Wonderful Getaway”

Staff was fantastic. Room was spacious and newly updated. Casa Calabria was impeccable and the happy hour and apps. at the bar were superb. Highly recommend the hotel and restaurants. Tiki bar a plus. We will be going back.

Great value for the money!”

Love that Ocean Manor is right on the beach with reasonable valet parking($10/day), and delicious food in the restaurants. Wait staff is super friendly. And we got great service. I wish the room had had a little kitchenette, and that there were umbrellas at the pool, but other than that, it was a perfect getaway.

Great place to stay”

The facilities were good, the location can't be beat. The food at the tiki bar is well above bar food. The staff go out of their way to make sure the guests are happy. I've stayed there several times and will be back soon!

Weekend Getaway”

The hotel is in a great location, the bar is awesome. Great servers, good drinks and great service, Everyone was friendly. Beach service was also nice touch, having drinks delivered to you at your chair! Room was typical of a "island resort/beach resort" room. Clean, comfy beds and great ocean view. Definitely will be back again.

Great girl's getaway!”

The building may be one of the oldest in the area, but it still is one of the best. The service was fantastic especially Raphael at the front desk and Jose who helped manage the beach. The amenities were awesome and both the Tiki Bar and Casa Calabria served great food. Our group of 7 looks forward to returning!

The staff were wonderful; however, the room was in great need of repair and this was the second room”

The room was need of repair as is the hotel. Refrigerator didn’t work, towel rack broken and hanging in side. This was our second room and was better than first. Location is fabulous and the staff was wonderful.

Very Bad”

I had stayed at this hotel one time before, several years back before the so-called renovation. My room was far from renovated. Issues included: but for one lamp, the other lights in the room were operable; paint chipping off the wall; holes in the walls and in the door to the room; the door was actually missing a door frame almost as if someone had kicked the door in; it was advertised as having a balcony with furniture, the furniture consisted of one chair that was broken; the room didn’t have so much as a small coffee maker nor even an ironing board. There’s a reason that average beach side hotels in Fort Lauderdale go for 400++ dollars a night. . And this hotel rates are much lower. You get what you pay for. I certainly cannot recommend this hotel.

Great location, restaurants, DOG FRIENDLY”

I needed a hotel room for the night and I needed a place that would accept dogs. This fit the bill. However, the room was the size of my closet. and the AC did not filter the humidity out of the room. We were able to sit outside on the veranda with our dog and enjoy a fabulous meal. I've since been back to the restaurant, and would recommend it.

Amenties are amazing. Lobby is clean and up to date. Most rooms need to be updated though and they recently began letting dogs that are less than 15 lbs stay at the resort. Hearing the barking from my room became quite annoying.

Very poor front desk staff.”

We had booked a standard hotel room via 3rd party website. Upon check-in, the room did not have a king-size bed, a microwave and a coffee pot. All these are listed in the website however when checked at the front desk they denied mentioning these facilities anywhere!! Extremely poor and unfriendly staff at the front desk ! We would not recommend this hotel to any of our friends and family only because of the front desk staff. The hotel was fully booked so they ran out of microwaves(in 2019!!!) was the explanation. We were also told that the airport shuttle is free and taken care it however when needed they were charging double the fare than Uber and was not booked in time. The worst staff we have ever experienced so far!! The staff at the Tiki Bar (specially Dan) were good and professional. Ocean-view was good. The resort fee doesn’t include beach bed and towels.

Okay - Not Great”

Man working front desk check in was great. Downstairs area is nice but, overall, the rooms and hallways are dated. An attempt to make the bathroom more modern has been made but the toilet was so old it took four flushes every time to get the smallest piece of tissue to disappear and the shower quickly resulted in standing in two inches of water. Restaurant/bar that is located on site was a loud and disappointing experience. Proximity to the beach is the best feature of this hotel.

Terrible”

While the hotel has a good location there's a charge for everything, the hotel is old and falling apart and everything seems to be broken. Our room was full of cracks in the walls, it sounded like our neighbors were in our room, there was a plethora of lamps without bulbs and not even plugged in. The bed was vey uncomfortable and seemed like it was going to break. Most of the staff were quite rude to top it off. The little coffee bar was literally the only thing we liked.

Location is Amazing!”

Didn’t start out well but ended great. We had a late flight and arrived around very late. We were told we had been put in as a no show even though we had said in reservation that we would be in around midnight. We were given a room on 2nd floor when we got in it smelled so awful from smoke. But the worst was that it was falling apart. Doors didn’t close on chest and ceiling was literally hanging down. Called down to front desk and said how unhappy I was and they switched us to another room on the 4th floor that was amazing!!! The linens, furniture and bathroom were beautiful but best of all the view was awesome. The tiki bar is fun but the smoking inside was awful. Drinks come in Dixie cups and are pretty expensive. All in all I would recommend as long as you get updated and ocean view room.

Great spot on the beach for the price. Our bed was comfortable so that was a plus. The bathroom was in need of some major TLC. Overall, hotel showed signs of age and outdated furnishings but room was very clean. Quite loud...we had a room down a hallway so not next to an elevator and we could hear it ringing each time it got to our floor. Cleaning staff was also wheeling their carts around at 6am. Tiki bar was a convenient option for food but did not like how everything was plastic. Straws, cups, styrofoam plates...especially being right on the beach, this was appalling as we saw these items blowing everywhere and inevitably some have ended up in the ocean. Reusable sturdy plastic cups and paper straws, paper plates would be a better alternative if they don't want broken glass. Food was good but overpriced for salads, burgers and $10 glasses of wine served in a plastic cup.

It was not a nice room ”

You should change the photos of the room .It dose not looks nothing like it It should not be permited to put pictures of another rooms and you think that is what you getting . it shoul be ilegal . I don't sell something in the internet and send people totally different Item. That is a scam . Not Happy

Wedding was amazing rooms not so much ”

We came down for a friends wedding and the wedding staff and the wedding went great. I was supposed to have a king bed did not have that. First day had to call maintenance the shower didn’t drain and the A C didn’t work. They fixed the shower but never had A C. Other people that came for the weddings had problems with rooms also. Was also told parking would be 8 per day and it was 10. The location was great, and the food was good. Overall I’d say maybe 2.5 stars but it definitely needs improvement

4 room changes - door key no good, toilet leak, sink leak, cockroaches, then a smoke shop filled with door in all hallways and parties until at least 2 to 3 AM......

One of my favorite hotels right on the beach”

Nice hotel room with valet parking. For $10 a night you can't beat it. I recommend getting a room with a balcony. Check out the Tiki Bar great drinks and good food.
