The room I booked was a single but they put me in one with a double bed. The problem was that the walls were damp with blistered plaster and stains. I complained at reception and they moved me to a twin room which was very satisfactory. The breakfast could have been better but all in all it was a pretty good stay. Next time I would probably book in a different area and not city proper.

Easy Access to Almost Everything”
Iloilo Midtown hotel is located within the downtown area. Very close to SM (old one) and few minutes to the new SM City (nice and big). One thing I like with this establishment is that they offer free breakfast (the restaurant also serves delicious foods),service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. I feel very safe in this hotel when I am resting in my room. The hotel is so convenient when taking the ferry to Bacolod City. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

It was our first time to stay in Iloilo Midtown Hotel. It was a wonderful experience for both of us. WE had to do some last minute Christmas shopping and the hotel is very near city proper where we bought lots of stuffs at affordable prices. We like the hotel, especially its location and customer service.

Wonderful hotel with super staff”
This was my second stay at the Midtown. The room was spacious, clean, and staff was absolutely great. The hotel supplies a free breakfast, which was tasty, and the evening menu had some really excellent cuisine at very reasonable prices. The second floor ballroom was most elegant. The hotel is also within walking distance of two major shopping malls, SM Delgado and Robinson's Place, and about a block from the Iloilo River. I feel that the room rates for the Midtown are very reasonable, and an excellent value. I will defintiely stay there again.

Well-kept, Good Location”
The Iloilo Midtown Hotel is close to both the wharf and the main road so the location alone makes it worth the price. The room is also clean and has most of the basic amenities (like towel, cable TV, slippers, etc.) Free breakfast is also provided. If you're planning to leave your things with them after check-out, they can keep it up to 2:00 PM. Overall, it was a very comfortable and convenient stay.

Better than my last stay, value for money”
This is the second time I stayed in Iloilo Midtown Hotel and my experience is better this time around, not that the first one was bad. My room was more compact but has a better lay out than the double room I had before. The bed was firm, which suit me perfectly. It was a little too close to the AC unit which ended up blowing cold air at my legs all night. Bathroom was good, basic. Toiletries provided reminded me of motels(a very small bar of soap and a packet of shampoo). The hotel has a great restaurant in the lobby. Try some of their comida (set meals), which you can ask to be delivered to your room, for an additional charge. There are also several restaurants within a block or two that serve the famous local food. The room comes with free breakfast, which consists of a fried egg and a choice of dried fish, hotdog or corned beef. Very basic stuff.

the staff at the midtown hotel have been a fantastic.i cannotsayenough of their kindness and on ern for our well being.my husbanddevelopedaan infectionduoringur travels. by the time we reached iloilo, the infection was vey serious and we went to emergency. although we were to stay onlyonenightwestayed 3 and we arereturningfor1more night afro a follow-up visit with do tor. the staff wentoutoftheirway to be accommodating and helpful,evensendingupflasksofhot water. their efforts were very much appreciated.

Our stay was perfect. The hotel is located in the centre of Iloilo city near shopping centres and places to eat. It has easy access to public transport and taxis are plenty, it is also near the Capitol. The hotel lobby is small but the room is large and very clean and comfortable. The Free wireless internet connection is faster than most in the Philippines.The staff is very friendly and good n English, room service is fast. Choices on the included breakfast is limited but is delicious. Food on lunch or dinner is excellent. There are occasional power interruptions in Iloilo but the hotel has back-up power source, so all is good.

I have stayed at Iloilo Midtown Hotel for three days. I've not encountered any problem. Very convenient to the commercial areas and transport terminals. Walking distances to restaurants / food establishments / banks / SM Delgado. The amenities are not bad. The lobby area is not so big but with very friendly and attentive receptionist. The room was cleaned, big and cozy, had cable tv, fast wifi access, hot and cold shower. Overall the hotel is recommendable for moderately priced amenities.

A very good well located hotel ”
We were very satisfied with the Iloilo Mid Town Hotel. The front desk staff were particularly helpful when my partner required medical attention. They contacted the local hospital and made an appointment for my partner to see a doctor. They also organised a taxi to take us to the hospital and we were seen in less than 45 minutes from leaving the hotel. This level of customer service was certainly appreciated and if we visit Iloilo in the future we'll be more than happy to stay there again. We had most of our meals in the cafe although we could have used the restuarant on the mezzanine. Service was attentive, servings generous and very reasonably priced. All in all, a good find.

my stay at iloilo midtown hotel is great, except that they have a limited number of food choices from their menu..staff are friendly and accomodating as far as hotel services is concerned. one thing that i am puzzled about is that most of the hotel staff are not familiar on popular tourist spots. think the hotel management should re orient their staff so that when a traveler comes, they will be helpful in terms of directions and places where to go...thank you midtown, will definitely comeback for dinagyang festival
