We loved this place. The room was super small but we didnt spend much time in it anyways. The kitchen was well equiped and the washrooms were clean. We also enjoyed hanging out in the bar downstairs

Clean and nice hostel!”
I have been alone in the room, so maybe not the right time or not the right hostel to meet a lot of people. But it was really clean and comfortable. You can use a kitchen and the bathroom is also very nice. The air conditioner and heatener can be used by yourself. So you can decide about the temperature. Very nice staff. But I payed 24€ for it, this is very expensive for a hostel in a shared dorm.

A hip place to stay”
The hostel is about 10 minutes walk from Okayama Station. The front staff is very friendly and speaks fluent english, so communication won’t be a problem. They allow you to store your luggage at the lobby if you came early, so that’s a good thing. The room is kinda basic, and the bed is quite open (no curtains for the top deck) but it is acceptable for a place to sleep. My favorite part of the hostel is the lobby and the club jazz music they played which kept me relaxed and entertained until late night. Also I was quite lucky as they were hosting a staff party and I was invited to join in as well. Would stay again if I ever stop in Okayama.

would definitely stay there again next time. Located right next to a shopping alley with local shops, just 5 mins walk from Okayama Station, very quiet and peaceful. Staff are super nice. Rooms and showers very clean.

Nice place with good location!”
I love the design of this hostel and the club at the first floor. Just about 5 mins walk to Okayama station. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Only one negative thing is the door inside the dorm could wake you up at anytime. But if you sleep really tight and not easy to wake up, this may not be your problem. Anyway i like this place!!

5-7 mins walk from Okayama station ”
It is about 5-7mins walk from Okayama JR station. The lounge is nice. I lived in a female dormitory room. You can hear the noise from next door easily. So please prepare an ear plug.

Value for money Hostel”
One of the best hostel I have ever been in my life. Excellent facilities and the hostel is really clean too. Check in was fuss free. There is a market nearby which you can get fresh fruits and food as well.

Cash only!”
They didn’t take cards in this place, so don’t make the same mistake as I did, and have your entire stay in cash on you. They were so inflexible that I couldn’t even take my room, I had to go for cash immediately. At least I could leave the heavy luggage there. The closest atm was like 15min round trip away. The staff was not that service minded, maybe they have a lot on their plate given that they are running the bar and the kitchen as well. But first they forgot to give me towels. Then I paid for using the washing machine, and she didn’t tell me about buying the detergent separately, so I had to go down for that again (reception is downstairs). The beds are very basic, the curtain fell on my bunk-mate a dozen times. The rooms are very small, so if you sleep on top, and you want to take something from your luggage, you take up the entire space so others have to climb through you. The walls are made of paper, so you hear people laughing in the kitchen early morning. It’s fine, but I stayed in better places in Japan for the same amount of money for sure.

The place itself is really nice and hip - it was just disappointing how other people who stayed there would be so noisy even at midnight! Lost a night of sleep because of them! :(

The room is clean and tidy. The shower place and toilet and is clean and decent. The cafe downstair is nice. Value for money. The only negative thing is walking towards the hostle at night is a bit quiet and dark

The restaurant looks cooler than the rooms”
When you arrive at the hostel, you are welcomed in a very cool reception/restaurant that makes you say "wow, that's cool". The food I tried there was also very good and reasonably priced. Then I went upstairs to the dorm and I was kind of disappointed that the upper floor was not as cool as the lower. Having said that you've got everything you need: washing machine (no dryer but hangers), kitchen, lockers, etc. My bed was comfy but everything is very simple.

Good place though a little tiny ”
In general the place is good, I should only warn that inside the shared rooms, practically you only have space for the bed, there's barely a hall or where to put your luggage. Also, if you visit during cold season, the room it's a bit cold, but once you're inside the bed, is fine.
