Filthy room! Confusing location! Very tiny room”
My friend and I stayed for 2 tonights. The building has a very good location, close to shopping areas and MTR but hotel itself was very difficult to locate. The ground floor is crowded with people, shops and retaurants. There are several evelators spread out around building which will take you to different hotel companies, no signages and elevators are not working properly, you have to queue for ages especially during peak hours. The hotel is under Marigold Hostel(which doesn't say on the sign, very confusing!), the reception is on the 11th floor but the actual hostel is on the 15th floor. The picture of the room is misleading! It was very tiny, it was difficult to enter, no room for a big luggage. The bathroom was uncleaned when we checked-in, there were some trash on the floor and a rug dumped with spilled coffee. The staff cleaned it immediately but not properly done. We were so tired so we didn't make a big fuss. I will never stay there again!!!

We booked Kabayan Hostel but it’s no longer there/closed. We were redirected to Marrigold Hostel as noted by the door. We went down to another floor only to wait for more than half an hour to wait for the staff to bring us to our new room. Then we went back to the ground floor to another annex (around 600 m) then waited for the lift which fits around 6 persons. The room was on the 16th floor so we climbed the filthy stairs with a lot of trash and pee - YES URINE! There’s also some stains on the walls that seemed like vomit. When we got to the unit, it was also dirty. The broom and the trash are all over the floor. The bedsheet has some black stains in it and the room was quite small. The room has a lock - just a regular one but the unit itself has an automatic lock system. Location: Chungking Mansions is a commercial/residential building which is located in the city center. There are tons of guesthouses/hostels in the building itself. There are also lots of people (mostly Indians) offering tourists a place to stay. It’s very close to the MTR stations and ferry terminal. The building is crowded and filthy - it could definitely use a lot of improvements. There are also a lot of nationalities in the area. Plugs are type G. Over all, we were not happy with our stay here. If you are on a tight budget, then you could stay here for the night but if you really want peace of mind during your vacation, I suggest that you book a hotel instead. You may spend a few dollars more but dont compensate the good memories you can make especially if you’re on vacation.

Kabayan Hostel and Marrisgold inn or london inn are just one and the same..we stayed at room 1706 and it was a bad experience..not working toilet bowl..i booked Kabayan Hostel room 1508 but instead swift to that awful 1706 as they have overbooked 1508.

The room is dirty . I arrived late and they provided me a double bed with one pillow and one blanket even if I paid for the triple room , beside that I complained and ask for the triple room twice they never have it to me and gave me reasons of why not . The fan is super dirty with so many dirt. Flash sometimes broken sometimes working . Tv as well but take note it's blurry tv bec there's no cable or anything . Pls don't expect , Agoda says it's in the 15th floor but all along the reception is in the 11th. Need so much improvement in cleanliness . Block D is hard to find at the beginning. Good things it's accessible to the MTR but that's all about it . Pls don't book any bigger room bec you will be charges higher but they will just give you a smaller room type

when we booked last year (2018) here we checked in before 1pm but still not ready because they said should be 1pm or pass 1pm will be there.. so we go out again then we ate first then we came back.🤷♀️ but when i booked for my sister this year (2019) i choose late checked in like 6pm so my sister will not wait long time. But I called them first to confirm that my sister is will be there at 6pm to 7pm and they said “until before midnight no problem” so i thought it’s ready the room for my sister but when my sister reached there how many time knocking the door, she wait long time there. I tried to call them again then the staff is in outside so my sister wait him outside of their hotel. Now, when they go inside. My sister still waiting again then how many times they transfer to other door.. so the ending she stay to the other hotel and the room so small and not clean the bathroom and some things is broken.. my money is not worth it for this.. i will not come back here anymore.

I pay 700 for 1 night .. I only exceed hours . Because they told me I can go out anytime tomorrow. People are very rude , I feel cheated . I deposit 100’ it was refundable. I should add 200 instead. I feel cheated . 😡😡😡

重複收費的黑店!”
只覺得受騙了，去到付現金再話冇房被安排去另一家酒店住，還要比之前訂購的價格貴了，check in完後，又在我信用咭扣多一次錢!到第二天check out 不退回現金給我，話叫客戶自己打去訂房公司處理返!態度非常恶劣!呢間賓館太可怕了。大家千萬不要住進這間黑店!! 。
