Limited restaurant options (two fine dinning, buffet, grill [good jerk chicken] and a pizza oven) and food ends at 2 AM (not 24-hours). The main and only buffet was mediocre; needed more Jamaican food options. The is no hard liquor in the room only a few cans of beer in the mini fridge. Otherwise, the location is great, the room is very clean and service staff are super friendly. If you are not picky about food like myself, this resort is an very good inexpensive option to try out Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

Got wrong room requested ocean view got construction view could not use my balcony because of construction next door and the dust. Bathroom had small roaches in the night. Went for dinner restuarant ac not working. To top it off got stuck in the elevator which did not have a working alarm or telephone. I cut my stay short only did one night.

American Airlines had a flight delay( not my choice) and I could not make it. They tried to reroute me but there was another delay. I did not make use of the hotel booking and yet they say a booking is non refundable. In some circumstances though, I think some sort of refund is inevitable.

The rooms didn’t have a wow factor , the food needs variety to choose from especially at the buffet . Some staff are friendly . Grill at night run out of things . In the room 2218 the night latch is loose , the plugs in the bathroom does not work , room was not cleaned until almost 5 pm after leaving at from around 9 so while it rained and return there we had to sit on the balcony to allow her to clean . The front desk check in could be more friendly indicated that it was a birthday . Never given an option of upgrade , amenities nor the company recognized same . Went to magarativille and the driver gave us a time and arrived half an hour later with us calling the resort to questioned why no one showed up . The night activities need help especially for a couples resort . Steel band was great however the beach party was a joke both for food and entertainment. The liquor choices at the bar could be better. The spa was great - very good deal and service was amazing .
