Great location and great value!”
Since we were checking in late after the front desk had closed (it closed early due to the holidays), staff conveniently left the key at the front desk for us and emailed the information to access the property. They were very prompt and friendly with information available in English. The property was clean and relaxed with an excellent location right next to Sensoji. This is a nice property, and I’d stay here again. We used one of the private bunkbed rooms for a pair, and it had a lot of outlets available for each bunk and an air conditioner that you could freely adjust. I’d highly recommend this place! Really good value and good location and staff.

I have never had so much fun with great people ”
This place is amazing. The staff, Yona, Thi Thi, Bagi, Ríe are sooo nice. We had dinner parties and played the super famicom with Jenga too. The view from the top floor is amazing and the kitchen and bathroom are clean. The best thing is the staff. I am sad to say goodbye. Even the people staying in the hostel were really amazing too! Best hostel we stayed in.”
This hostel was a treat. The 8th floor lounge area provided a lot of space to relax after a long day or to sip (provided) coffee or tea. It is next to the temple, Orange street and lots of eateries. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and allowed for a good amount of privacy in the allotted space. I highly recommend.

Great location!”
We absolutely loved the location of the hostel. It's located right at the back of Sensoji temple, which was great because we were there during new year and in Japanese culture people usually visit the temples on new year's day. The temple area had soo many food stalls, which we absolutely enjoyed. In terms of transportation, the hostel was very close to the Asakusa line and the Ginza line. Asakusa line also goes to Narita Airport without transferring, which was very convenient. The hostel staff was friendly and very helpful. Overall, I would stay here again in the future.

Clean, simple hostel ”
Around a 10 min walk from the closest subway station, through the nakamise shopping street & sensoji shrine, not a bad walk unless you have lots of luggage (don't bring a lot of luggage to Japan, you have to walk a lot). Washrooms were shared, and very clean. Laundry (dryer/washer) was available for a fee (200 yen to wash, 100 yen/20 min to dry) & includes detergent. We had to make our own beds & bring the sheets down, no shoes inside the rooms! Minimal shower things available (only shampoo, body wash, & hair dryer); can rent towels (50 yen each), I wish they had conditioner. Employees were very friendly! Lobby was nicely decorated! I would definitely stay here again, although the walk is a bit far from the subway station, it was close to many stations & a short walk to a major shopping street!

Exceptional”
great place, just across the temple and 10 min walk to the park and nearby malls. staff are very friendly and can speak english well. they have all the information you need as a traveller (map of asakusa, train lines with rates and schedule. they even serve free light breakfast. definitely recommended and will book again if I am to go back in Asakusa.

I enjoyed my stay there very much as the place is clean and the staff very nice and helpful.”
I find the price is rather expensive for a bunk bed for two persons and shared bathroom. Additionally there was major construction nearby and it was really noisy until late at night. I had to use my headset to block off the noise before I can sleep.

Here is my comment. 1)Location It will reach to this hotel by within 8 minutes walking from Sasakusa station. And the location is a back side of Sensoji temple, so it is very close near and very convenient to visit to Sensoji and to enjoy some shopping around here. Additionally, the shop of Don quijote (Donki) is within 10 minutes walking from the hotel, so you can enjoy to have the chance to find the valuable products, and Donki provides the Tax free service, so it would be benefited for the foreign people. 2) Facility I like their facilities as followings, a)Digital TV has the capability to connect to the Internet, so I can see 'You Tube' with so BIG display, so I had much more fun than the smart phone size. b)There are the open space with more than 10 Tatami mats and low tables at 8th floor, so it makes Japanese people to have more relaxing and for the foreign people to have a good experience to touch the historical Japanese culture. c)Shower at bathroom It provides the nice and comfortable shower water pressure by Arromic's shower head, that provides the nice wake-up to us. 3)Cost performance The total cost performance would be the number one position in downtown Tokyo's hostel category, so I recommend to stay at Khaosan origami and the other Khaosan group hotel/hostel in Tokyo as well. And when I checked out as of 26-9-21, the staff gave the small gift to me, that includes the candy, chocolate, and the heart shaped Origami that's very cute, and I felt their hospitality. Why I love Khaosan.”
I am a long stay guest at Khaosan Tokyo Origami and have been staying at other Khaosan's. I really like the Khaosan hotels cause the staff is just awesome. Friendly, funny, helpful and I always end up befriending several of them. The location of all the Khaosan is also really good since they all are in and around Asakusa, one of my favorite area in Tokyo. Khaosan Tokyo Origami is the new "kid" on the block and feels fresh and modern. The staff is like in all the other of Khaosan hotels, friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. The "capsule" like beds in the dormitory area is quite spacey and you have plenty of room to put up your stuff like laptop, phone and what you want. 3-4 outlets is also available where you sleep. The view from the 8th floor is just amazing, you have a view out over the Senso-ji temple area. The 8th floor have a large kitchen area with 2 stoves and sinks. 2 computers for the guests to use, a big screen TV and a tatami area to relax at. I am glad I staying long time here cause it starts to fell like home.

Hospitable Staff and Great Accommodation”
I’d definitely recommend Khaosan Tokyo Origami to my loved ones should they ever wish to visit Japan. The rooms are very clean and secure (they provide lockers in the rooms). They also provide indoor slippers! How convenient is that. Another commendable feature of the hostel is their free breakfast! It’s just simple (bread, jam, soup, tea, coffee) but it’s surely filling. :) Their showers also have shampoo and shower gel provided. They have a hairdryer in the bathroom. :D The staff are also so kind!!! Whenever we have questions, they’re always so enthusiastic! Overall, the hostel is really nice and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who plans on going to Japan. Affordable and neat! :)

The only hostel to stay at while in Japan”
This was my first time to Japan and had a complete blast. Khaosan Tokyo Origami was a part of that experience and glad they could provide accommodations for me. The vibe and look of the place was really pleasing. Everything was very organized and easy to follow if you are unfamiliar with how a hostel works. They have washer and dryer if you need to clean clothes and a big social area on the top floor that has a kitchen and an excellent view of the neighborhood. Cannot recommend these enough if you're in the Taito area or just looking to stay in Tokyo in general. Definitely plan to book with them again next time I travel to Japan.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, free breakfast and mobile phone”
We stayed at the Khaosan Origami for 14 nights in a four person private room. There was free breakfast from 6 to 11 am and even a mobile phone which you could use for free with mobile internet. The hostel itself was a very nice place and the staff was very friendly and helpful if you had any questions. I think there is nothing more to add to other reviews on agoda. Everyone of us was very pleased with our stay at Khaosan and would definitely choose this hostel again if we visit Tokyo again some day.

Excellence stay in Tokyo”
Location is Great, near Subway station direct to or from Haneda airport. Few step from sensoji temple, nakamise street, malls, souvenir shop, convinience store, ATM, halal resto... Room is comfy, kitchen is superb !!!, toilet and bath room very clean, Laundry (never use ^^), staff are super friendly, speak good english and helpfull. They give you lots of usefull information, especially i’m very thankfull for the halal food and shops info around asakusa.. I arrive early before Check in time, but they let me to use the kitchen and the shower room.. Recommended!!!.. i’ll definitelly will stay there again on my next visit in Tokyo

Clean & Friendly”
Right next to Sensoji temple and Asakusa markets this was a great place to explore Tokyo. Although it was quite far from other popular areas or nightlife (like Shinjuku or Roppongi) this was not too bad as the station was only 5-10min walk away. The Sky Tree and 'Electric Town' were not far. Recommend you go to 'Happy Street' in Asakusa for traditional sashimi/sake for a local atmosphere or try any of the side lanes for ramen or dumplings etc. The hostel was clean and comfortable and friendly and only opened a few weeks ago.

Perfect Place for Travellers”
This is perfect place to stay in Tokyo in budget. The location is only 60 meters from Asakusa Temple. I can take pictures Asakusa in the night when there is no people there. Perfect base for exploring Tokyo because it is near Subway Station.

Located next to Asakusa Senshi-Ji Temple, walking distance to the famous Tokyo Sky Tree, in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by local bakery, convenience stores and lots of traditional Japanese restaurants. Friendly staff, all speak English well. It was so much better than expected!

I love everything here. The hotel is lovely & clean. Excellent location. I have a childhood very love Japanese comic books, when in Origami came out to the streets and walk to Sensoji Temple, I really feel like I'm stepping on every page of the comic book :) The staff you support well.
