I like the hotel's location, it can easily be found. The hotel has everything, like ATM and grocery stores. If you want to have a peaceful vacation, this place is definitely good for you! There's not a lot of people so you can enjoy the beauty of the beach.

Mouldy ceiling and mouldy smell....”
Could have been a good stay to be right in town for one night to catch an early bus (05:15), but the room smelled bad/mouldy and had a mouldy ceiling..... Room could have been OK except for that.

The No Stay Review”
I was a non traveler this time, due to Covid restrictions. My fault completely. I did not read the part of restrictions that said no movement between resorts. I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions. Always good, the rooms are ok but the location is fantastic. The food is marginal at best, if you want great food, dine at Easy Diving Resort. So the Jamont was able to make some money off me without providing any service, good for them. Will I stay at the Jamont in the future? Yes, it's a great location....

Pleasant staff with a very OLD under-maintained hotel. Quite expensive for my experience. But it was a pleasant stay overall.

Badly hit by typhoon”
I guess its best to let them recover first before you book for this hotel. They asked me to pay P200 per hour for arriving 2 hours earlier than their check in time. Food was good, island hopping tour was excellent, you have to of course pay extra for this. Staff were all sorry for the "no wifi", no cable, no swimming pool at that time.

I had to pay extra fee because of a stain that we're not responsible of. before you check-in in this hotel, check your bedsheets and everything else because they will make you pay for it. i had to pay for a blood stain when the people who slept on that bed didn't have their period. lol

Excellent Hotel ”
This hotel is actually called the Jamont hotel so you may be confused when you arrive. I got the bus from Dumaguete and the hotel is right next to the bus terminal. I made the mistake of booking a single room with a fan and regret not upgrading. The other rooms that I was shown when I checked out were fantastic and not so expensive. The swimming pool is really large and kept very clean. A guy was clearing leaves all day. The hotel is right on the beautiful sandy beach, when I was there I had the beach to myself. I had dinner both nights of my visit and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Would definitely return but choose a better room.

Everything is alright - location is good, beach in Sipalay poblacion is nice, the food park is a few metres away, more dining options at the city centre if you want to skip the hotel’s restaurant. Places to go to in Sipalay are best enjoyed when the waves aren’t too bad. The beaches are all open sea so we weren’t able to do an island hopping tour because of an LPA. The waves were insane. Alao there were military exercises when we visited so lots of army with their guns in the area which can be a tad uncomfortable.
