Jahongir Premium Hotel ”
We were delighted with the kindness and warmth of the brand new Jahongir Premium Hotel's owner Zafar and his family staff. The rooms are large with a sound heating system and comfortable beds. The location is very close to Registan, with nearby local restaurants, a bakery, and small local grocery stores. The buffet breakfast provided coffee, tea, juices, fresh fruits, eggs, different breads, samosas, salads, desserts, cheeses, vegetables, and local specialties. We highly recommend Jahongir Premium Hotel. We extended our stay from 7 days to 9 days over Christmas and the New Year. We will return in the future!

Very Honest and Helpful. ”
This was our first trip to this country and the host and staff made us feel like we are home away from home. Ask the questions and treat everyone how you would want to be treated, as they have answered our questions and treated us with that. It’s got hot water, aircon rooms, breakfast in the mornings and it’s in walking distance to everything you would want to see. If your expecting to experience the culture and people, this would be the place to stay at. 10+ stars from me and the group.

Lovely small hotel in perfect location”
This lovely small hotel is perfect to explore the sights of Samarkand. It is located in quiet neighbourhood just 5min walk from Registan. The owner is super friendly and helpful, also by arranging super last minute excursions. Breakfast was fantastic, very good choice and all fresh and always looked up by the staff that nothing is missing. Rooms are nicely decorated and have TV, aircon, a spacious bathroom and a small table and chair.

A gem near Registan”
From outside it looks ordinary, but once u enter, it’s a v charming place. Rooms are nicely decorated, v clean n functional, breakfast has a nice spread. Staff is v knowledgeable, service oriented and helpful. In particular, Mr Umid - he is also a licensed tour guide, super informative, speaks excellent English and has a likeable personality.

Recommend. Walking distance to Registan ”
Coming from Bukhara and Khiva, Jahongir has the most local flavor of the hotels I looked at in Samarkand. Very friendly staff who give good advice and take care of the place. Breakfast was buffet style which was nice because you can take whatever you like; most small BnBs in Uzbekistan don’t have as much variety as Jahongir for breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the courtyard setting is nice. I thought my bed at Jahongir was the most comfortable I had while in Uzbekistan- where most mattresses were usually pretty firm. The only negative is that though the hotel is indeed very close to the Registan, there’s surprisingly not a lot of good food options in the area. I took a taxi to Russian town - easy trip - for better food options for lunch and dinner.

A pleasant experience”
The place is a family run hotel and is very accessible to all attractions in Samarkand by walking distance ( between 10 to 20minutes by foot). The staff are lovely and they serve you tea each evening and it is non-chargeable! The place is very cosy. Everything works well and extra care is given to make your stay comfortable. We would return again of we revisit Samarkand. Thank you.

Very helpful and supportive staff”
The hotel is clean and well located for walking to sites and 400 meters, from the Registan which is the main site in Samarkand. Near supermarkets and shops. My wife and I arrived after wife got food poisoning in Bukhara. Unfortunately she had a relapse around 1am and staff Yusef was more than helpful. He organised a doctor hotel visit and then a taxi to the hospital. He stayed with us to translate to drs help wife register and be with us, taking me home at 4am. So supportive. Will never forget.

Check-in:We came to Jahongir hotel at 7 a.m and it was very kind and hospitable to provide us a room before check in time . Room:The room was cosy and had everything we needed. Wifi:the best among all hotels in Uzbekistan we stayed. Breakfast:Breakfast was also great. The staff was very helpful. Location:The location is walking distance to Registan. Overall -great value for money.Highly recommended.

Very convenient with friendly staff”
The hotel is about 7 mins of walking distance to Registan as well as the closest supermarket and local restaurants. The staff were super nice. Really enjoyed our stay there. You may consider taking bus no. 3 or 73 and get off in front of the Registan monuments if you are arriving by the train station. It would be much more affordable and less a hassle than dealing with taxi drivers who want to over-charge tourists.

Lacation is very good near registan palace. Room is clean. Though I asked for an early check in, the door was closed. I had to wait outside for an hour (a very kind neighbor local person helped me though). It was not a good experince, but the other things are quite okay, will stay here again if I visit Samarkand next time.

Nice boutique hotel near Registan Square”
It was a very pleasant experience. The hotel first helped arrange pickup at train station since I arrived pretty early. Let me swap breakfast day since I’m leaving early the following day and their breakfast spread was great. The room is nice and clean, bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean. The hotel is a bit hidden off the street but only 5 mins walk from the main road and Registan Square.. The staff are very hospitable and helpful. This boutique hotel has my recommendation 👍

Great location close to Registan. Staff were very helpful with good English. Very clean and breakfast was good fruit pancakes bread cheese fried egg usual Uzbek style. Criticisms are our tiny room for which we were charged top dollar. slow wifi and TV hopeless-no channels

Belli i giardini/cortili su cui si affacciano le stanze. Ci sono state un pò di difficoltà nei giorni passati a Samarcanda perchè pochi taxisti sanno dove si trova questo posto. Colazione a buffet, staff gentile e molto disponibile.
