Best budget accommodation”

The host is very kind. Great location. Bus station (to Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Penang) nearby, Pizza Hut and supermarket as well. Rooms are simple and nice but don't take rooms besides showers, because you will hear people showering in the morning and it might wake you up and for hot water you must wait more time than usual otherwise the price is low so we can overlook it.

Good hostel, basic, gym a fun addition, great loc, grumpy staff”

Pretty good. Gym is fun. Loc is great. City is nice, with a few interesting museums and a useful place to stock up for working travellers like ourselves (stationary mostly, the hostel is next to a stationary shop). Guy was pretty grumpy and unhappy - got the vibe he was just sick of looking after tourists. He was hardly ever their and would lock up when he left, which means you couldn't get in to the hostel common area (library, gym, couches). Otherwise hostel is good. Other than gym, no standout features, but solid all round. The roof top has been neglected, its now a swampy smokers/garbage dump up their, so avoid that haha. Cold showers, but its Malaysia so who cares.

The host was very helpful and provided all the necessary information. Great location right next to the bus terminal. Nice little gym for some workout and cute roof top terrace. The facilities need some work since they are pretty worn down, however everything was clean.

Its ok for 1 night stay for any transaction of bus and others.. wifi is ok.. a bit scary for first time backpacker especially women..but the reception is nice..

Usually, It doesn't required to book primarily. They have empty bed all the time. It is slightly cheaper than agoda actually.

OMG!”

This is without doubt the worst place I have booked ever through Agoda. I dont even know where to start. I could write a whole chapter on all the deficiencies - but I will keep it brief as I simply dont have time to go into the details. 1. Cockroaches in the bathroom. 2. Rat rustling in the bins on the stairs. 3. The foulest smell of sweat and unwashed sheets and bed emanating from the dorm. 4. The toilets were a total disgrace. How you were supposed to wash after a number 2 with a plastic pipe attached to a tap that was a good meter from the toilet itself is a mystery and required some imagination and the skills of a gymnast! 5. The keys to the rooms didn't fit properly and had to use all my patience to get in and out of my room. 6. Wifi - Forget it - didn't work at all! I really considered changing hotels, but endured the night and got out as quickly as possible the next morning! On a slight positive note - the owner was polite, friendly and tried his best to please. I would like to say it was the closest I have come to realising a part in Faulty Towers!

Lorsque nous sommes arrivés vers midi le "propriétaire" nous a annoncé qu'il n'y avait plus de chambre mais qu'il nous en avait réservé une autre dans un hôtel voisin. Je suis allé voir la chambre mais elle ne comptait que un lit une place et un de deux places or nous sommes 4. Je l'ai fait remarqué. Il semblait sceptique. J'ai du lui montré ma resta déjà payėe. Il a dit qu'il ferait ajouter un lit. Nous sommes rentrés en fin d après midi et il y avait par terre un vieux matelas tout sale et une paire de draps. Donc pas de 4ème lit mais un matelas par terre. Je suis descendu voir les gens de l accueil de l hôtel en leur expliquant la situation. Ils ont contacté le propriétaire du KB backpacker qui est venu. Il ne comprenait pas pourquoi nous n étions pas contents. Je lui ai dit il n'y a pas 4 lit ici mais 3 lit ainsi qu matelas. Donc 4 places pour dormir dont une très inconfortable. dans cet hôtel de substitution au passage pas terrible avec chambre très bruyante donnant sur une rue fréquentée il y avait des chambres 3 et 6 places. Il me semble que la logique compte tenu de la situation était de nous donner en compensation une chambre de 6 places mais il n a pas voulu. ue.

Zeer matige kamer gekregen zonder raam. Zeer dunne muren met open venster aan de gang kant. De Lodge heeft dringend zzb opfris beurt nodig. Het personeel is er vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam.
