Overnight Visit”
Booked for an overnight stay, whist we enjoy two days of activities in London. Hotel conveniently was located close to shops, buses and trains and easy to find. Room was very small and in the basement, but had all facilities. TV, hospitality tray, fridge and even microwave! Bed was comfortable and water was always hot for washing and showering. Breakfast was ample, being of the continental variety. Cereals, sliced peaches, sliced bread, warm hard boiled eggs, sliced ham and cheese, selection of jams, honey and chocolate spread. There was a toaster to cook the bread and coffee filtered in abundance. Tea and hot chocolate were also available. Excellent value for money, considering it’s location.

excellent stay, we will come back”
Even if the room was a little small, we had an excellent stay, a very generous breakfast, excellent value for money. We will come back If there was an improvement to be submitted, it would be a separation between the Italian shower and the toilet. Indeed, it is impossible not to soak the part

Cheap London accommodation, perfect for a budget traveller”
As noted on other reviews, the rooms are small but as you are only there to sleep it shouldn't be an issue. If there were two people in the room you'd want to be a couple with only one suitcase between you, the shower was in the room, and only space on the floor for one suitcase to be laid down. Hotel is in a good location, quite safe to walk to late at night and in a city like London it is good value.

I chose this hotel mainly because of its proximity to Westfield shopping centre and the Shepherd Bush station where easy access to Central London is available

Value for Location”
The location of this hotel is great as it is close to Shepherd's Bush Train and bus stations, shopping center and eating--there's even a bus stop right outside the door. It is relatively close to Hyde park though it is quite a walk--or a relatively short run if you are a jogger. The rooms are quite small though but the breakfast provided though humble. was adequate in my opinion. I would stay there again given the value of the location and overall offerings.

To repeat as soon as possible”
Hi Everybody! I spent one week in London in December 2013, the week before Christmas… Initially I was not sure to reserve in this hotel ‘cause I read bad feedback about this hotel and for my husband was his first time in London. But then I did it ‘cause I know London and I know what to expect or not. I was pleasantly surprised!!! The hotel outside is very nice, in a very good neighborhood of Kensington, 500 mt from Shepherd's Bush Tube stations (Circle Line). The room was just a little bit little but I was on holiday…I needed a clean bed to sleep, a bath…and what else??? The room was clean and had a beautiful view outside, every day cleaning of the room and clean towels. Thanks God there is no moquette on the floor, and it’s very strange in London!!!! ;) Inside the room there is a serviceable kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, toaster and a kettle. The bath was clean and very nice. The breakfast was very rich for me, maybe ‘cause I’m Italian and we don’t use to eat a lot for breakfast. Hard-boiled eggs, cheese, toast, corn flakes, muesli, 4 kind of jam, butter, milk, coffee, tea, juices… All the staff was very kind, smiling and friendly! Sure I save this hotel as a favorite. Recommended!

Good decision for tight budgets”
We were a group of 5 people and stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. I could say that we were quite satisfied with the hotel, excellent location, clean and warm rooms, quiet backyard, friendly staff. The only problem we faced was that the rooms were really tiny - there was no space for the suitcases in the triple room some of us occupied. Overall, however, we had a good experience with Kensington Suite.

Friendly, great value”
Quirky hotel with warren-like layout. Great to have ensuite and breakfast at this price (albeit the wetroom was a little musty. Air con. Plenty of tea & coffee and useful microwave in the room. Curiously, the fridge also in the room didn't work because the power cord was too short to reach the socket!

decent place for short stay”
The hotel is a little bit outside the city (Sheperd's Bush station) and is about 10min walk from nearest Tube station (there's a Bus that can be boarded at Tube station, but did not know this until quite late). The room is quite small for the price I paid, not sure what the standard in London is but compared to the price in Germany definitely I expected a bigger room. In terms of cleanliness, the hotel staff did a good job of making sure the bed and the shower are clean. Towels and soap are provided. Hairdryer as well. Do note that they charge almost for everything else. WiFi is not free. Leaving luggage at receptionist is also not free. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but I strongly feel I should be able to get more from the price I paid.

You pay for what you get”
I made a last-minute change on my booking. This hotel is quite easy to find and about 8 mins away from Shepherd's Bush tube station and Westfield. The surroundings are quiet and safe for a single traveller. The single room that I had was very small, I could barely open my suitcase. I stayed in room 35, good thing they have an elevator, so I don't have to carry my luggage up 3 floors. The decoration in the room is very tiring, wall paint is peeling and needs a serious repainting done. During my 4-night stay, it was pouring for 1 of the nights, when I woke up in the morning, the end of the bed is seriously soaked, the whole bedroom floor was wet, glad I had my hard luggage and my items inside didn't get soaked. For the breakfast, it's from 7am to 9am. I went there at 7am cos I have a tour booked for 7:20am; the ladies told me they were not ready and asked me to wait, 5 mins later, they still wouldn't let use their breakfast. I just barged in and said I just needed to make toast and a cup of coffee and eventually they let me. Well, if your breakfast session starts serving at 7am, then be ready by 7am, not 7:10am. Same thing happened the next day, but they knew who I was and didn't stop me from making toasts and coffee. Overall, it's really what you paid for. A hefty price will be charged for both wired and wireless internet connection and even left luggage! I eventually dealt with the internet issue by using the free wifi at Westfield Mall. I wish they would seriously improve their standard of service.

Good location”
Staff didn't really do anything and the room was very tiny. We were right by the kitchen so got woken up early. I think the room was very overpriced but then so is all of London. Good location though, right by the big shopping centre and only a short walk to a tube station. Breakfast was good. Unlimited toast and eggs. At leat the room was clean and was quite cozy as it was very cold outside

perfect for one night stay”
I booked this hotel in the morning of the same day, so got good value for moeny! If you'r staying at this hotel do not get off at Olympia Stadium Station (Overground) as I did, rather use Shepperds Bush Station which is closer and easier! Hotel is ok, bedroom as really samll but clean and tv was good, perfect fo rone night stay. I did not enjoy breakfast though as room is very cramped and in order to get a toast you need to wait for ages as other people are in the queu as well. It's full of italian tourist lol! A hotel that promise more than it can live up to”
We arrived late, so when we complained about the standard of our room to the night reception clerk, he couldn’t offer us anything else. We had booked a double room, that on the photos we had looked at, seemed to be quite reasonable. But we couldn’t apprehend, that the room only was 7,5 m2 and the bed only 1,2 meter broad and that was intended for two adults. We couldn’t sleep at all. In the morning, the owner was sitting in the reception, and he was quite insolent, and couldn’t offer us any other room. So we cancelled our reservation and paid the owner £90 cash as the owner were shouting that we could cancel our reservation and wanted to get full payment for the four days we had booked.
