Good place for snorkling in clear water with corals ”

We have no towels in room. Hotel has hot shower. Breakfast was filipino style. You can go snorkling directly from the hotel stairs. Pool is quite small and I did not swim in it so much because sea water was clear and warmer. There are nice trees and we have good photos on Sunset. Hotel is not big so recommended as place with no crowds (you might be only traveler here). They have small and good pier to start your boat trip or go diving. I see (but did not use) diving equipment and amenities. There are barbeque area, common kitchen and refrigirator.

One word to sum up the stay: CORKAGE”

Place was ok - clean, good location, view from the resort is picturesque, SOME staff were accommodating and helpful. But the downsides outweigh all these: (1) salty water in the bath room; (2) very basic room; (3) meal choices are very basic and limited (hello tocino and brand x corned beef?!) and too pricey at that; AND..... (4) very absurd CORKAGE FEES, water included (wasn't even sure about the water they serve for meals).

    Diving, Staff Performance, Food,

We stayed at the King Solomon Dive Resort with the family of my wife and we had a great time. The staff was very nice and helpfull, food was really good, location nice with a terrace overlooking to sea. Even they are called a Dive Resort, you better contact them ahead to arrange the diving but once done, everything was organized perfectly

The food is good, the stuff is kind, the room is clean.

Our overnight in King Solomon is really enjoying specially the kids had their skuba diving and snorkeling from afternoon we arrived until tomorrow morning. Parents like ours swim together the water is very shallow. We also enjoyed having dinner with the good taste of filipino food, drink beers and unwind singing karaoke until 11PM at night. It is recommended for Barkada, couples and family. Keep it up your good service King Solomon.

We enjoyed our stay at King Solomon Dive Resort. Recently painted, so it looks nice and clean. On our 1st day there, there was no electricity for a few hours in the afternoon and night but it was manageable with Lavenia's help. Walked over to Ato Dive Resort, a Korean owned resort for Korean dinner and diving.

We stopped there to stay in the off season, with diving not available due to weather I cannot comment on that. It is oceanfront with a dive platform behind the building at the shoreline. The staff was very accommodating and the room was as expected for the price. It is significantly off the beaten path, so not a sightseeing spot, although we had a nice view of the ocean and it was a nice place to stay for a bit.

very nice food, great view, fantastic staff”

the view of the ocean is amazing!

this is a new hotel but it's very good. we were the only ones staying there so our impressions might be different if we weren't alone. the staff speaks very bad english but are very sweet, helpful and friendly. the food is really good. you can get a "3 course" meal for 350 pesos per person or a smaller one, which is quite big already, for 450 for 2 people. i'd recommend the cheaper option. the diving equipment was all new since the hotel is new. the room was clean and nice. they have a fantastic view of the sunset, well worth staying. the card machine didn't work for us which was a bit annoying as we didn't have cash, but they accommodated us by having one employee to come with us on the car until the atm and we paid him there. the bed was a bit crap, noisy and cheap mattress.

Friendly staff - Clean - Quiet

Good stay in the hotel, which is located right in front of the sea. Hence this is convenient for diving and snorkeling. Unfortunately because of the bad weather (very cloudy and rainy), we did not feel like doing some diving nor snorkeling. The issue is that apart from diving and snorkeling, there is nothing to do there. We were very tired so we spent our stay sleeping and taking a tricycle to go to the nearest other resorts and Anilao center to get some info and have lunch and dinner. Definitely a spot for sea activities so weather needs to be fine to enjoy staying in Anilao.

Needs a little TLC but has potential”

Came mid week especially for diving, was told there was no diving. However manager worked hard to find me a company to dive with, went with ASDC, about 30 min walk or 10 min tricycle ride away. ASDC were excellent, as was the diving. Breakfast was ok, filling. General feeling is it just needs a bit of a systems tidy up, wanted to change rooms but they didn't have key, extensive menu, but only one thing available, (but it was mid week and few guests), nowhere to hang clothes in room, swimming pool needed cleaning, my overflowing rubbish bin not emptied for 3 days, staff a little lethargic, not much initiative, though manager was bubbly and polite. Very small place re room placement, so can be noisy, as local tourists and staff talk very loudly. As i was leaving, new owner arrived and asked for feedback, seemed very keen to implement changes, so hopefully will be better soon. Overall, good value for money and nice setting, several terraces with view of the sea.

    wonderful stay at the seaside”

very clean room - directly at the beach - friendly boss at the receiption

We arrived there at the sunset, it was amazing! The boss were very friendly! The poolarea and also the beach is nice! Of course you can see on the photos that there are stones, but that's amazing for people who can swim! Perfect! Nice sitting areas outside and also the room was very nice! The only problem is the staff (very common in the Philippines) that they are very slow and not interested very much in costumers. The lady working in the kitchen (who is also serving you the meal), you must tell her that you want something to drink or eat again! She would never come to ask you! But the friendliness of the woman at the receiption makes everything wonderful again! If you need something, just ask her, and she will do the best that you will become satisfied!
