Shit, if you care about actually sleeping”
Walls are super thin. You can hear your neighbor cough kinda thin. If that’s not a concern to you, this place is great. For me, the neighbors chatting in the early morning hours ruined my already short night.

Nice clean place but let down by noise”
This was a lovely place stayed here with my in-laws and 2 young children aged 7 months and 4. All was great until the Saturday evening there was a wedding in a gazebo virtually attached to our window so had to close our curtains from early evening privacy wise and then the DJ started from early evening until 12 with loud singing afterwards where we may aswell have been at the wedding. Got very little sleep with the baby disturbed and grief from the wife and in-laws thereafter. I appreciate weddings bring in money and have no issue with them but would have been good to know regarding the proximity to our accommodation as would have just booked somewhere else. Otherwise lovely staff , good food, hot showers and clean rooms.

Room 1”
If you are unlucky enough to be given Room 1 take a really good pair of ear plugs. I have had 2 of the worst nights sleep there due my head being next to the hotel boiler and it’s noises all night and my window on to the pub entrance and smoking area where the noises of drunken people went on well into the night. Ask for another room if they offer room 1

Stayed here before morning flight from Luton”
This is a charming place. Tucked away at the end of a narrow country lane, it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, yet it's just a 10-minute ride to Luton airport (about 10-15 GBP for a taxi, one-way). Unfortunately my partner and I arrived around 10pm, and the kitchen closed at 9pm, so we weren't able to try the delicious pub food we had read about, but we had some great beers and chatted with the friendly local staff. This is an old establishment - it looks like it has been an pub/inn for a couple of centuries, at least. That makes the setting all the more idyllic. There's even a field of sheep out back - my partner and I watched them from the pub window at breakfast while the sun came up. The rooms are very rudimentary, but the beds are clean and comfortable.

Quick-stop”
As stated, great atmosphere and friendly people but accommodation very sub-standard and hygiene quiet poor but you get what you pay for and this was very cheap. OK for an overnight stop on route between flights. Needs a great deal of money spending on guest accommodation but proprieter is aware of this!

Cute and welcoming”
We arrived late in the evening. We wanted to stay another night but they were full. It was a cute hotel full of character. Very small room, but no problem for us.
