Clean and great location”
J2 has a great location with easy access to other parts of Mae Sot - if one has a car. There is no public transport in Mae Sot worth talking about. The hotel has free wi-fi for guests and it works most of the time. The breakfast buffet us nothing to write home about, but it is OK. The sat TV in the rooms should have more international (English-language) channels.

Really helpful and pleasant staff ”
will definitely stay again when i come back to mae sot. the staff were friendly and helpful and even when they could not always understand english made attempts to understand what my request was. the breakfast was not always hot but a good variety offered. it may be good to offer tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. the hotel was modern and i really loved the 'retro' but very modern furniture in the lobby. i hope this hotel does well and will definitely recommend it to any friends who visit mae sot.

Good for one night”
Big clean halls and rooms. Good shower, hot water. Comfortable bed and pillows, 2 more in the closet. Shampoo and gel in the shower, 2 big towels, 2 hand towels. LCD TV. Good WIFI all the time. Breakfast was just okay, fried eggs in a pan, self serve toast, juice, coffee but tea bags are extra. Asian noodle dishes. It was 100 baht from the airport, the taxi driver said all rides in Mae Sot are 100 baht flat fee. Big dining area open for breakfast, but you can order from a room service menu, low prices. Sadly, there was no Coke, just some Fantas. Two free waters, snacks for sale in the lobby, such as Lays chips in a tube. Some bicycles for rent, 20 baht per hour. Very quiet at night, I slept well. Friendly staff with good English. A pool would have been nice.

Best Place in Mae Sot!”
This little hotel is a gem! It was so very clean...no strange odors in the room, even the ceiling looked clean. The staff were so kind and with smiles, eager to help. Location is fantastic, with a 7-11 right down the street, plus easy access to the nearby border crossing, about 10 minutes away. Air con worked great, great water pressure and great hot water. Breakfast was simple, but more than sufficient. Stay here if you are in Mae Sot.

Clean and great location”
The hotel as a great location on a main thoroughfare, easy access to the rest of Mae Sot although one would need to have a car to get around. There is no public transport other than "motorcycle taxis". The hotel has ample parking outside. The rooms are very clean but they lack any kind of decorations; walls are bare and the floor is made up tiles, which can make it slippery if one is not careful.

my 2nd stay at j2. new-looking, reasonably priced hotel. good-sized rooms; smart bathrooms. free wifi. very clean.good breakfast included in room price.will stay there again on next visit.guests arriving by air should ask to be picked up by hotel car as there is no transport (tuk-tuks, motorbikes) at airport.

Superb location”
Was looking for a comfortable stopover before travelling to Mae Sariang the next morning. With 4 young kids in tow and 2 other adult companions, all 7 of us could fit comfortably in the VIP room. Breakfast was fabulous with a good international spread. We did not have to top up extra money for our kids. Location of hotel is in city centre of Mae Sot. Ample parking spaces in hotel, fresh market 5 min away.

Friendly modern hotel”
This was my 3rd stay at J2. The hotel is well maintained; rooms are of reasonable size and comfortable; wifi free throughout;no restaurant but excellent buffet breakfast, and plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff friendly and helpful.Walking distance to downtown, local bus services, tuktuks to main bus station/airport. I think they have a minibus for those who don't like walking though I didn't need and can't be sure.

Well looked after”
Very happy with staying at J2 Hotel with spacious feel and kind friendly staff. My girl friend always checks the sheets etc and they passed the clean test. Will stay here again. Shopping at the border markets good with several teak artifacts in hand. Restaurant just up the road from market made tasty food. Went out for some live music and beer and had fun.

Hotel is located a 10mins walk to Robinson shopping mall and just a junction away from street food. Staff was friendly and helpful..will definitely come back when i'm in Mae Sot.

My first visit to this hotel but it will not be the last. I have stayed in Mae Sot many times over 15 years and this is now my preferred choice of accommodation.

Clean and spacious”
My office has used J2 for group bookings in the past so I was familiar with the staff/facilities and chose it on short notice. J2 also has bicycle rentals, which was important for me. It is really spacious, well-located (within 10 minutes walk to Robinson and many good restaurants and cafés), and a good choice for groups; however, the walls are thin and other guests can be noisy in the hallways at all hours. I wouldn't recommend it for solo travellers (I was given a triple-room) or couples/families (Maesot has several other suitable options in similar price range). I do think it is very good facility for groups and business travellers.

Safe, Clean and a Great Place to Stay!”
We stay at the J2 every year for business. My favorite is the tea kettles in the room for your jet lag early morning awakening. The rooms are cool and clean with great storage. Just bring your own toilet paper or buy some at 7 eleven as there always seems to be a shortage in the rooms.

A new hotel close to the centre of Mai Sot”
Excellent value for money for a new hotel in Mae Sot. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked, the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful but their English skills were not very high. Breakfast was only just adequate. I would stay there again.
