I was looking for a cheap yet nice place to stay in Guimaras. I thought of not getting an expensive one because we will be out most of the time anyway. We just wanted a nice and clean place to stay — Jannah Glycel Beach House went beyond our expectation!!! Ms Janice, the receptionist was VERY warm and hospitable. She welcomed us with a smile and she does ALWAYS smile which makes it easy to talk to her and tell her of our needs. They have 4 labradors which made our stay extra special as I am a BIG DOG LOVER! The place is very much INSTAGRAMABLE! The patio was nice, the pathways, the garden.. very great for our photoshoot. They have a small beach area at the back but it’s not that swimmable because of the sea weeds and rocks BUT!!!! there’s a floating restaurant across that will only ask you to pay ₱50 per head as entrance. They will pick you up from the shore and bring you to the floating cottage. In there, you can enjoy Tarzan swing, diving and if you have a snorkel, there are also fishes around. Our stay was really a memorable and an awesome one. I love this place for it gave us privacy and peace. The rooms were really nice and worth the price. The staffs and the owner herself welcomed us with warmth and love. They are hospitable and accommodating. They made us feel like we are their family. Thank you, Ma'am Joyce. An excellent choice for a chilled stay”
This is a fabulous little place with very hard-working, efficient and friendly staff. The lady on reception and dealing with restaurant orders is an absolute diamond and the chef makes great Philippine food. The room is spotless and the garden, balcony and location are very relaxing. The room has lots of pictures of castles and palaces in France. There are some very happy dogs wandering freely, which is nice to see rather than being chained up all day. We enjoyed yummy food in the restaurant and it's only 10 minutes walk from a very nice beach. We thought this was one of the best value places we have ever been to and the quality far outmatches the low price.

This place is the best when it comes to serenity and tranquility! The staff and even the owner were so warm and very accommodating to our needs. The food was great and definitely worth for it's price. Goulash dish is a must try :) Plus we even have the chance to dine in our own veranda. The white sand ideal for swimming is just few meters away from this place so we're so glad that we spent our vacation here. Hat's off to the owner and the staff...

I initially booked one night at the hotel, but extended to two nights, and then three. The hotel is really nice in beautiful gardens, and has a small beach. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and will arrange island hopping, or scooter rental. The food in the restaurant was good, even not massive selection, but enough choice for me. It’s fairly close to Guisi lighthouse, and trikes are available nearby. Bear in mind it’s around 40 mins from Jordan Port. I would be happy to return one day.

Beautiful and peaceful property at a very affordable price range!”
Pros: Beautiful property with a tropical feel, but inside, the rooms are decorated with a French motif, as others have stated that the owner is French. The staff, especially Janice, is very friendly and should be praised for excellent customer service. They're lucky to have her. It's also just a 10-minute walk from Alubihod Beach. But please note, they now charge an entrance fee of 50php at Alubihod Beach resort or Raymen Beach Resort to access the main beach front. The dogs didn't bother us. They're good guard dogs, and every property in the Philippines needs them, so get used to it. Cons: I was not impressed by the food, especially the local dishes. For example, the pancit bihon was so simple and basic, yet very overpriced. My wife could make it much better, with more ingredients too. The burger patty was so thin, like paper. I wanted to eat more at their restaurant, but our first meal deterred us to go elsewhere. Don't forget the Mango Pizza in town at the PitStop!

I highly recommend the place if you want your own private space and oasis. No big crowds. Just you, the beach, and the greens. The owner and the staff are very kind and accommodating. The teeny tiny downside, for me, are the boats that are parked on the side of the beach... But you can still definitely swim. The water is clear. There's a floating cottage nearby, too, and you can also go island hopping as other options for swimming. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Very cheap rooms. Spacious and clean. Wifi only available at food hall, even then, wifi is weak. Cash basis only. Big guard dogs loose may frighten you. Food is a bit pricey and very limited option. Do not order buttered shrimp, they add ketchup. Beachfront is not swimmable: littered with sharp rocks, murky water, small boats parked. Alibojod beach is 700m away. Transpo could be difficult, might as well rent a motorcycle or ask the tricycle driver to pick you up upon checkout.

Jannah Glycel Beach house is very cozy. I love the 3 friendly labradors Dormor, Butterball and Gigi. Ms. Janice, who prepared our food is very accommodating, plus the preparation of the dishes are excellent, highly recommended.. Will love to visit again in next year's Manggahan Festival .

Location is about 30 min drive from Jordan Port but can be easily accessed by tricycle. ”
Hotel has lots of stairs and no elevator but hotel crew helped us with our luggage. Location is near the water but not swimmable. Island hopping tours are available and can be arranged by hotel approx 1500 php for a group of 6.
