Fairways and Bluewater Boracay
Station 1,Boracay Island - View on map
"We rented a kayak suggested by the staff at the savoy hotel side of the beach the sister company of fairways. The paddle broke midway without hitting any rocks. We were at the deep part of the water. Our safety had been compromised and the manager made us pay 5000 pesos for the paddle even though it wasn't our fault. The manager robbie and his people were very rude talking to us as if we were criminals. Never in my life have I been treated like this in any of the hotels I have stayed. The manager also insisted that he wanted cash and credit card was not allowed . We were suspicious so we only told him we will pay in card only and he got angry. In the end it was resolved by another manager which allowed us to pay in credit card and lower the amount to 5000 which is still very high(original amount asking is 6000). Very scam worthy. Would not recommend to anyone ever "

COAST Boracay
Station 2,Boracay Island - View on map
"The transfer from Kalibo airport all the way to hotel was seamless. Coast arranged for the 3rd party private car transfer by Southwest from airport to jetty and took over from there using their own speedboat to Boracay island and vehicle to hotel. We were amazed with their friendly personable service right from the jetty, throughout the stay and all the way until the jetty again during departure. The room is spacious and clean. Love the TV which comes with screen mirroring and Netflix app. Despite being located in station2, the room is relatively quiet undisturbed by the hustle outside, while enjoying the central location to station 1 and 3 all within walking distance. Loved the complementary drinks and snacks they placed at the lobby which is always a pleasant welcome coming back from the hot weather outside during the day. Loved the exclusive beach chair area just outside the hotel front with a great view of the white beach and beautiful sunset, perfect for a lazy getaway holiday. The turn down snacks and a pleasant surprise during check out are all remarkable personal touches. The friendly staff and personable service of Coast left the deepest impression with us for this trip."

Astoria Current
Station 3,Boracay Island - View on map
"Really a good deal for your money with daily breakfast included, even better than the breakfast buffets we had on numerous occasions in Hawaii. Everything at the hotel is in excellent shape. My son loves the beach in front of the hotel and also the hotel’s swimming pool. The staff is so nice and extremely helpful, especially Ferdy the food and drinks manager and Rene the restaurant staff. When my son needs milk before he sleeps Ferry makes sure it’s delivered to our room every night and the staff even washed his milk bottle for us a couple times because we forgot the bottle brush. They totally went out of their way to make us feel so welcome and have an enjoyable stay. Our first time to the Philippines and Boracay, didn’t know what to expect but now I’m really glad we picked it the Astoria Current. Would definitely come back again in the future!"

Astoria Boracay
Station 1,Boracay Island - View on map
"Astoria is hands down one of the best beach front hotels in that area of Boracay. It is not cheap but not too expensive as well, I guess that's why all the rooms are booked days ahead. Rooms are great, spacious and I would suggest you get a pool access one as you would really enjoy that. The pool is great and has some beach beds half submerged in the shallow area as well as the ones with mattresses and improvised leaf-sun-umbrellas on the top. There is also a shallow kids pool interconnected with the big pool. Restaurant is good but being at the beachfront of that area of Boracay means you are minutes away from other great restaurants located along the beach path. Beach area has a dozen or so beach bed where they could serve you a cocktail or two, but you should also keep in mind that now along all the beach they have built a wall of bamboo net covered up by plastic transparent film, it was made to prevent sand swept by the wind inside the hotel area. At one moment it may be limiting your view but from another point you will quickly realize that it will give you some privacy from the beach hawkers and that's a good thing believe me. The other thing which I didn't like about the beach is that there is an armada of sail boats parked in a row there which limits your place to swim, and in the evening when lots of people come to take a ride on them you may find yourself maneuvering to avoid being hit by leaving - coming boats so it is better to get in water a bit further down the beach."

The Orient Beach Boracay Resort
Baling-Hai Beach,Boracay Island - View on map
"This is our second stay at the Orient Beach Boracay. I normally dont like to write about the hotel etc when i travel, but Orient beach Boracay has fascinated us with their services second time so i thought i would write a few sentences which would help other travellers to pick this as their next destination which we did. Me and my Gf from australia and we travel philippines a lot. This hotel is new modern tropical and great customer service... relaxing ambience.. Roof-deck lounge Moonlit is a place to chill out after long days of snorkelling or island hopping...great rooms, partial sea view, personalised service. They customised the pics to surprise my gf and also rose petals and our names on the hotel room TV to wish great holiday.. great food at veranda restaurant, awesome selection in drinks menu for pool bar, breakfast was delicious and also good varieties, beaches are nearby and with free shuttle service. Every small things are taken care of this hotel and attention to detail... located not at crowded area and perfect for sound sleep. I like this place as its tucked away from the hustle and bustle of boracay central. The only down side is this resort is not wheelchair accessible and they do not serve alcoholic drinks but we bought our own from the supermarket from station 2. Overall Highly recommened"

Banana Bay Boracay
Bulabog Beach,Boracay Island - View on map
"Start with the positives, the view, the staff and the room. We had a huge room which was really nice and new. The staff were so friendly and always willing to help out. The negatives for me was the fact you can’t swim at the beach in front of the hotel, there is massive big black pipes, which I think would have been nice to know about through more transparent images about the resort. We were really upset with this. It’s definitely something the government are trying to fix/do up, but not great turning up to see this. The pool is good but not really somewhere you want to lay around for hours, it also wouldn’t accommodate lots of people when busy. The sun lounges wereright in front of the restaurant, so would feel a bit weird if you’re keen to relax and sunbake. This meant we spent no time at the hotel during the day and had to get a day pass to a hotel at the far end of the island who had better facilities. Location is good being away from the craziness that is main beach but a bit sketchy at night, u wouldn’t feel safe as a single woman walking into the pitch black. I’m also not keen on recommending Boracay due to the immense amount of over tourism that is occurring. It felt chaotic. Saying this, some people love this so nothing against the hotel I just hope the island is able to fix everything up and turn back the clock on the ecological damage that’s happened. All up, the hotel is really great and a good option for those looking to hang out in town, if you’re looking for more facilities, this may not be for you. "

LA BANCA HOUSE AT BORACAY
Barangay Manoc-Manoc,Boracay Island - View on map
"Your home in Boracay. That’s how I would call La Banca. It’s a beachfront property in Station 3. Quiet and relaxed area of Station 3. Quite a walk to the action in Stations 1 & 2 but worth the stay. The Deluxe Sea View room was a little too small for my taste but still quite cozy. The bed is wonderful. Bathroom is spacious. The staff of La Banca made our stay comfortable as they make sure they tend to your needs during your stay with them. You can easily arrange transfers to and fro the airport in Caticlan. Overall, a great experience with La Banca!"

7Stones Boracay
Bulabog Beach,Boracay Island - View on map
"It was an awesome resort hotel to stay in. Because I visited Boracay from Aug 20 to 23 during its rainy season in Philippines, the location of the hotel was better than the ones on the White Beach because the Bulabog beach had low waves and less winds. Also parasailing activities and scuba diving and etc. were all done on Bulabog beach that it was more helpful. The hotel had generally great service and breakfast. Because I stayed at a deluxe double suite which is the highest level of rooms at 7Stones, I was mostly satisfied with the interior, furniture, space and location of the room. Especially I loved the mattress of the bedroom. It was firm and comfort that I could have a deep sleep during the stay. However, just one thing I was surprised at the hotel was the fact that I found a huge cockroach in the bathroom once. It was not running around but it was standing on the wall of the bathroom faucet area. It was disgusting to look at but I didn't want to make a hassle to chase it around in the early morning so I left it as it was, and later it disappeared somewhere. I didn't mention this complaint to the hotel while I stayed so I am not sure if the staff is aware of this problem. I am sure the hotel is managed as clean as possible always but I think prevention of insect propagation is the issue of the hotel. Otherwise, overall I would definitely like to recommend this hotel to my friends who visit Boracay. PS The wi-fi internet didnt work very well in bedroom area. It was only strong in living room area for me. I hope this service can also be improved later."

Le Soleil de Boracay Hotel
Station 2,Boracay Island - View on map
"It was a well spent vacation in Le Soleil. All staff are friendly and ready to assist us with our needs and requests. We were accommodated for an early check-in and our room was upgraded for free as well. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Complimentary breakfast buffet is nice and plenty. Staying here is worth every peso. Plus, I almost left Boracay island without my Nikon DSLR. I was already in a van to depart when a staff called me and simultaneously a security officer was rushing towards us to hand my camera over. The van was 300+- meters away from the hotel. I was in a rush to catch a flight and forgot that I placed it on one of the coffee tables in the lobby area while waiting to be picked up by our transport service provider. Kudos to the staffs' honesty. =) Will definitely check-in again and recommend this hotel to our family and friends' should they decide to go to Boracay. Thanks Le Soleil! =)"
