새벽 두시 이후 출입금지, 기분대로인 얼리 체크인 시간, 낮은 수압등 아고다 최초로 추천하지 못 하는 경우인듯. 단, 게이세이 우에노 스캉이라인을 15초만에 갈 수 있는 위치는 최고로 좋고 기본은 갖춘 곳이지만 개인적으론 아무리 가격이 싸지더라도 그다지 다시 가고 싶지는 않다.

괜찮은 호텔이지만..”
장점으로는 경성 우에노 역 출구 바로 앞에 있어서 이용이 매우 편이 하고 호텔 바로 뒷편으로는 우에노 공원 산책로와도 연결 되어 있어 위치는 매우 좋은 곳에 위치하고 있고 이동이 용이하다. 1인실도 보유 하고 있어 타 호텔 처럼 패널티를 물지 않아도 된다. 연중 같은 가격으로 방만 있으면 최성수기에도 부담없이 이용가능하다. (하지만 그 전에 방이 동나는 경우가 태반이다) 단점으로는 연세 드신 어르신 분들이 경영하고 있어서 외국어가 통하지 않으므로 불편할 수 있다. 방마다 약간씩 차이는 있지만, 금연실도 담배 냄새가 나는 경우가 있으며 한 여름에 냉방 성능이 약한 편이라 다소 더울 수 있다. 방에는 그 흔한 소형 냉장고도 없고 음료수 한두병 정도 겨우 들어갈 법한 초소형 냉온장기 같은게 하나 있다. 욕실은 매우 좁아 앉거나 서서 샤워하더라도 체구가 작은 사람이라도 벽이나 욕조에 접촉이 많다. 그야말로 잠만 자고 씻고 나올 목적으로는 딱이다.

불친절한 일본 할머니 칸코구라며 뭐라뭐라 하고 담배냄새에 쩌들어있는 방을 바꿔달라니 안된다고 하는 그냥 저렴한 가격에 접근성 좋은 여관 오래된 건물 오래된 이불 오래된 침대

Just a few feet from Keisei Ueno train station with a kind staff who let us keep luggage with them until we departed after checkout. Will stay again.

Extremely near to Keisei Skyliner station which was why i booked this hotel as i have early flight and i need to get into the station as early as possible. overall the stay was good, the hotel and room look old but you can get whatever you need nearby from the hotel. is very very convenient for all travelers.

Great location but no aircon”
Keisei station just opposite this hotel. Ueno park is in front. Ameyoko street / Ueno station just few minutes walk from hotel. If you are someone looking for close to station and travel within autumn and winter, this place is good for you. I am wondering for those who are travelling on summer, how can they sleep without aircon

A bit old but convenient ”
This is my second time stay at this hotel. The hotel outfit is a bit old which you may not able to imagine it is an hotel. Old style furniture and you cannot expect the receptionists know too much English. Good choice for staying 1 or 2 nights. Very good location with a comparatively lower price around the area. Just opposite the metro station and only needs to walk 2 to 3 minutes to reach the Ueno JR station. You can’t expect too much for such low price. Would recommend those who want a hotel at Ueno with a convenient location and cheap price. Overall is a good deal.

A place to stay for a night”
Hotel was perfectly located at Keisei Exit. There was no water provided inside the room, have to go to the lobby to get drinking water with tiny paper cups.

This is a place of last option for a night, when you can't get anywhere else. The location is really good though. I hope they sell the land to re-built a new one.

Old hotel in great location. Terrible service”
Outatanding location but hotel run by the equivalent of a "soup nazi". We had multiple bookings and she got confused. She wanted everything done her way, talked too much and would not listen. Check-in took us 2 hours. Then payment process took us another 1 hour. Had to get a friend who could speak Japanese to talk to her but still couldn't resolve. Wasted 3 hours checking in, which could have been better spent resting or shopping. If your booking is simple, you have prepaid and you arrive all at the same time, then this hotel might be ok for you. If you deviate even slightly from this and you can't speak Japanese I suggest you book elsewhere. When checking in try not to make eye contact with the lady. Say yes to everything she says, dont argue back and go straight to your room when done. Hotel is unrenovate but the hotel nazi obviously kept very good care of it. It is clean and acceptable.

Great location and that’s all”
When trying to check into hotel for 2 nights, I was informed that the credit card machine was down for 2 weeks and only accept cash. It was a bad experience as this should not have happened for hotel. I would say the location is great, but it should consider to upgrade its current facilities.

not that worth, but near with the subway”
if you are solo traveler, may I suggest you to stay in Hostel? because this hotel make me feel so lonely haha, it a little bit old, but clean so far. But if you compare with the other good hostel around there, I think this hotel is too expensive, and dont provide any facilities. The woman front is not that good, she seem like don't want to help customer so much. but the guy is very nice. other thing, it is located near with subway, just walk out from hotel and you can see it.

great location but room was too hot”
The hotel is just behind Keisei Skyliner from Narita Airport, which makes it location very useful. Reception was smooth and friendly (if we are also friendly to them). One of the bespectacled elderly man was even able to converse in Mandarin which was very pleasant to me. Room is payable per day and credit cards such as visa/mastercard are accepted. Room was clean but smelled a little mouldy. For my single room there was ample space to keep my luggage open at all times. The TV remote control looked little different, as the power button was at the bottom. The room air conditioning is locked to only introduce heat into the room. I was told by Reception I just need to wait for the night to fall and the room would be cool. Unfortunately I still felt the heat and had trouble sleeping. For my sleep quality I would not return to this hotel anymore.
