The Best Staff I've ever Met”
I'd been to many places here and other countries in Asia but the experience we had with Island Tiki Paradise Result was simply one of the best. When we book resort and go to places, few things we take inconsideration first are, the price and the facilities. But our experience with this resort surpasses not only those but our overall expectation. I think they have the Best staff we've ever met. From the owner down to his workers, their hospitality and generosity was incomparable. We were treated not as guests but we feel like we were old friends. I can't describe enough but I suggest you try so you know what I mean. They have the best staff I've ever met.

Great place, great staff, absolutely flawless”
We stayed at the French Kiss for eleven days and we could not possibly make a better choice. The place is an amazing oasis of tranquility. Nipa houses are spacious, clean, simply, but nicely furnished. You will love evenings at the terrace with a book, listening to birdsongs after a swim in the pool! The whole place is very well looked after by the staff for whom it is, undoubtedly, a labour of love. The staff was very friendly, helpful and treated us as though we were a part of the family. The food in the restaurant was brilliant, made of fresh fruit and veggies. The resort is located in a walking distance from San Isidro beach. We would, however, recommend going to Dumaluan beach, which is not far away. The resort is very close to one of the Panglao's main roads, hence a perfect starting place for trips around Bohol. The staff was always happy to drive us around or, alternatively, arrange for someone who would do so. That included a boat man who took us for a day trip around the surroundings island ( Balicasag, Pamilacan, Virgin island) If you look for a neat, quite and nice place in nature with a family-like treatment, the French Kiss should be an obvious choice. We had an unforgettable time here and would not think twice to come back. We strongly recommend the place! Things to do around: Snorkelling, whale an dolphin watching at Balicasag and Pamilacan Islands. Loboc river cruise, Philippine Tarsier Foundation, Chocolate hills and many sandy beaches

Awesome stay at this resort due to wonderful staff”
We had a short stay at this hotel but we totally would recommend staying here. The staff are welcoming and polite. They will always ensure your convenience. The dinner selection is many. Pizza we ordered was surprisingly good. Rooms are quite spacious considering the price point. If you want to stay in a quiet place, this is the best place as compared the resorts near Alona Beach. Downside is, it is not located near the beach or airport. This is compensated by the free transpo they provide to the airport. We also rented motorbikes at the resort to go around Panglao Island.

A Secret Piece of Heaven”
The French Kiss Asia Resort was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had.If I could rate them higher than excellent then I would. John and his wife (the Managers) were the kindest people I’ve met as far as hotel management goes; and some of the nicest people have met in my life. It was a blessing for my girlfriend and me to stay at French Kiss Asia Resort. The French Kiss Asia Resort provides clean tidy organized, secure and efficient private housing. The swimming pool, surrounding garden/natural environment is clean soothing and will easy your mind of all your stress. The food served at the restaurant is excellent; it’s cooked prompt and precise. The common areas are wonderfully comfortable areas filled with a warm family ambiance. I'll never forget John for his kindness, honesty, and caring nature. He really made us feel like we were visiting an old friend or a close family member. When John spoke to us you could feel that he was speaking with the purest intentions; he didn't want anything but to help us enjoy Bohol. We enjoyed our time with John and his family so much we just wanted to hang out with them, and invite them to tour Bohol with us. The family feeling wasn't just from the staff but also from the other guest. We had some great conversations with the other guests. The other guests were intelligent, dynamic characters. There is something special in the air at The French Kiss Asia Resort. It’s funny, because while you’re there, you can actually feel it, like “everything is good in this place” and it makes you want to stay forever! I’m not exactly sure what it is; maybe it’s John and his family, the cozy rooms, the relaxing natural surroundings, the tours, or the vibrant guest personalities, but there is something truly special about The French Kiss Asia Resort. It may well be a small piece of heaven hidden away on earth. If you’re lucky enough you might just stumble upon it...if you’re lucky

I will stely this resort if I go to BOHOL ”
Actually we extended 2 nites. This is a great resort. The price is reasonable. With this price, I could enjoy a tropical stlye family house with sittingroom, two bedrooms, showerroom, and bathroom. Besides, a private swimming pool and a bar with wifi, pooling, and darts are accessible for free. The bar also serves as a restaurant and offer very good food. The service is perfect! The owner of this resort is very kind and friendly. The only down side of this resort is that the location is a little rural. It takes about 10 mins by motobike to the beach, but I think it's acceptable because the price would have been much higher if it were beside the beach. Anyway, the owner offers transportation service, and the price is reasonable, too, so it's not a big deal. Overall, I love this resort very much and will choose it the next time I go to Bohol, and, of course, I'll definitely recommand it to any of my friends.

Wonderful and heart-warming!”
Our stay was wonderful! As a couple, we really needed our privacy for our "Lune de Miel", but we also wanted to feel the family atmosphere that a home has. French Kiss Asia gave us that, so our first stay at Panglao Island was really an experience to remember. The owners: Mr Francois "Le Vieux" and Mrs Amelita; John and Maureen; Ate Esther the Cook; and of course, lovely adorable 4-year old Asia--really brought our vacation to life. Everything we needed was available, and our food requirements were professionally met. Hassle-free transport available too, and with that personal touch that made me and my husband feel super secure (and loved!) Clean surroundings and respectful team--great ingredients for a family run hotel. Definitely recommending to my friends and family!

Great Philippine style”
this place was my home for 3 nights and has been the highlight of my holiday. the small family run business went out of their way to make me happy and comfortable. i enjoyed their food at the open plan restaurant and bar, i would advise just asking for what is best and fresh on the day and leave it up to them. a short trike ride to alona for island hopping and a 10 minute walk thru the bush to the local beach. next to the bohol bee farm for a tour of their grounds and a great icecream! if you don't go expecting a western style experience, but to feel like part of a family then you will love this place.

Country side getaway with great company”
I was in Bohol by myself on an impromptu trip and didn't know what to expect. This resort was pretty far from the main strip and hidden behind some farms. I was a bit wary at first, but after I met the owners, I felt right at home. They were super nice and attentive, and since I was traveling by myself, they totally took care of me, helped me find the cheapest and nicest tour guide, and invited me out with them when they went to town. The room itself was nice and comfy, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. If you are a light sleeper, do expect to wake up early in the morning to the sound of roosters, cows, and pigs as there are farms nearby.

Very comfortable and peaceful”
This is a very small, intimate, family run resort. We immediately were made to feel at home, and were very well looked after. For a very small fee the staff will drive you to any location that you need on the island. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful, but close enough to be within a short drive to the resorts and the beaches then this is the place for you.

Very clean and friendly hotel.”
This hotel has the friendliest owners I have ever experienced. The simple amenities suit very well the lifestyle of Panglao, rooms have AC but it is much better to open the windows and let the breeze in. The beach is 10 minute walk and well worth the trip if you like swimming and uncrowded places.

Fairly isolated but with a nice atmosphere”
It may be overpriced, and it's far from luxurious, but I could have stayed longer. The bed wasn't terribly comfortable or good for lounging or sleeping in, the curtains were too thin, the water pressure was poor, and the water sometimes smelled like sulfur, but otherwise it was nice. Since it isn't within walking distance of other restaurants (except the Bee Farm, which is definitely worth a trip or several), it would have been nice if breakfast was included in the room rate. I enjoyed all the meals I had there though. It's family-run and the staff is very chatty and friendly. They offered plenty of advice and tips but didn't go out of their ways to assist a solo traveler. They'd be much more accommodating for groups, or at least they knew how to arrange sightseeing and boat trips and transportation for large groups but not for individuals. I was able to find my own way around okay, though. To get around it would be a good idea to rent a motorbike, since not much is in walking distance. I wasn't confident enough to drive a motorbike so I paid a considerable amount on tricycles and other transportation around Panglao and Bohol. There's a nice little pool for cooling off. I stayed 4 nights and kept busy with sightseeing around Bohol: there's plenty to do there and I didn't do much lounging around! Also, you have to buy your own drinking water daily, which is inconvenient. The wifi works though, in the bar/restaurant area. And it's nice to wake up to nature sounds.

Interesting accommodation in an attractive garden ”
We very much enjoyed our stay here, particularly the food and the hospitality of the owners. We had an excellent day trip around the highlights of Bohol. We hired a motorcycle to explore Panglao. Unfortunately the local roosters provided us with a very early morning alarm.

Sweet and Simple”
We were welcomed and treated with exceptional service the whole time we were at French Kiss. Nothing was too hard for the friendly owners, Amelita and Francoise, on our request. The Nippa Huts were kept clean and bar fridge stocked daily. French Kiss is a simple, sweet, and quiet retreat (bar the neighbours rooster singing 'Happy Birthday' from the early hours of the morning). The beach was accessible as long as you had a sense of adventure (10 min walk), otherwise the main beach at Alona was only a 50P - 150P tricycle ride away. We even found that locals stopped to ask us if we wanted a lift as they saw us wait for a ride by the roadside. Amelita even made food that wasn't on the menu to satisfy our need for a delicious home cooked Philipino meal. The owners do also offer tours. I would suggest you book French Kiss to stay/tour as our experience with other resorts/tours turned out unsatisfactory. Thanks for a wonderful holiday French Kiss.

Fanstatic”
We stayed 5 days and we spent unforgettable moments at this resort. The cooking made on request is excellent. The bungalows are very large and have 2 bedrooms. The management does everything to make you feel good. The rooms are cleaned every day (very rare in Asia ). Do not hesitate , Go for it!

"Native and comfortable hotel concept"”
It was a short and sweet stay. I told myself I wanted a different kind of hotel and the native rooms were a great concept You don't even need to turn the AC on as the natural air was very refreshing. The rooms were very clean with the basic tv, cable, dvd player and even a refrigerator. I am happy that even the prices at the minibar were so reasonable. It was like a home away from home.

Great hospitality”
This is my first time to visit Asian resort alone. I felt a bit anxious when I arrived at the airport because I found some people tried to cheat tourists. But all staffs in this resort helped me a lot. This was family- owned resort. They are very friendly and gave me great service. I really want to come back here. ;)

French Kiss Asia Resort”
The owner and his wife are amazing I've been to this island before, and chose the hotel due to high ratings, and the good value for money, given that it's 1/3 the price of inferior accomodations on Alona beach, a 20 minute drive away if you are comfortable driving a local motorcycle. I had emailed them upon confirmation of booking to have airport pickup, but had no response, so we were ripped off by a taxi arriving to the resort. The room is big, considering the price. The room was cleaned every 2-3 days and the hot water system was not reliable. It's also in the middle of nowhere, so expect to be waken by wild chickens, etc. at 1-6am., depending on the day. Upon arrival we were offered french fries and a drink and "you can use the kitchen and the deep fryer and anything you want", only to be later charged for using same amenities upon checkout and friendly-offered meals and bottles of wine from OTHER GUESTS with the same result. As a business, any other resort would advise you the fee or price before charging you - I'm confused with how they run the business here. I would recommend paying your tab daily or you will be in for a big surprise upon checko
