Homestay on quiet island”
Isle of View is a 4 bedroom home which rents out three of the rooms to tourists. The ex-pat Australian owner Bill and his Filipina wife Pearly live there too. Bill and Pearly are your hosts and serve breakfast. You can also have a beer and a chat with Bill - karaoke too if you like! There are 2 bathrooms which are separate from the rooms you can rent. One has hot water and one cold water only. The house is located on the waterfront, with a mangrove area on one side and rocky beach on the other. The view in the morning is beautiful. Pros: - Great view - Quiet location - Live-in owners are very friendly - You can swim directly in the water from the backyard Cons: - Limited food options on the island - Since the earthquake in 2015 the snorkelling in the water near the home isn’t great as the reef was badly damaged and covered in mud - Clean linen and towels only provided once a week - Shared bathroom for 3 guest rooms - Tank water Pangangan Island has several resorts on it as well as this homestay. Bigger resorts can be found on nearby Cabilao Island which is the most popular tourist destination in this area. If you enjoy a homestay this is a good option. If you prefer a resort with private bathroom and luxuries, look elsewhere.

Bill is an eccentric, chatty host! From the moment you walk in you will be offered a beer and some chitchat and also a persuasion of kareoke! The house itself is beautiful. The rooms are spacious with a fan. Beds are hard but if youre young youll be fine! Bill's wife perly makes great Filipino food and you can enjoy dinner together each evening if you wish. Breakfast is basic but you get enough to make you full. amazing local peanutbutter! They organized a scooter for us and we cruised around the island. Also inner tubes you can float around in! The beach isn't great due to the latest earth quake but the water is nice to cool off. It was beautiful being so close to a rural community and walking through the street everyone wanted to say hello! The location is rural and natural and made for some gorgeous photos. The kids were soo cute. Great place down the stree also makes some good pizza. They offer transport to and from the guesthouse.

Great location off the beaten path”
This small guest house is quite a ways from Tagbilaran, on a quiet island that is far from the crowded beaches and the hustle and bustle of the busy areas. If you're looking for a party scene and a large selection of places to dine, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing guesthouse with an ocean view, then this is a great place to stay. Activities such as kayaking and snorkeling are available for minimal charges, and dinner can be prepared for you.

I forgot to leave review.. i was here in summer 2019.. This place is amazing.The owner Bill was making design by himself. you can drink a cup of cofee looking at sea side.. and the second view from your room is in a jungle.. i really miss that place and if i will have a chance i will come back. i wanna here more stories and also this place is nice if you plan diving in Cabilao island . you can go from this island. on this island one divecenter doing diving to this island..hope to come back one more time before end of 2020

Warm and friendly hosts, Bill and Perlie, are a joy to be around. If you're looking for a dull, uninspiring place to stay, don't go to Isle of View. You will be both entertained and enthralled by stories of hang gliding. And you can literally dive and canoe right out the back door!

Like a homestay”
The resort is located on a small island, so it's a bit hard to reach - try to arrive early in the day to avoid expensive taxis. The island itself has a beautiful setting, but the beach at the resort is not really for swimming. Kayaking was great though, and sunset can be very pretty. The garden is great, too. Breakfast was nice, I still dream about their local peanut butter. The view from the balcony is wonderful. The bed was the hardest I've slept on in the Philippines, and that's saying something. The house looks amazing, typical bamboo architecture, the only downside of it is that you can hear every single little noise from the other rooms, so there is little privacy.

People are trying to scam you all the time in the surrounding countryside. The place is the best deal in the area it is situated in. Don't go to Isla HayHay, for example. There are no beaches to speak of, but maybe those are not your thing anyway. People outside of this place will try to rip you off. Watch out! The toilet in the place and the shower leave some things to be desired, but are acceptable.

Nice quiet stay for a couple that wants to escape ”
If you are looking wor some quiet time and travelling on budget - nothing can be better than this place. You can go kayaking in really nice places, snorkle, rest. Everything in the place and around it is pretty and quiet. If you are an early bird - get try to get the sea view room, if not - forrest one is better. Bill is very friendly and likes to tell stories :)

Lovely Bed and Breakfast with colorful hosts!”
our hosts were very helpful and entertaining. the house does not have a lot of privacy- very open to the outside which is ok because the house is surrounded by the ocean and gardens- but was a bit disconcerting at first. the location is away from the main tourist hub of panglao island but is closer to tubigon port and the chocolate hills. our hosts also fixed us dinner at a very reasonable price.

Excellent”
A truly individual house, designed and built by the owners, sea at the front, jungle at the rear. Bill is full of stories from his long and interesting life and is well backed up by Perle. Shared bathrooms may not be to everyone's taste, but this eccentric guest house is well worth a visit.

Beautifull place with laid-back atmosphere”
Compared to other places in philipphines, this is a quiet place, great for relaxation. Hosts are really helpfull. We did the mangrove kayak tour and got a local fisher to drive us around the Cabilao island with his boat to do snorkelling/freediving for a 1500 pesos... It was a great expirience overall :)
