Cleanliness, staff attitude, safety and smart building

There's no wardrobes, we place our luggages on the floor and that is not healthy. Yes there's small place on the wall where one can hang some clothes but it's not enough. Wardrobes will be the best

It was a great place to be at, but a little bit cold at night. No electric blanket

The place is very clean, the kitchen is fully equipped, the breakfast is tasty and the staff is very nice: Elizabeth is a great hotelier. Without that staff it would have been a totally different stay for me and this is why I appreciated their commitment in welcoming me and supporting me in the discovery of their country, of which they are very proud (also, each room is named after and decorated with something characteristic from Lesotho). Thanks to them I was able to discover a country that both from the naturalistic and from the cultural point of view surprised me with a richness beyond my expectations and has nothing to envy to bigger countries.

The room was quite cold: there's a small heater, but not sufficient to warm up the air in the room (Maseru is in the mountain and at night the temperature goes below zero). Anyway, the bed is heated so at least for sleeping it is was fine (the temperature was uncomfortable while outside the blanket, especially when going for a shower). Then comes the reason of the overall rate: the surroundings of the hotel. The place lies in a bidonville. There's a security man (who is a nice and friendly person, but he's not even armed and not really in the possibility to protect anyone) and there's a wall (which is quite short, not even electrified and topped with barbed wire), but none of those can concretely prevent from intruders to jump into so I feel there must be some sort of agreement with the local inhabitants not to attack the hotel. Due to the safety issue, I was unable to go out to buy myself some food (luckily I had some in my bag). When I went out accompanied in a group, still it was necessary to be wide awake (when one of the group was taking a picture of me, a stranger was about to snatch the phone, but I understood his intention and I stepped forward making the bad guy to renounce). As a solo traveller, even during daytime it's not safe (it goes without saying that after dark it's a disaster). Additionally, when I booked a taxi on a famous website, the driver was leading me to another hotel saying that there were two places with that name: that's a popular scam (luckily I downloaded an offline map to see where he was driving to and I insisted to go to the right place). On the contrary, the driver contacted by the hotel was very nice and I had a great day trip and a tranquil ride to the airport. The hotelier really turned my stay from a nightmare to a discovery that I couldn't have had otherwise. Still, I feel this place is a like a flower that it's not possible to pick (at least for now).

Cold shower is a no.. no.., please switch the gyser on

It needs to be improved, ask customers what they will prefer? Big cups for tea/coffee. Congestion to the bathroom.

A whole lot of things,their TV only have 2 channels and wifi did not have internet

Breakfast was great,rooms were exceptionally clean.

Beds had broke legs and that made one not to sleep comfortably. Breakfast took long to be served. Choice of Menu was limited. No enough moving around space in the rooms,beds are too close to bathroom sliding doors.

I liked everything..the place is clean 👌 actually we booked at the sea point but mistakenly we drove by Google to Matebo ..when we got there Lord... they phoned and allowed us to speed the rest of our days with them..thanks so much guys

i decided to stay one more day. Electricity went off in the evening apparently the whole area but they didn't have a generator. So i spent a cold and dark night ❄️🥶
