Basic comforts”
The price was great for Tokyo and location was convenient. In a quieter area so you have a place to return home and relax after a day of exploring. Located right next to a metro station and within walking (long walk) distance to Tokyo station, the palace and gardens. Many people per room but each bed has it's own light, curtain and electrical socket. Common area with couches, refrigerator and sink. Downside may be that there are only 4 showers for the entire guesthouse (located in the common area) but I didn't find this to be a major problem.

Cool place accessible to JR and subway station”
The hostel is amazing from check in to check out! Its located near a bus stop, subway station (bakurokoyama) and JR station! Also they have a restaurant dowblnstairs and they allow you to hangout at the common place before your check in! The staff were super nice!!! Will stay here again when I come back to tokyo! Thanks guys for making my Japan trip less complicated and fun!

Convenient location, good value ”
This place was all I needed. A comfy place to sleep (although be aware, the top bunk is really high lol), good WiFi, friendly staff, lounge area / kitchen on second floor, roof top on 6th floor. Close to JR station but I even walked to Tokyo station the next morning which took me about 20-25 minutes. Good price and would def stay again.

The location is pretty good, near the metro and JR station. And there is a super nice and budget supermarket just next to it, so convenient. The staffs are so nice and helpful. The only bad thing to me is that the mattress isn't fit(maybe to soft). I have seriously back and neck-shoulder pain these few days while staying there. Overall, it's a really nice experience to stay at Japanize guesthouse. I'll be back next time!

Backpacker's Bet”
If you travel solo or by pair, staying here 1-2 nights is your best bet. It's cheap considering it's near downtown Tokyo, and the staff is really nice. Shuji was especially friendly and a gentleman, with loads of energy even after past 10pm haha! The area has a lot of izakaya and pubs so it's a bonus. Beds are also comfortable and relatively clean. Prepare to frequently go up and down the stairs tho since there's no elevator, and the shower room, dining and wifi areas are on the 2F. Perhaps bring a backpack instead of a luggage when you stay here. Your biggest risk: roomies (you'll never know the types you get).

Couldn't Ask For More”
Japanize Guest House has been beyond amazing for me. The location was highly convenient as it was within walking distance (about 2 minutes!) to 3 metro/JR stations (Bakuro-yokoyama, Higashi-Nihombashi and Bakurocho). The team of staff manning the place is incredible, not only because they are multilingual, but are very candid - just the kind you'd appreciate meeting when you're on foreign land alone. The house and its facilities are pretty basic but it is definitely value for money considering the amount you pay for. (Also, not forgetting the comfy bunk beds that I miss so much right now!)

I was going to Tokyo alone, and this place is perfect. Perfectly near to the station (Bakurocho/Bakuro-Yokoyama), only 2.5km to Ueno Park, I walk there for only 35 minutes, and only 20 minutes walk to Akihabara. Very strategic place

Excellent”
What I like best abt this hostel/guesthouse is its location. It is just fee steps from Bakurocho Station, which is a JR Station. From Narita Airport, I don’t need to transfer trains, with all my bags and luggages! I just rode the Sobu Rapid train which will stop at Bakurocho (NEX won’t stop here). And vise versa otw back to Narita. The staffs are good and can speak English. Bed is spacious and have curtains for yoir privacy. Bathrooms are clean and shampoo, conditioner and bath soaps are provided. There’s also a coin dryer and washer for your convenience. The only thing I don’t really want here is, THEY DON’T HAVE ELEVATOR! Which means you need to carry your luggages upstairs (or you can live it in front). But all in all, it was good. Good for tourists who just need a place to spend the night and in the morrow, explore the city. And great for those who have JR passes too! Cos JR Station is just few steps away (just like what ive said). And pls do try their beef curry downstairs! It was soooooo good!!

Japanize Guest was clean, neat and easily acessible to the Tokyo Metro. It's very ideal for backpackers or for those who are mostly outside when traveling. It's not perfect for family because you don't really have an exclusive or private room for yourselves. But like I said, it's good enough for young travelers. The bed was spacious and comfortable. There's a common area where you can eat and take a bath, etc. If you're open to meet new friends and fellow travelers, this place suits you 🙂

Things were clean, Staff very friendly, good/excellent location, Washer machine alright but the dryer was a bummer. I would recommend the spot to a friend(s). Price for what you get is acceptable, or may I say, worth each penny. Hope to visit again in the near future, had a cold but fun time in japan :) hehe!

Decent hostel, decent location”
Hostel allows you to leave luggage if arrive before check-in or leave after check-out which is very helpful and safe in Japan! Wifi good, each floor has its own. No elevator and rooms are on 3rd, 4th, 5th floors--so be aware, no elevator! Beds are good with privacy curtain and built into the wall, so no movement. Very small lock box above bed, no shelf. Men/women toilets/sinks on bed floors but showers (two only for each M/W) on 2nd floor in lounge area. There is NO kitchen--it is a kitchenette with microwave/rice cooker/toaster/fridge (ugh-bad advertisement!). Restaurant downstairs expensive but great grocery store next door. Some restaurants nearby; located in area away from main areas but multiple train stations close. Staff are nice. Could be cleaner-had to shake out bed, dust all over. Overall decent.

Beware of the bedbugs!”
Good - Location is excellent. JR Bakurochō exit is next to the hostel. - Toei and metro subway are 5-10 mins walk. -- อยู่ใกล้สถานีรถไฟใต้ดินกับสถานีรถไฟเจอาร์ - 7/11, Lawson, Familymart and supermarket are nearby. -- ร้านสะดวกซื้ออยู่ใกล้ - Staff are very good in English. -- พนักงานสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษได้ดี Neutral - Air-con doesn't work properly on 4th floor but there are some fans to use. -- แอร์ชั้น4 ไม่เย็น แต่มีพัดลมให้ใช้ - No elevator (Not a big deal) -- ไม่มีลิฟ - 2 shower room for men are OK because I didn't have to wait for the shower room during my stay. -- ห้องอาบน้ำมี 4 ห้อง ชาย2 หญิง2 Bad - ''Bedbugs'', there are some bedbugs in my bed. I visited Japan about 20 times. This is the first time I encounter bedbugs. Cleanliness is important for the hostel. I hope you fix this problem as soon as possible because the bedbugs are unacceptable. -- ความสะอาดของเตียงแย่ มี Bedbugs โดนกัดแล้วเป็นแผลตุ่มแดงๆ หายช้ามาก Overall Cleanliness of bed need to improve.

Very convenient location which near to metro station. This guesthouse nearby has convenient store, supermarket and restaurant as well.. If you plan to stay here and having a huge luggage is not convenient because they do not have lift! And I was staying at 5th floor so I have no choice to leave my big luggage at the lobby and I was afraid my luggage will lost because reception close at 12am and the main door do not have password door which anyone can just walk in to the guesthouse. Room was ok but my boyfriend slept at the top of the bunk bed which very very close to the air-conditioner ventilation pipe and there was a big screw on it (kind of dangerous). Was quite disappointing on the 2nd floor which is the bathroom and common area.. Dustbin is always full which nobody clear for it, pantry area was kind of messy and small...

Wooden Shared Rooms with BunkBeds ”
Its a very nice option to stay for the last night you are in Tokyo before an international line, due to the fact that next door, there is a metro station that directly goes to Narita Airport with a pretty much number of daily trains. One point that i didn't like so much was that it was very difficult to load my battery phone. Maybe due to the general installation there is not enough power to fill batteries for a lot of gathered people. So according to this bring your cell power bank pretty filled :)

Comfortable and great for backpackers”
I felt comfortable as soon as i got to the place and i was able to meet some cool people which is why I like staying in guesthouses. It’s also walkable distance (in my opinion) to Akihabara and Asakusa
