Exceptional”
Had an amazing experience, food is really good and prices aren't too expensive, we stay at the hotel for 3 night and had no issue. Staff was great and really friendly. We recommend you to come on monday night, the pub is full of beautiful persons and the live music is so good ! Merci pour tout !

Wonderful one night stay ”
We stayed here for one night after going to a festival at Herewood house in Hampstead. We also drank in the bar before and after the festival- all staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Pub was full of character and garden was a lovely sun spot. Drinks reasonable priced. We stayed in room Catherine - it was perfect size and comfortable, with plentiful toiletries, still and sparkling water and tea & coffee facilities. Only downside was not much water pressure in shower. We would definitely recommend the accommodation and bar to everyone and we will definitely stay here again.

Excellent London Boozer, lots of life and character, with comfy rooms above. Very helpful staff, JJ was all you could ask. It's not a souless Travel lodge, so expect chips and cracks in the lovely old building, top room is haunted, which says it all. Ideal position for Highgate, breakfast in Manni's a few steps away. Will return!

No hot water, needs a revamp”
Having read the reviews, I wasn't surprised to find the place run down. But I needed to be close to the tube and it was for one night only. However, the room (Adelaide) gave onto the busy road and the windows were so old that they didn't fully close, meaning that the noise from the road was somewhat intrusive, while the curtains had partially fallen off their hooks and couldn't close completely. The staff were pleasant and helpful - but when I found there was no hot water for the shower the next morning, I didn't feel there was much point in complaining: they clearly aren't responsible in any meaningful way for the state of the rooms and probably wouldn't have been able to arrange a partial refund. And I didn't want to make their lives difficult. So I'm writing this review to warn others of what to expect. It's also true that the noise from the pub downstairs would make it difficult to sleep before closing time (around 12:30am the night I was there, which was a Saturday).
