it was in a fantastic location!! not only this, the property was lovely! a lovely little kitchen and living room in the same area with a bedroom and en suite in a separate room upstairs! was so clean and was just a phenomenal place to stay and am so so impressed. me and my girlfriend would love to stay again! quick replies from the host to enquires that I had and was so so impressed. lovely 2 night stay! many thanks for having us and really hope we can stay again soon!!!

access was tricky- 3 keys - found the front door key difficult- then had to use a key to go from lounge to bedroom etc- so a bit odd. also smell in the ensuite of sewage- when we arrived the windows were open - so I think they must be aware- I did text the owner to let them know- but no reply to my text.

I didn't like this booking

Not a private apartment - I have raised this to the attention of booking.com but they're unwilling to change this listing. This is a shared house with 2 bedrooms, steep and narrow stairs, TV is not in the bedroom but in the shared living/kitchen space. Bedroom listed as Castle View, with no view of the castle but of a residential road. Bed sheets were left unchanged from the previous occupants but pillows cases changed. Pillow cases, duvet and mattress are without protectors. Red liquid stains up the wall behind the bed- hope this is wine? Shared images with the host and no reply. Carpets throughout the shared hallways are heavily water stained. Shower cubicle has got a hosepipe nozzle fitted through the wall. Raised my dissatisfaction with host and then booking.com - no resolve. I couldn't stay here, I booked an alternative place to stay.

had all the facilities you could possibly need and very well laid out living and kitchen space. it is in a great location in the old part of kenilworth right opposite the castle. the host Daniel is very quick to respond to emails and there is a mobile to call in the event of any problem (which I did not need to use !). really good value for money.

central location round corner from castle and near restaurants. It had a very acceptable kitchen.

Heating, WiFi and TV we’re working on arrival but were fixed by the owner one and a half days after complaining. fortunately it wasn’t too cold and I had my own mobile.

Location was perfect for us (close to the venue for an event my partner was attending and to several good restaurants). Spacious bathroom and excellent shower. Separate living room was a bonus as we had some time to spend in the apartment. As we booked at quite short notice, the price was very good in comparison with other local options.

The description should include the fact that the two rooms are on different floors, linked by a corridor shared with the other apartment and steep, narrow stairs with low ceiling and no handrail. We had read reviews and were aware when booking, but it would not be suitable for anyone with reduced mobility, especially handling large bags. Awkward entry through two doors. "Castle view" is a stretch!

The apartment was not very clean and the bed was broken underneath . The bathroom door didnt shut properly . The front door was the only exit out and was difficult open not ideal in an emergency .

What I do have a problem with is that I had paid £143 and not had it refunded- as far as I know. When I contacted the owner about it, there was no reassurance that it is going to be refunded, through no fault of my own

I was attending a course at Stoneleigh and Kenilworth is nearby and is a pleasant location. The apartment had been created in good taste in the past and was comfortable but it is now looking tired and needs refreshing. I could not understand how to work the electric cooker and could not see any instructions. It was clean enough but looked like it had been cleaned by a man as the attention to detail was missing! Eg the sponge in the kitchen sink was not clean. However for the money, it was good value.

From memory the description of the apartment was misleading. The kitchen/sitting room is a lockable room off a stairway and the bedroom/bathroom was also a lockable room off the stairway. There was a third door which looked like another apartment and so I thought I might meet other people on the stairway. In this sense the apartment was not separate and being a single female I did feel vulnerable. The entrance was through two doors off the street and the doors were very close together at the foot of the stairway . It was difficult to get through with my suitcase as there was not much room. The stairway could have done with a good vacuum clean so it was not a first good impression! I believe the description also said there was parking. I assumed this would be private parking but turned out to be a choice of parking on the road nearby or in a free public car park nearby.

Location was fantastic. We were visiting the castle which is just across the road. Deli underneath the apartment run bu the appt owner. Pub next door excellent.

The difficulty getting through the front door as it opened inwards and the inner door that opened outwards with a suitcase!!

Facilities were great. Fully kitted kitchen and comfortable living area with TV. Coffee and tea supplied. Upstairs there was a Comfortable bed and large bathroom. Close to restaurants and next door to deli.

Not something owners can change, but visitors need to watch their heads. It’s just the nature and age of the cottage with low ceilings in some places. The front door and inner door were a little difficult to negotiate with luggage

It was very well positioned for visiting family. Self contained apartment. Nice Deli Cafe will wonderful food and service!
