A starting point to visit Kagoshima city”
Location is very good. You don't need to go outside of Kagoshima station to find it because there is the sign to lead you go to Hotel lobby directly inside station.

1 minute walk from the jr Kagoshima station. Short walk from bus terminal and tram. Staff can speak basic English and are friendly, rooms were well sized and maintained well. Overall a very good stay and value for money.

If you are a big size person beware ”
Hotel has no nice view. The lobby is beautiful but rooms like jailhouses and toilet bowl so close to the wall that if you are a male or big size, good luck. I got better room and service in Fukuoka than Kagoshima for half that price and was quite disappointed at the lack of services.

Best place to stay in Kagoshima”
I stayed at this hotel for one night with my wife. We were in town for our kids' swim meet that was taking place at the Kamoike Park Pool. The room was small, but clean, with a double bed. The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is connected to Kagoshima Chuo station, so it was literally a 1 minute walk from exiting the Shinkansen gates to get to the hotel entrance. The hotel lobby is beautiful, and the staff were attentive and polite (as always in Japan). And there were at least 3 staff at the front desk every time we walked by. To get to the pool, you can take a bus from bus stop 15 (located on the east side of the station). The number 11 bus goes straight there (15-20 min, ￥190 one way). The first morning we took a taxi, which took 10-15 min and cost a little over ￥1000. There is a really big gift shop just outside of the hotel exit into the station, with everything you could need in terms of gifts. A great place and will stay again!

We arrived in this hotel in the evening and we have been surprised pleasantly to find that the entrance was inside the railway station!!Lots of restaurants inside the station itself and near by Plaza shopping center. Cannot be closer. The staff speaks litle english but in the basics are OK. The rooms are small but if you ask for twin room with two separate beds (which are not offered in the internet booking ), than by paying a small surcharge you get a normal room. Breakfast 800 Yen extra. Buffet. Very good value. Kagoshima city is not that interesting and Sakurajima Island and volcano neither. Everything is far . you cannot go close to the craters. Mild interest, but now the Shinkashen line finished and is a temptation to reach the southernmost point with bulet train. Room Tip: ask for tle rooms with two separate beds. the so called "small double" are VERY SMALL!! See more room tips

The hotel location is excellent. It is extremely convenient both for shopping and transportation. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is new, the room is quite small but very clean. In every room, there is a computer providing free broadband. If I go to Kagoshima again, I will definitely stay here.

I stayed here 2 years ago I loved it I stay in Japan on my way to visit family in Australia. From Scotland I am in my eighties and this hotel is perfect It is part of the station with buses trams and shops on my doorstep Kagoshima a lovely town with the Kirishima national park with its many onsens nearby Hope fully I will be able to come again. We really liked our stays in this hotel because its one train ride to Ibusuki for the sandbath and onsen. While in Kagoshima, we went to Senganen Japanese garden and tried their famous black pork

Perfect location!”
The location is perfect!!! The hotel is just inside the JR station (the hotel entrance is at left hand side of the big souvenir shop) . The hotel staff is very helpful and help us to keep our luggage when we travel to Ibusuki. Though the room is a bit small, we still will choose this hotel for our future visit.

The location is absolutely excellent and connected to JR station. The big room is super clean and nice with a big toilet. If you have kids then you can enjoy a nice bath together such as hot spring style. I strongly recommended this hotel to everyone. Thanks.

Super convenient location with everything nearby in just 2 minutes walk! JR station and airport bus stop are right below the hotel. A new hotel of small rooms like most of the hotel rooms in Japan but good interior design allows more space for opening a big and a small baggages. Highly recommend!
