Very nice stay”
It was a very nice stay in Yuji inn. The owner is very welcoming and very kind and made us feel like home! It is nicely located in the bikan historical area. The check in was only starting from 4:30pm so we couldnt check in earlier and most of shops closed at 5pm so it would be great if the check in time was a bit earlier. The towel wasnt included in the price (50yen for a rental) with the price of the guesthouse, it would be nicer if the basic ammenities like towel were included in the price. But overall it was a memorable stay in Kurashiki at Yuji inn!

Exceptional”
The inn is just around 20min walk from Kurashiki station. It is inside the preserved area of Kurashiki. So, after a few steps, you'll be in the famous area already. Yuji-san and the staff this time ( Kyu-san?), were very friendly and accommodating. I felt like I was at homr with friends. It also helped that the guests at that time were all nice. It was such a nic stay. Next time, I'll tour around Kurashiki for a longer time and stay at the same inn. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The guest house is run by a couple, they are really nice and helpful. They not only helped me plan the trip and printed several transport timetables for okayami city and naoshima island, but also introduced traditional local food and delicious restaurants in Kurashiki. What's more, when I got my left foot hurt at Kurashiki, yuji-san and his wife gave me a bag of wound plasters and kindly guided me to the hospital for treatment. The Japanese style room is quiet and clean, located just beside the 星野仙一記念館. Here you can have your clothes washed and dried for free. If you spend 300 yen, you can enjoy the bread and toast with yuji-san handmade kiwi jam (there are also yogurt and butter) for breakfast.

Comfortable and cosy ”
We stayed at Yuji-inn for one night during our stay in kurashiki and absolutely loved it! Yuji was kind enough to let us drop off our bags in the morning for our day of sight seeing. His place is very well located in the beautiful old bikan district near local sights/shops/cafes. The Japanese futon was so comfortable - and yuji even provided us with hot water bottles during our stay! Would definitely recommend a stay at yuji-in to others 😊

Yuji Inn is located in 倉敷美觀 area. it's very convenient for sightseeing nearby. Clean. Hotel host is good to provide your info. For bed, you have to help yourself put clean sheet, and take it off to downstairs when check out. If you need to have a cup of water for drink or use hot water, it is necessary to go downstairs. There is no provision of hot water in 2nd floor. Toilet is japanese style in 2nd floor, but there is one western style in 1st floor. If it does not bother you much, it is a choice to stay.

We are late check in And just spend a night. The home stay provided every facilities. But the washroom is limited just 1 for woman & 1 for man, so need to wait for shower.

It's a great place. A bit pricey though for the shared toilet space. Initially was difficult to find but i asked the locals around and eventually found the place. Slightly further to the central bikan area but its quite ok if u got small luggages. ( I had a large luggage) Owner was great and friendly.
