Pros: low-price, most of the facilities are okay, place is clean, location is great, I love that the check in procedure is simple. Just fill some column, and the staff will show you facilities and your bed before giving you locker key. Cons: there's too many peoples. The bed is okay, but bathroom, wastafel, and toilet might be a problem if you're in hurry. I forgot my facial wash in the wastafel and the staff found it and place it on the reception desk. If people who lost it found it, it will be okay I guess but someone else apparently took it. It really is no big deal, but this was my first in Japan. Still have no idea why someone would steal it 😅

Simple stay in a simple guest house”
Nice guest house situated in a convenient area. The rooms and common areas were practical for single travelers on a budget (free washing machine, kitchen). We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay.

Super easy-going place, no time limit on returning home. The room wasn't filled up, so was fairly quiet. Bed a bit hard but still slept OK. Laundry is free, dryer 300¥ (or there's a small space to hang your clothes). Great value. I just didn't enjoy the general vibe much, yet I can't quite explain why, just depends on the person.

Very convenient location, near JR Kagoshimachuo Station. Staff are friendly. 2 outlets are provided beside each bed. I suggest if they can have a shelf for guest placing small stuff, phone, eye glasses. I recommend thus hostel to budget travelers.

Had one of the worst beds ever in this hostels. Stayed for 3 days. Bed is rock hard and got back pain after the first night until i checked out. Sorry but I would not stay again due the lousy beds.

No eye contact just ignored you . Very crowded and dirty condition . Definitely not recommended. There was one man snoring for the whole night and I can't sleep . So bad experience

Only 5 min walk from Kagoshima Chuo Station ”
It was easy to find the Kagoshima Little Asia Guest House after asking the direction at the information desk of Kagoshima Chuo Station. I could sleep on the top of bunk bed, which I really enjoyed. Once I pulled the curtain around the bed, it became my own private space. I could change my clothes and organize my stuff in my bag on the bed. There was a wall socket beside my pillow. I could charge my cellphone during the night. Less than 2,000 yen per night is very reasonable if you want just to get some sleep. I'd love to stay there again if I have a chance to visit next time.

Super cheap and great location super close to Kagoshima Station. Facilities might not be the best but they are still tidy and clean, and satisfactory. For this price I would definitely stay there again.

You can cook there”
For low budget travelers. People stay there days or weeks. Family type, small but cozy. You can buy some real good meat or fish from a supermarket inside of the train station nearby and cook in the little asia house. You can meet some interesting Japanese and foreign travelers there.

A cheap hostel, near Kagoshima Chuo station, with everything you need to put down your luggage and explore the city or region. The staff is nice and also speaks English. I recommend this place for everyone who is looking for a cheap place to stay in Kagoshima!

It is very close to the main station. I appreciate the cleaness of the toilet and shower room, and also the comfortable bed and free coffee. Would choose there next time I visit Kagoshima.
