Our overall stay was good”
The staff are very accomodating. We enjoyed our stay and so are the kids. This is our second time and we will definitely go back. The only problem we encounter is that the card of our room is not functioning hence we need to ask the front desk for the key everytime we will enter the room

Excellent accommodation and facilities, poor location”
Hotel provided free transpo service to/from airport, tnx much! Great facilities and accommodation, value for money! The hotel however is far from the heart of the city. It's so difficult to commute specialy at night. Trikes is very expensive if you will commute. Hope they can do something on this.

It was good but...”
Location is near the airport but a little far from other places. There is a convenient store and a restaurant which is a plus but has limited options to buy and/or to order. The place and facility is surprisingly good and the pool is great for all ages though I wish it was free to use for checked-in guests. The room was ok for a short stay but I have to say that they should improve the water supply in the toilet/shower and 1 of the rooms I booked was too dark even when all the lights are on. They offered a buffet breakfast for a fee but I did not avail and I hope they would just include it in the booking amount as well. The staff are great and very accommodating.

Stuffs were friendly, location is far from the City Center and no free shuttle but it was really quiet and peaceful, foods are tasty yes but little bit pricy and no much options, they said matrimonial bed but it was really small bed and the water in the room is like drops of rains during sunny days.

Beautiful pool and outdoor area which we enjoyed after travels. Nice staff. Staying in this town was a necessity for airport otherwise wouldn’t have. Room was like a small jail cell with tiny window and noisy AC, curtains were filthy, bottom sheets clean, top sheet not.

Checked into the room, their was stubbed out cigarettes in the bin under a sign that says "no smoking". This is so ridiculous but it's true. Room was okay at best. Location is awful. It says Cuayan but it's not very close at all, not walking distance anyway. Japi is a complete nothing of a place. There's nothing there at all. This place should be cheaper than it is because it offers nothing.

A Pleasant Surprise”
JAPI was a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect much from it, having seen the pics only on the internet. We just needed a place to stay in Cauayan, while my nieces were visiting their dad's family. JAPI was the only place with a pool, so I booked it. But I was surprised with the facilities and amenities, not expecting much from a "small town" hotel. The room was clean and the pool was great for the kids. The breakfast buffet spread didn't offer much but it was good enough to fill one's tummy. You can see security officers around the area so you get a feeling of safety. The only downside we experienced was when I asked for our room to be cleaned on our 2nd day, but when we returned, it was still as we left it. But other than that, our stay in JAPI was a good one.

Best kept secret in Isabela”
The staff at the hotel was great and very understanding. Every question was answered in a polite manner and with a smile. The food was very good but appears that the kitchen was elsewhere. I could not give the food a "exceptional" rate since the pasta / noodles were always hard or at best "warm" The store next door does not accept credit / debit cards even thought it is run under the Japi name. Outside of that, the swimming pool is nice as well as staff.

Short stay but worrh it. ”
We had a comfortable stay at Japi. We had a problem at first because the rooms we booked were occupied, but they compensated for it by giving us other rooms that can fit all of us. The only negative comment i can give is that they charge Php 150 each person if you want to use their swimming pool.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in the Philippines”
As against the evaluation I saw on Agoda.com, I felt much of negative impression on this hotel. First, it says that WIFI is available throughout the hotel. This is a LIE. Almost no WIFI is available in the room (I stayed in a room in the main building). Even in the main building, WIFI accessibility was the minimum among the hotels I stayed in the Philippines. Even worse was the attitude of the staff of the hotel. They gave me the wrong password and did not give any apology for this at all. I would never stay here any more.

The hotel is at par with other business hotels in terms of cleanliness despite location which is quite far from the city proper and the airport. There is no complementary drinking water, and if you want to get one free, you need to take a walk of about 100 meters just reach the water dispenser.
