"Stayed 8 nights at this hotel with my elderly mom. My mom had to use a wheelchair or walker, but the staff was always very understanding and helpful. My mom had stomach issues during the trip and the kitchen staff made "okayu-rice porridge" for my mom for 5 straight days. Only a general warning to travelers using a wheelchair. Japan IS NOT a wheelchair friendly place. There are handicap restrooms in public places (which my mom loved), but the hotel rooms typically have a step-up configuration to get into the bathroom, which was really hard on my mom. Also not all train stations have elevators. Some may only have escalators. Try going up an escalator with a wheelchair. But this is not a negative on the hotel. Just a commentary about traveling in Japan with a wheelchair."

"It's just a short walk from Kashiwa station. And the area around it is full of restaurants, convenience stores and shops so finding a place to eat isn't a problem. The staff are nice, always greeting you with a smile. There are lots of complimentaries too so if incase you forgot something such as toiletries, you don't need to buy them. Room is very clean and cozy. Good wifi connection too. I recommend this hotel if ever you'll stay in Kashiwa."
