Magnificent View, Value for money!”
I loved my stay at Karuna Boracay Suites. Took the Mactan room. When I first stepped inside, the spaciousness and modern design pleased me, and then when I saw the balcony, the view took my breath away. I could see the sea from my bed! Exactly what I was looking for. The tanning chair in the balcony was a nice touch, looks good and feels good lying there. The bathroom was decent, bathtub was spacious and looked nice. As for the cons, nothing too serious as the pros greatly outweighs it for me. Upon arrival, tutuk driver had a little difficulty locating this hotel as it is quite new, and in a secluded area. The balcony is somewhat "shared" with other guest, as it is a long stretch separated by only 2 pots of plants in between different suites instead of walls, kinda took a little privacy away as we fear people venturing into our side and looking into our rooms. You could close the balcony doors and curtains though. Housekeeping was not ideal, you have to call them to make your rooms because it's not by default. And sometimes they give you new towels, sometimes they don't. Wifi is the room is erratic, toiletories are limited, but not too much of a problem. Overall, still a wonderful stay and I definitely would consider staying here again when I'm back at Boracay!

beautiful place to stay :) ”
It was our anniversary and Claire whom i was emailing was very prompt in her responses and made sure the room was set up for it :) beautiful roses petals and wine. I think we originally booked for the El nido suite but when we got there we had the Davao suite and O M G it was beauuuuufitul!! The view was amazing and the ROOM!! So clean and modern it was all too amazing! Please note that this suite is away from white beach.. and they offer an hourly shuttle that is always on time which ends at 12am. The staff were so friendly! I would also like to say a big thank you to Jeff for organizing activities for us and also getting back my partners go pro stick which he left at one of the islands. You have great staff working there! If anyone is looking to get away from all the noise and hustle from white beach this place is definitely somewhere to stay.

Condotel ”
Karuna is fairly new, for me its more like a condotel, they dint have room service or a restaurant, fortunately we had a kitchen and a dinning area in our suite which was the Biliran suite. the location is great! they need to update there pictures because the view right now is much better. (i think) boats are not allowed in the beach anymore because a lot of kite surfers are using the beach area. location is very quite which i like, the party place is on the other side of the island so if you prefer the part scene this place is not for you.

Best hotel in Boracay! ”
It would be better if the hotel could provide salt, sugar and oil. Coz if we get it from the store it would be a big pack and impossible for us to bring back the left to our country. And you can't expect us to bring all these by ourselves. Overall is good, love the room, and there's a shuttle to D'mall every hour, quite convenience. Love the quietly environment and especially the sea view room. Would be back to this hotel if I travel to boracay again.

We were more than impressed with everything at Karuna Resort. The staff were brilliant, cheerful, helpful and friendly. The rooms were exquisite. The only downside was no restaurant onsite but the regular free transport to the shopping area made up for that. I will happily come back and recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice hotel and professional staff”
It was my Honeymoon.:) We have 4 people live in a suit together. First of all , the hotel is not very big,no elevator,but don't need to worry about your luggage,staff will help. I kinda disppointed when I got there after a long way. It's about 3hrs from Kalibo airport. But when i came into the room，everythings same as picturs. Just the pool not big enough. Our room is near the sea,there is a perfect view outside. Every morning , you wake up with sunshine.Also the hotel is near the D'mall, you can walk there or take the shuttle for free.Not very far. Price is not expensive. I must say they are very enthusiastic. They will help you as much as they can. I will chose here again next time. Everything makes me unforgettable. I recommend this hotel!

Stunning view, best ocean view ever!”
Me and my boyfriend spent the last night at Karuna, we chose davao suite which include 2 bedrooms although just 2 of us because we were totally impressed by the ocean view photos posted by Karuna and all the single room was fully booked. The hotel is only 5 minutes ride from D Mall. After checked in, the super ocean view didnt disappoint us, the view is amazing. The suite also comes with fully equiped kitchen, we bought some grocery and food from grocery shop at the entrance of D Mall, and some lamb, sausage, bacon from a food stall (mostly frozen food) at the middle shop of D Mall, we had a wonderful candle light dinner at our suite. u can easily find wine shop at D Mall too.

Relax”
The location of Karuna is a bit far from the D'mall. But overall is nice coz very relax when stay there. And all the kitchen equipment and accessories is completed.. So you can cook urself. The hotel do not have restaurant. Sea view very nice....

Awesome hotel with great view”
Great view overlooking bulabog beach that is famous for kite surfing. Staffs are friendly too. Also, hotel provides hourly free shuttles to station 2 that takes 5-10 mins to get there. Nonetheless, hotel room is not sound proof and can hear anyone walking/talking on the walkway. This was made worse by having noisy neighbors who made noise late into night which disturbed our sleep.

very relaxing, epic view”
While this hotel offers stunning views, be aware that it is located on the opposite side of the island from the white beach, and has no restaurant. That said, if you plan well, you can take advantage of the free shuttle that runs every hour until midnight. We stayed in the Quezon suite and although it was pricy, it was well worth it. The view is spectacular, and its very spacious. The staff members were very friendly and it never felt crowded, in fact we barely saw other guests. We had the pool to ourselves during our last morning, but I would recommend using the pool in the afternoon after the sun has passed over. The free shuttle is just a five minute ride to the white beach and drops you off and picks you up right outside D mall which has many nice restaurants and shopping areas

Best memory for our trip! ”
We were pleasantly surprised by a free upgrade to 2-room suite as the one that we originally booked was 'under maintainence'. We booked 2 nights for our anniversary and they were extremely sweet to prepare some romantic gestures for us- a rose with a bottle of wine, lovely swan towels with flower pedals on bed and bathtub filled with warm water and flowers when we entered. The place was very clean and comfortable and we had great time just relaxing in the living room that's facing the sea (even though the water is not sparkling turquoise). Staff was generally friendly. Not much facilities but we couldnt bear to leave our room anyway. Location was a little inaccessible but all is good with hourly shuttle buggy to D'mall in less than 10mins. Thanks for the memorable stay! We love it there so much!

Nice hotel that's value for money! ”
Overall it was a great stay. Although we didn't get the sea view, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice the hotel room was, and that there were so many things like oven, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, stove, coffee machine, iron and ironing board etc. It'll be perfect for families. There's also good wifi access from the room and a tv with cable. Since it's not situated at White Beach, it's much less crowded, more quiet and peaceful which I quite liked. There are hourly shuttle to d'mall everyday and the traveling time was only about 5 mins, so location wasn't an issue. But there's no food options in the vincity so we had to go to d'mall to settle our meals. For the price we paid, I think it's well worth it!

Amazing View”
Celebrating my birthday in this place was really amazing. Great view from El Nido suite and the room was tidy and comfy. Thumbs up to this place! Will go back for sure. Hope they can extend free shuttle on a 24-hr basis and free breakfast. Kudos!

Unforgettable staying experience”
We had a great staying experience at room El Nido. The bed is facing sea, we can enjoy sunrise view in the morning and stars at night. You may go to roof top for better view of the beach. Washing machine and cooking utensils are provided. Strongly recommend for couples to stay.

2 Nights stay”
Had booked thru Agoda. The problem is that the picture they show in the website is picture from other sea view rooms. Bohol is not a sea view. It's actually facing nothing at the back of the hotel. Advise all travellers if you book thru Agoda, please find out from the main hotel if its the actual room. Nevertheless, the manager is very helpful and grateful for her to upgrade my bohol room to cebu suite which had a very nice sea view. appreciate that. overall staff is very nice and it's been a pleasant stay for 2 nights.

Great View”
Staying at Bagtangas Suite for 2 nights. Great ocean view from the masterbed room, the guest room is kinda small. Just enough for 4 person, if got extra person; only a mattress is provided. Free shuttle tuktuk in an interval of 1hr to D'mall, travel distance is only abt 5-8mins. Overall stay was good!

Good view, comfort still need to improve ”
The pillow is too soft and the main point is the blanket just a thin cloth you can't even says it was a blanket. Staff tell me that their hotel just operate for 9 month but many of the place were leaking water and also the aircon. There was no restaurant inside Karuna but they got prepare basic kitchen equipment (dishes, pan and also pot) for us to cook breakfast. They also prepared shuttle service to Dmall for every hour (7am to 12 midnight)

Could be better ”
Overall, it wasn't bad. However, there are a few things they could improve on. First, they need to get a AC that can handle the size of the suits. The suits are rather large but the AC is a tiny wall mounted unit designed for a space 1/5 the area. Our AC was cranked on full blast all day and night just to make the room barely cool. And at night, the coils froze over making the AC fan spit out water and ice all over the bed where we were asleep. The other problem is the cleanliness. It's clean as long as you don't look too closely. If you do look under or around things, you might be grossed out by the amount of dust and junk. Also if you look at the shiny surfaces, you'll noted streaks and smudges. Definately could do with a little more attention to details. The final thing was the bugs. Our suite had so many ants. We finally figured out they were coming in from the balcony. So we used wet tissue to plug up the drain holes in the sliding door frame. This helped out a lot. So there you go. Not a perfect place, but not bad either. However, I won't be staying there again. White beach is so much more convenient. If you are looking for quite, then go further up station 1 or 3.

Probably better if you get a ocean view suite”
We got a garden facing suite which was far from perfect: workers (not staff) would stare inside the room forcing us to close the blinds. The service is ok and they clean the room thoroughly, including washing the dishes you might have left in the sink. If we had gotten am ocean facing suite, I think the whole experience might have felt much better,
