Hotel is conveniently located about 8-10 min walk to Shin-Osaka station. The station exit to the hotel is a little further for JR lines, maybe another 5 min walk within the station. There is a convenience store near the hotel entrance. It’s a little quiet at night as we didn’t see any night spots or restaurants nearby. But you can get almost anything at the station if looking for F&B options & convenience stores. Hotel offers complimentary welcome drink & you can pick up the necessary toiletries (face wash, moisturizing lotion, comb, etc) you need from the lobby. Other essentials like shampoo, conditioner, bottled water, etc are available in the room. We took a connecting room for 4 adults & while space is a little tight, everything is neat & designed for efficiency. We used the washing machine (with auto detergent dispensing & dryer all in one), & while you wait for an available machine there are toilets & vending machines for drinks to keep you occupied. We also used the onsen. Really grateful for one coz not many hotels offer onsen facilities. We had an enjoyable & comfortable stay.

Clean, reasonable price, great location & hotel facilities”
- 500-600meters away from ShinOsaka Station - Very clean hotel and disinfecting/sanitation is being observed at all times - Hotel security is the great because you cannot enter the elevator if you have no assigned room key card. - freebies like facial wash, oil, moisturizer, lotion are readily available at the check out counter. Karaksa Hotel staff booked our luggages to a different hotel in Nagoya. However, they tried their best and succeeded to have it delivered at the correct hotel address. GREAT customer service indeed! Definitely, will book at this hotel AGAIN! Thank you Karaksa for your service!

First time to book this hotel based on our itinerary, we chose the hotel because we want an easy access to shinkansen station and to travel easily to and from kyoto and tokyo which is 15 mins away from shin-osaka station, facilities were superb, as for the room we had connecting room for 5 adults, given the notion that japanese hotels had quite small room area, its a great deal for this hotel to have connecting rooms especially if you are travelling with family members, rooms are actually are not that small we can freely roam around, toilet and bath are separate which is very helpful if you are traveling with groups, all the staff are polite and very helpful specially with special requests like baggage transfer, they also had unlimited stock of skincare and other necessities on their lobby in which hotel guest are free to avail, Japanese style buffet for breakfast is really delicious and healthy enough for our whole day sightseeing!, Lawson is also 2mins away from the hotel, shin-osaka station is 5-10 mins walk depends on how fast you walk. Will definitely book this hotel next time we go to japan😊😊😊😊😊😊

Convenient and clean”
Location is 5 mins walk to Osaka train station for easy access to different parts of Japan via both the Shinkansen and the local lines and metro lines. Hotel staffs are very friendly. They have at least one staff to communicate fluently in English and one in Chinese to address the concerns of guests. The hotel offers on sen facilities as well. The rooms are clean. The breakfast variety is good with slightly different dishes for different days.

Lovely stay at Karaksa. From Shin-Osaka station (Exit 4), there is a lift down to ground level which is very helpful because we had big luggages. From there it's a 5 min walk to the hotel and was easy to locate. Loveeee how friendly the staff was and they could speak English. Amenities provided downstairs like toner, face cleanser, cleansing oil, lotion etc. The hotel had a public onsen thing but we didn't utilise it. It also had a Lawson inside which was good because I got hungry at 11pm and didn't need to put on my coat to go outside in the cold to get food. Overall very comfortable stay, I loved it!!!!!!!!!

We love our stay here. The room is great esp. w the tatami area where we can enjoy chats w their great selection of beverages. Quality of toiletries is great too. And there’s no communication barrier as they speak good English. Will book their hotels again. ❤️

Hotel is classified as a three star. Felt like a four. It has brand new facilities and the onsen that it came with was very nice. The staff is fluent in English. It is a foreigner friendly hotel.

Close to Shin Osaka station. If you arrive by Shinkansen, take North Exit, go down escalator to level 2 and take the Osaka Metro exit number 4. Rooms are spotless, very new and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and promptly respond to request for assistance. Has all the facilities and amenities you'll need (Lawson at 1st floor).

The best for the value”
This hotel was very close to Shin-Osaka station and very convenient. I choose this hotel to stay with our teenage sons just for two days, but if I needed to stay longer I would. I am Japanese so I have high expectations for hotels here but our stay was even more excellent than I expected. The hotel offers everything you need, comfortable stay and very clean. I would recommend to anyone who wants to stay close to Shin Osaka. Thank you for your hospitality!!

Stayed with my family for two nights. The hotel is located about 5 mins walk away from Shin-Osaka stn. A room was clean. Amenity was well equiped. Relaxed at the bathroom at 4th floor. Morning was buffet and delicious. Our stay at here was perfect. Hope to get back when visiting Osaka!

Karaksa - A Hidden Gem”
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Karaksa Hotel Grande. From the moment we arrived, the staff was very welcoming. Whenever we had questions, even if the staff was not the most fluent in English, they tried their best to accommodate us. Although the room I chose for my boys and I was small, it was just what we needed because we were out of the room more than we were in our room. Every evening when we would return from our excursions, we had fresh linens, new pajamas and new masks for the day. Additionally, I would recommend the breakfast package. There was a multitude of foods to choose from even for your pickiest eaters. The food ranged from Asian cuisine to western staples. The location was ideal. Our walk to the Shin-Osaka Metro Station was less than five minutes. We were able to travel to Kyoto, Nara, Universal City in no time. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling.

We were really happy about our stay in Karaksa Hotel Grande. Location is just 5 mins away from the Shin-Osaka Metro (where JR -Shinkasen transfers are also located). We didn't expect it would be that cold when we arrived in Osaka so we appreciate the hotel's effort in providing guests with Free Body Warmers everyday. The hotel is also very clean (white clean sheets; no weird smells). I also like that they asked guests to choose if they would like the eco-stay option or the standard stay. Choosing the eco-stay will get you 1 coin/day = free drink at their vending machine. But more than the free drink, we appreciate their efforts to save the environment & involving guests in making this conscious choice too. Will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Osaka again.
