hot water. Breakfast decent. Mostly Filipino but also International dishes.

I find this hotel basic but clean and unpretentious. The staff are helpful and friendly. Excellent choices of food in the menu. Staying in this hotel is the best value for money and would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit.

Inexpensive, friendly, good cause--not well-run”

i had booked the Family Room as it was still so cheap i thought i might as well have extra space--and extra towels and extra breakfast and extra amenities -- for a minimal increase in price. unfortunately it didn't work that way. there was no safety box in the first family room. in the second family room the 'safety box' wasn't bolted in and i easily lifted it and carried it to the front desk in demonstration of its pointlessness. they had to demote me to a deluxe room to get the in-room safe they'd promised--but that was a room wherein you had to stand on a flimsy resin chair to reach the a/c controls. no thank you. the fourth room they moved me to was acceptable--despite the cramped space and the 21" tv in lieu of the 42" in the "family" room--until i tried to flush the toilet. it didn't work. some 2-3 hours after i "checked-in", maintenance done and their mess "cleaned up", i had an inhabitable room. although the double bed was two single mattresses shoved together on a platform--not unique in budget hotels, but still uncomfortable; and the shower pressure barely surpassed a trickle. i was promised a refund of the difference (between Family and Deluxe rooms) but upon check out i was told it takes a month to pay them, so they would mail me the "difference" a month from now. i had little hope--or desire-- to be sent in a month, so i pointed to the tip box at the reception counter and in view of half the staff said to the manager "get the refund and put it in this box". maybe the staff can get better service from management than i could.
