"This is a nice clean business hotel in Asakusa. Hotel room is typical for this type. Small but clean and neat. It is conveniently located close to the subway station and about 2 blocks from the Kannon temple. There are many places to eat and a small park across the street. Great if you are a tourist in Tokyo. The Skytree tower is about 30 minutes walk away. Just cross over the nearby bridge and walk towards the tower, it's easy to keep in sight. The hotel has the standard amenities, free LAN internet, shaver, toothbrush, hair brush etc. A nice extra is the public spa bath, both indoor and outdoor where you can get a nice view of the city. At night you can treat yourself to a free snack of hot noodles in the hotel restaurant. Hotel staff are friendly and can speak limited English. You can get maps of the area from the front desk. We enjoyed our stay here."

"It was a very good stay. A rough 10 min walk to the tawaramachi station and give a 20-30 min walk to asakusa shopping district Raimon gate. Don quijote and rox is also in the vicinity. Plenty of 24hr convengeance stores."

"Love this place, slept in tatami room , had plenty of space, bathroom is clean and modern. The lighting of the room had a natural flow. Upon first check-in, was treated with a foot wash, then escorted with lantern through a tiny door into times of Edo period. Overall spectacular find, surrounded by local small businesses that is not only charming but inviting. Hanna was a delight to communicate with as well. "

"I stayed in a single japanese style room. The rooms are small but well equipped (TV, small fridge, table). Perfect for those travelling on a budget but not willing to stay in one of those capsule hotels. Facilities (washrooms, toilets) are in the hallway and are kept nice and clean. There is a coffee/tea/hot water machine in each floor. Staff speaks only basic english, not quite enough to give you directions if you don't know japanese ;) The hotel is in Asakusa district, about 500m from the "H-20" metro station (Hybia line), in a small alley, a bit tricky to find. There are small supermarkets and restaurants around every corner, and a small shopping mall at the train station. It's only a short train ride to any other part of Tokyo, and about a 1-2k walk to the Sensoji temple. Don't confuse it with the other hotel Fukudaya at Shibuya. "

"What I love about this hotel -I book for triple room and got 6 bed group room instead. Really love it cause I could use the other space for our belongings. -View was extraordinary. My room was on 5th floor, and you could see an amusement park just across the building with a complimentary view from Tokyo Skytree and Sensoji Temple. -Staff were excellent, hospitable and speak good english -Probably the only hostel with affordable price (by far) that still give you a nice and proper breakfast (toast, soup, drinks, etc) -Check in time starts from 1 pm. It's very convenient for us who have arrive in Japan since morning. (most of the hostel that I know of in Tokyo has check in time starts from 3 pm) Now for the downsides: - it's quite a walk from Asakusa Station (Ginza Line). It's indeed near to another Asakusa Station (the tsukuba express line) but this line is quite pricy. - the heater start to turn on from 10 pm. - there is an open air on the aisle which connect you from your room to the shared bathroom. It's freezing cold especially on winter Overall I have great time there and would definitely spread the good words!"
