- Approx 15 mins walk from JR Shinjuku station - Looks bigger in photos - Bathroom was very small, the shower roof was very low and I’m only 165cm tall - The place was a bit dirty, could definitely be cleaner - It had a washing machine which doubled up as a dryer which was a bonus - Apartment management does not know the apartment was advertised to be rented which made us feel uncomfortable when walking in and out of the apartment with locals around

It Looked Better in the Photos”
I was sold in renting the room when I saw the pictures on this website. I thought a private room with its own toilet and bath at this price was a good deal. When I arrived I was disappointed to find out that getting to the building involved passing through a steep side street (per Goggle Maps’ directions) which was a challenge with luggage in tow. The building was old, and so was the room and its toilet and bath. There was no bidet and the toilet was the old unit with standard flush, and no control buttons, which means you get a cold seat even in winter (I came Feb 2019) The toaster and microwave oven was a plus though, since I was able to buy food from the convenience store and heat it in the room. There were only 4 or 5 TV channels though, and the only one in English was the news. The bigger problem I had was with the wifi router. It wasn’t working at all. I reported it to the unit manager, and he just insisted that it was working. I requested him to check it (even while I was out) and to possibly replace it, but no action was taken until I checked out. This is the first time I tried Agoda’s Air B & B, and I’m not sure if it’s SOP that you don’t meet or even speak with the unit owner. While he advised me to communicate with him via the Agoda chat room, it takes a while before he replies. While the room was clean it needs to be refurbished. The sheets, comforter, and towels are due for replacement as well. All in all, this room is okay if you’re on a tight budget but prefer private accommodations.

Awful ”
This room was dirty and uncomfortable. There was other people’s hair in the shower when I arrived, and the bathroom sink drained out directly onto the floor. Not to mention that there is currently construction right outside the window. On my first morning I was woken up by the incessant noise. When I tried to communicate my dissatisfaction to the owner, he did not reply to my message. I only stayed one night here. What a waste of money. Don’t stay here.

最悪のトラブル対応でした。”
初めて利用させていただいたのですが、こちらのホストはトラブルの対応に問題があると感じます。 当初は西新宿の部屋で３泊の予約を入れていたのですが、当日の15時にチェックインしてみると部屋の中が水浸しになっており、泊まれる状況ではなかったためホストに連絡を入れると、キャンセルでの返金対応か、違う部屋を提供するとの返事。チェックインの時点で自分も彼女も疲れており、これから３泊分のホテルを自分で探すのは大変だし、宿泊費も高くなるのでホストが用意する別の部屋への移動にしました。 そしてタクシー代を出すというので大久保の部屋に移動しました。ただ、大久保の部屋はこれから清掃が入るということで2時間程度の間ファミレスで時間を潰すことになりました。 その後、18時前に部屋には入れたのですが明らかにグレードの低い部屋で、当初予約していた部屋よりも狭く、マットレスが床に直で置いてあるような部屋でした。清掃も急いでいたのか、前の宿泊客の髪の毛が床に散乱していましたし、使用する前の寝具にも大量に付着していました。 このような部屋に当初の料金で３泊するのは耐えられなかったため、ホストに連絡して1泊で退出すると伝えました。その際に3泊予定の内の1泊しかしなかったので、当初の合計宿泊費の1/3しか払いたくないと伝えていたのですが、請求された金額は当初の料金の半額程度でした。 そこで、もう一度ホストに連絡をして20分くらいの押し問答の末に当初予定の合計金額の1/3に変更させたのですが、結局タクシー代の返金分は有耶無耶にされてしまい、返金されずこちらが持つことになりました。 総括すると、チェックインは18時、当初よりグレードが低く汚い部屋で彼女を連れて1泊させられた上に合計宿泊料金も高くなるという最悪な経験になりました。 その後、急遽自分で手配したホテルに泊まり、なんとか旅行は継続できましたが、今回の経緯からこのホストには二度とお世話にならないというのが私の感想です。

ホストはとても良い方でした。また料金も良心的でロケーションも良かったです。しかし、浴室の排水が悪く溜めたお湯を排水すると床一面が濡れてしまいます。また自室及び隣の部屋のエアコンが動いていると、うるさくて寝れませんでした。隣室の物音もかなり聞こえました。冷蔵庫も2層でないため、冷凍庫が使えないのと同じでした。洗濯機もありますが、干す場所がなく、長期の宿泊にはお勧めしかねます。

房间很大东西齐全，但洗手间和浴室一起才1.5平方米太小很不舒适，自来水的漂白粉味道太大，不能喝，必须买矿泉水。房东不用微信，沟通不方便，要求在楼里不能和任何人交流非常无理。
