The hotel is vary near the bus stop Mt.Fuji Yamanakako (Hotel Mt.Fuji Iriguchi). However, the bus will be come every hour from there (first bus start ~ 8:20 am in weekend, the last bus maybe 6-7:00+pm) You can walk to 7-11, and Lawson as well. The restroom and bathroom is clean. The staffs are so nice.

Homely Traditional Ryokan”
Kikuya guesthouse is conveniently located near Lake Yamanka-ko and there is a bus stop located right at the doorstep of the ryokan. Upon arrival at the ryokan, the lady owner greeted us warmly and help us clean our luggages and provide us the room key and introduce us to the facilities of the ryokan. The room allocated to us is a Japanese style room, equipped with air-conditioner that effectively warm up the room during winter. The guesthouse also have an in-house restaurant that serves meal throughout the day, we had dinner at the restaurant and it gives us a homely feel. Lake Yamanaka-ko is just 3 mins walk away and there are convenient stores near the guesthouse. The only downside is that the shower room and toilet are really cold to step in during winter day. Overall, nice stay at Lake Yamanaka-ko area.

A doesn't cost too much great place for traditional local japanese experience”
Great location that can easily access to everywhere whereby the express bus that we took off from shinjuku station stop just next to the hotel. 5mins walk to Lake Yamanakaku 7mins walk to 7-eleven 9 or more mins to other restaurants and hot springs. Highly recommend to visit the house riding school that located about 15mins walk from hotel, you can get more details and leaflet for other attractions on the hotel piano. A very clean tatami and traditional futon bed, totally feel like staying where the cartoon Doraemon and Nobita stayed. A small smoking area for smokers. And a shared traditional bath with hot tub experience downstairs of the property, which can allow you and your partner and family get a great taste of traditional japanese group shower experience and their living style. Run by friendly family that try their best to serve and assist you. Overall very happy to stayed in and will definitely go back again.

My stay at kikuya ”
This hotel is very good, i like the room and the nice staff. Thumbs up for the bath room totally love it. There's 2 problem thou, lack of direction to go to the hotel, i stop at the wrong bus stop and had to walk about 4km to the hotel. And the staff should learn a bit english. But overall i really love the ambience, ps you could see fuji in a clear day awesome.

We enjoyed experiencing the traditional rooms. The staff gave us a very good welcome. We were able to see Mt Fuji from the front of the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Good location, helpful stuff, nice room”
The stuff was very helpful but unfortunatelly they don't speak English , free very small onsen for your use, good location, close to the bus station and lake Yamanaka. The breakfast is served but it is not included to the price per night. In there cafe you could try nice ramen.

Clean and comfortable Fuji Rocks !”
Stayed one night here, enjoyed it a lot and had a nice room, classic Japanese style and was snug in the futon bed (middle of winter). Woke up to a majestic view snow capped view of Fuji from the bedroom window. The hosts were friendly and helpful.Shared toilet and bath but had it to myself whenever I needed it. Had the idiots in the next room (Europeans) who kept turning on and off the light at 4am and taking (no common sense), kept us awake. I complained to the manager who was apologetic but a free breakfast could have been forthcoming. Clean and comfortable stay but be prepared that the other clients are likely to be backpackers/budget travellers which may affect your stay a bit, otherwise I was satisfied.

Excellent service, comfortable room”
We were worried about the transport of accessing to the hotel from Shinjuku, and made a call to ask for help. The staff has been very patient and the drop off point of the highway bus is right next to the hotel. Room is clean and comfortable, feeling thankful for offering such nice experience after the long journey. :)

Great Place for a traditional tatami styled Ryokan”
Great location, just a few steps away from the Yamanaka Lake of Mt Fuji, morning walk along the lake side was great with tranquility & serenity, along the road there are many restaurants & 7_eleven, view of Mt Fuji from our window, was lucky these few days with clear sky, Mt Fuji was so near to us. Tasty Japanese food from their restaurant on 1F

Exceptional”
I just stayed for one night. It is really easy to find the location which is just next to the bus stop. Staff cannot speak English well but it is not really a big problem for me. Can see the Fuji mountain but sadly it was raining during my stay. I will definitely come back again.

Nice place but uncomfortable for transportation ”
it was a really good view with the lake view infront and fuji mt.behind even it was not that clearly because of the tree were covered however,,place is easy to find food causing the restaurant is there and also a few minutes by foot to seven eleaven.. Everything is quite good only the location as mentioned that was too hard to go travel around ,even if the bus stop is in front of the hotel unfortunately we dont know exactly which bus can take plus some are not picked up only taxi can take us but needed to wait for awhile :(
