Izumo hotels & accommodations
The best hotel I have stayed so far in Japan for years. Room is better and better than average rooms in Japan, friendly staffs, English friendly reception. Great onsen experiences. They even have 1 free beer for each guest from 19:00 to 21:00, good choice to have after a hot onsen. They also provide half-size Ramen from 21:30-23:30. Free coffee all the time from coffee...
Close to the convenience store just 1min by walk, Izumo-Shi station 5min by walk, Izumo Taisha 30min by bus. Staffs are very friendly. I booked 2 people but my partner couldn’t come with me, and then they gave me some discount. That was great experience, thanks a lot.
the hotel is in fornt of the station. there are many restaurants around this hotel.
the accomodation on the internet was difgerent to the actual accomodation.
Staff were very strict about the 4PM check-in time, telling them you would arrive early has no impact - unless you hold a Toyoko membership. The bath temperature was tricky, rest are as expected from a hotel in Japan.
Need to walk 10 mins for dinning. Staff have Good service

The cottage is on the top of a mountain and has a stunning view to other mountains and the Shinji-See. The beautiful temple 'Ichibataji' is right next to the two cottages. The sleeping area is on the 2nd floor. But there is also a sleeping couch on the 1st floor. There is everything you need, also if you want to stay for a couple of days. A kitchen with dining area...
