Non-accessible”

Booked well in advance, asking for an accessible, wheelchair friendly, large room. Got to the accommodation, to find that I had to go down many steps. My carer went to reception, and there was nothing she could do. Luckily my carer was able to assist me down the stairs, and carry my wheelchair down. Got to our room, and it was tiny. Could not go around the room in my wheelchair. Breakfast was okay, but not special. I was in agony for 48 hours after the stay. I couldn't get another room in another hotel, as there were several events going on in Bristol.

Love the honesty bar”

Lovely place right in the town centre with a great quart yard and help yourself bar to enjoy. Our room was very noisy till 2am due to a club opposite so worth checking if your a light sleeper

Great Location with Caveat”

Located in the centre of Bristol this hotel is really well positoined however the courtyard acts as an echo chamber to all manner of noise from guests and staff - notably you cannot hear the surroundings. What this meant is that in the heat of the summer with the windows open (due to no A/C) you are often woken up really loud. This coupled with heavy sheeting and thick overly soft mattress leading to overheating meant the nights were not the most restful. Good as a pitstop location for action but not for a restful stay!

Everything looks nice and clean, cozy little guesthouse with £15 parking a day if you park at the galleries, would stay here again if we ever go back to Bristol

bad positioning of bedside lamps, couldn't reach switches easily, light on heated bathroom mirror on permanently making bathroom too warm. Kept bumping feet into legs of bed as I walked around bed. Bed too big for small room, needs a single bed.

The location is very center and convenient with bars and restaurants nearby. Room was spotlessly clean. We travelled with our bikes and they provide secure bike storage.

Booked a caravan on the roof. Room was freezing when we arrived, had to wait half hour in our coats for the room to warm up. Remote for the TV missing. When asked at reception, they couldn't help, so had to do without the TV for our stay. Remote for the lighting wasn't working. Unfortunately, due to the central location, local bars and clubs very noisy into the early hours.

Something different in the centre of Bristol”

Stayed in one of the larger sort of art-deco style caravans on the roof terrace. I live in Bristol but wanted me and my partner to have a new experience and it was worth it. Brooks is right in the centre of Bristol so you have the choice to go out for the evening, but the caravan also had a tv with freeview, tea/coffee/hot chocolate and heaters/a radiator, as well as an honesty bar if you just wanted to stay in. The beds will fit two people up to 6ft very comfortably, and there are plenty of lights aswell as an LED strip to set the mood exactly as you want it. The toilet and shower is plumbed in and spacious so no comfort is lost there. WIFI reaches the roof terrace and the whole thing just feels secure and well ventilated, but warm. Would recommend.

The bed was very comfortable, the TV didn't work, the room was unpleasantly hot, we saw a sign in the courtyard asking people not to be out there after 11 we were in room 3 outside till 4.30am two Spanish men talking laughing, then the fountain going on very early so didn't actually get any sleep at all at your hotel

Compact rooms means very small with no room for storage of overnight bag or clothing. Can't even fit a toilet roll holder in bathroom. !!

Unique stay ”

Great location in the heart of the old town and surrounded by the charm of Bristol with everything you need in walking distance. I stayed for 2 nights in 1 of the caravans on top of the hotel which was a unique experience and extremely enjoyable, the views are amazing. Could do with a bit of maintance work as shower door was loose so didn’t shut and some things are worn but that didn’t stop a wonderful break. I will defiantly be back as I visit Bristol quite often and recommending.

The hotel is centrally located and very clean. The staff were friendly and you can leave your luggage with them for the day if you like. The only thing to bear in mind is that because of the central location there is a fair amount of noise at night. I was staying there on a Tuesday night and there was still a lot of banging and shouting outside. It isn’t an issue if you’re staying there for just one night but for longer you might want some ear plugs!

Exactly what we needed”

Room was clean and pleasant, though we were not in it long enough to really appreciate it. Bed linen, towels and toilet paper of good quality which is how I judge overnight hotels. Staff very pleasant and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was the coffee in the rooms - but that’s only a matter of personal taste.

Fantastic guest house and perfect location”

A beautifully clean and welcoming little guest house in the heart of Bristol. The perfect location to see what the city has to offer. Right next to the market and lots of fantastic restaurants, just a short walk to the harbour and Arnolfini. Comfy beds, fluffy towels and a great breakfast. Delightful.

The bed took up all the space and was very very squeaky. We were in Bristol for an event and had to fall over each other to get ready. Nowhere to do hair or makeup when one person in bathroom. Very small!!!!

Such a lovely stay ”

Perfectly convenient, as it’s in the city centre. 10 minute walk from temple meads and 10 minute walk from Thekla where I saw my gigg. Such a lovely relaxed atmosphere from the staff and also very cosy, cottage-like feel to the hotel. £9.50 for a breakfast there which was Definarely worth it, plenty to eat with lovely vibe in the morning there :) Very reasonable price for the stay as well!
