金太郎温泉は広い敷地にあります。日本が元気だった時期に建てられたんだろうなあ，と思わせる，趣向のある贅沢な作りをしています。 設備や温泉は最新ではありませんが、そのかわり今の時代ではできないような趣向を凝らしていて楽しめました。 お食事は季節のお料理コースをいただきましたが，美味しかったです。一つ一つの食材に対しての工夫を楽しみました。 場所は広い食堂でいただきましたが他のお客さんたちとは，十分な距離があるので心配は入りませんでした。 夕食以上に朝食が素晴らしく思いました。ビュッフェスタイルです。適当な感じは全くなく、富山の郷土料理のテイストを交えながら 和食の一つ一つが丁寧に作られています。 どれもしっかりしたお味で本当に美味しくて ご飯をおかわりまでしてしまいました。 滞在した部屋はモダンにリニューアルされていました。目の前は立山連峰のビューが一面に見えます。 もう何泊かしたいなあと思いながら後にしました。 おみやげ屋さんもありました。 富山でゆっくりと過ごしたい方におすすめです。
