the staffs are really helpful when i requested them for help to make some reservation. They give their best in the work they do and are very professional! two of the staffs working there even came to help me too. i admire their work attitude. highly recommend this place, location wise amd comfort level! never regret making this decision to stay here! i'm touched by their gesture. so genuine!

Good hotel next to Jr station ”
Very new hotel, clean and very comfy bed., very value for money. Their breakfast was awesome, lots of seafood and had sushi train. The staff were very helpful especially the staff if not mistaken his name is Akira, he helped me to ring and sort out my Osaka hotel reservation. I will return to this hotel if coming to Hakodate.

Exceptional”
Superb hotel and staff I booked because of proximity to the station, expected standard services, but their hospitality was beyond expectation. Every staff I interacted with were very warm and no sub-standard services towards foreigners. Great view, new, fairly spacious, great services, superb location - I couldn’t ask for more for what we paid for. Thank you JR Inn Hakodate, please continue the great work.

Lovely stay at JR Inn Hakodate”
The staff was so helpful, one person in our group needed super glue to seal the broken shoe, the staff provided us assistance without hesitation. The hotel was super near the train station, making it super convenient to travel around. They had a pillow bar and an onsen at the top floor coupled with a lovely lounge. The room is cozy and clean.

Best hotel ever!”
One of the BEST hotels I’ve stayed at - for real! Literally above the JR station (1 min walk from the JR exit machines). Close to all the “things to do in Hakodate” - 3 min walk to the famous morning market, 10 min train to the Hakodate mountain ropeway, etc. Bathroom sink, toilet, and shower room are all in separate closed areas (best design EVER). If you’re traveling with companions, this is a MUST;)

It was perfect except the breakfast”
Everything was perfect. The room was unexpectedly large and well decorated. I love their spa and the resting area with free coffee and hundreds of Japanese comics were provided. However, the breakfast was disappointed. Since most of the hot dishes were cold.

Public bath was awesome!”
It was snowing and a little windy, but I chanced going to the outdoor public bath on the 12th floor. I'm glad I did. It was a very unique experience and something I was hoping for. Lots of choices at breakfast too. All in all a very good stay.

Excellent Hotel Located Next to Station”
An excellent value for money option in a relatively new hotel. Rooms are thoughtfully designed so it feels spacious given the size. There's a lounge area on the top floor which overlooks the bay with free coffee throughout the day. The outdoor Onsen area was also a huge plus. Highly recommended!

すごく良かったんです。駅からの近さ、おしゃれなインテリア、スタッフも優しいし、赤レンガ倉庫にも近し... 悪い点はまだ見つかってないです! 次のお泊りをワクワクしております。お楽しみです！ JR Inn Hakodate is super great. I've used their hotels in Sapporo and Chitose several times and they've always been my go-to hotel, despite the price. JR Inn Hakodate is only 10 seconds away from the station (only if there are no strong winds! Otherwise you will need to go through the main entrance and not the side door that's close to the hotel). Once you enter the building you can see that the hotel is very up to date and following for COVID-19 regulations. Hand sanitizer sprays from the entrance door, temperature checks, distancing, restaurant buffets (with the plastic gloves and guests having masks on when not eating). Kind of wished there has the alcohol sanitizer sprays on every level nearby the elevator, but that's just me (and probably costs the hotel more). The onsen is lovely. Its a moderate size, with a washing area, inside and outside pool. If you go to the outside pool you can see the train tracks and maybe even see them depart! There is also a parking lot nearby for 600 yen with usage from 14:00-12:00, unlimited. If you're lucky you can park in front of the hotel, otherwise there's a close by parking lot that is just a few minutes away around the corner. Definitely worth the money and stay. Kind of also wished they were more in the central area close to the red bricks but... can't complain since they should be next to the JR station.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in Hokkaido”
Very good hotel in Hakodate with the best location next to JR station. Many nice Japanese restaurants nearby with 24-hour convenience stores. Free big bath & onsen, there is a lounge outside on the 12/F which we can relax by taking a cup of coffee with a stunning city view of Hakodate. I will stay again when I have chance to visit Hakodate in the future.

I wasn’t familiar with the city so I booked this hotel right at the Hakodate station. I could walk to the Mt. Hakodate cable car station. Donburi Yokocho is right in front of the hotel so you can easily go to get breakfast or lunch. It’s not a luxury hotel but clean and great service. There are both inside and outside Onsen on the top floor.

Located next to the JR station, the JR Inn Hakodate had everything I wanted from a hotel. Clean and large rooms, indoor and outdoor onsen, great amenities including a pillow corner and a lounge with a great view, and free coffee.

Comfy designed hotel among hokkaido”
Separation of wet and dry section. Also the bed is by far the best i have tried in hokkaido hotels. I think you should give it a shot when you visit hakodate.
