This is my second time staying in this guesthouse and I just think it is the best in Ishigaki. The best location, very clean and fresh, nice atmosphere and very good staff. I will definitely comeback to this place in my next trip to Ishigaki.

I had an amazing time in Guesthouse HIVE, people in there was awesome! Shingo took us to different snorkelling spot were the coral reef looks beautiful. He guided us through ishigaki and advice us for another islands. Even we ended up at a party in the beach! So much fun. Thank you all the staff in the guesthouse, all of them were so nice!!!😃 I will definitely go back

The Best hostel in ishigaki!”
It’s nice and cool place to meet new people or local. The hostel is clean and fresh, all room are super comfy and relax, and the kitchen is open and wide. The hostel acess is a bit confuse but there is a little sign showing the direction. So don’t worry about it. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, if you have any questions just ask to them.

Super cute and great location”
I was staying a night either side of catching the ferry out to the islands and Hive was perfect. Super close to the ferry port and bus station from the airport. The little bunk pods and very spacious and comfortable. Great area, in amongst restaurants and bars. Hostel was very clean. Would 100% recommend to stay here A little hard to find as googlemaps takes you to the wrong location but there is signs on the road.

This place is awesome. The temperature was great for sleeping (nice and cold in the hot humid weather). Awesome food nearby. You MUST get some agedashi tofu at every place you go in ishigaki. OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD

Exceptional”
- very good location, close to bus and ferry terminal - clean - I really like the design of this hostel. Everyone gets their personal space inside the capsule bed. They even have the little table inside. - The only thing that can be improved is the room temperature. Sometimes it’s very hot inside, and I later found out that they only had one air conditioner on and it’s on 27 degrees whereas the outdoor temperature is 26 degrees lol. Seriously it’s hotter than outside and I kept sweating. It’s even hotter inside the capsule. - too many staircases to climb so it’s better not to carry a suitcase - overall it’s great to stay here. Would stay here again if I visit Ishigaki in the future.

We change the temperature depending on the weather conditions as it really changes so quickly and try to make it comfortable. I had a great time at Guesthouse HIVE. The staff was very friendly, there was a good atmosphere in the hostel and always people to talk to. The location is perfect as well, very close to the port and the city centre.

great location, near to port, bus stop and conbini. The beds are comfortable although the „curtain“ every bed has doesn‘t close really well. So in the morning, if you are not woken up by some loudly speaking or nearly screaming ignorants, you would wake up because of the light which is turned on quite early in the morning and brightens up the entire hostel (unless you have a sleeping mask :P). The hostel itself is new and as the name says it kind a looks like a hive. The sleeping room is not really separated from the entrance and to use the bathroom or the common room you need to cross the „dormitory“. If I should mention one thing that could be improved I would say to find a solution to better separate the dormitory from the rest of the hostel. Free lockers are available as well as a coin-laundry and -dryer.

Great location and staff! ”
We weathered out a typhoon during our stay at this hostel and the staff were nothing but lovely! They even hosted a takoyaki night which was great as we weren't able to go out and get food in the storm. The cabins are big enough for you and your things, the showers were clean and good and it was great to have access to a washing machine. The main light did stay on but you do have a blind, also the fact that you walk right into the dorm from the main door meant it could get a little noisy (but you are given earplugs). Overall, great facilities and location (5 mins walk to the bus and port terminals, restaurants and bars) and great staff!

清潔”
石垣島のドミトリーを数多く宿泊しました。ここは、最も、バス、トイレを含み大変清潔で、施設が明るく快適でした。ハイブさんのようにウォシュレットがあるドミトリーは、石垣島に少なかった。加えて、スタッフさんのさりげなく暖かいフレンドリーさが、まるでだんだんと第２のホームのような感覚にさせられました。ドミトリーで音漏れはするので、寝付きが遅い方は耳栓はお忘れなく（笑）次回泊まるときは、第一に予約しますね。大変お世話になりました。

立地最高！清潔感有るゲストハウス”
石垣島まつりBIGINライブが行われる公園の近くで宿を探してたらHIVEさんを見つけました。空港に着いたのが夕方で離島バスターミナルから歩いて５分位です。他の方の口コミに有る場所が分かりづらいとの事ですが問題無く辿り着来ました。階段上がり３階が入口なので大きなスーツケースの場合、スタッフに連絡すれば運んでくれると思います。僕はバックパッカーで問題有りませんでした。 ゲストハウス内は清潔感有り、周りに飲食店も多く有る乗り場で便利な立地でお勧めのゲストハウスです。

ハウス内はとても清潔で対応もよくセキュリティーも良いので快適です 荷物が大きかったので 雑居ビルによくある細い階段で困りましたが 電話すればスタッフが荷物を助けてくれるようです。チェックアウトのときは助けてもらいました。
