It was perfect for my plans”
Having read many reviews, I booked my stay with no expectations that this would be one of those big luxurious Florida resorts. All I wanted was to chill a couple of days with my family and enjoy the beach. This hotel was satisfactory enough for this purpose. Room was clean, restaurant was ok (again, don’t expect the dining experience of a luxurious resort), employees were helpful, and the fact that this was way cheaper than many of the other hotels and still had access to the beach (very good beach, by the way) was this hotel’s biggest pro. Things to have in mind: - you’re welcome to take a towel and stay on the beach (lying on the sand), but if you want to use one of those chairs you’ll have to rent it for the day. I think it was $20 per chair. The combo 2 chairs + umbrella was $60. - you pay $20 per day to park your car. They have employees who park the car for you though. - 1 hour late checkout is $60, 2 hour late checkout is $100 (if I do recall it correctly).

Great Getaway”
Went with a buddy on a girls' trip just for 3 days on the beach and this was the perfect place. We used the airport shuttle and did not rent a car and this was the perfect place. We enjoyed walking everywhere for shopping, dining, etc. The beach chair rental guys are very nice. The staff at the hotel was very nice too including front desk, concierge, beach towel ladies, restaurant, and maids. We had a great time!

We have visited this place several times in the last 6 months and truly was not ready to leave.. Staff is amazingly professional friendly and courteous.. Security is in place to enforce the rules and felt totally safe.. The gift there also has just about everything you may need and reasonable. There is also a serene beautiful beach along with jet ski fun if that’s something you like! Best birthday ever can’t wait to return..

I got to this hotel checking in was a slow process. Think the lady was a trainee. Overall my 3 days were perfect. Pool was big and clean. Security present throughout the day by the pool area. Jacuzzi nice and hot. Overall 8/10

Old hotel that has had a very nice recent remodel, no issues with it. Very clean in every crack and crevis. All the staff we met were first class and friendly. My only complaint is at the beach. They rent jet skis and chairs. There are dozens of over priced chairs stacked 6' high in several places on the beach, not a pretty site. I am a jet ski owner, but in the premium beach space they have 5-6 jet skis for rent. Basically it is clutter on the beach, the smell of gasoline caught my nose while at the pool several days. For some reason no one was eating at the restaurant, we never tried it. It looked expensive. Don't take my negative comments to harshly. I will come back here.

Good hotel except for hotel restaurant ”
Clean, great location right on beach , nice pool area and hot tub. Staff is helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are good but a bit small. Had diagonal view to ocean from balcony. Nachos and chicken tenders ordered from hotel restaurant were not very good. Hotel parking is 18$ a day. Good exercise room.

This was only hotel I found to be reasonably priced on the beach. Hot tub was nice warm large. Hotel is just feet from the beach. The twin queen size beds were small. It was great for two people.

We spent a quick 3 day weekend at the ocean sky and the experience was great. Super location, friendly staff, clean room and excellent value. Food was slightly subpar but that is to be expected at resorts. Plenty of great food within walking distance

Great Stay”
My husband and I stayed here for a short 4 day trip recently. The hotel is incredibly clean and in a great location. It's right on the beach and within walking distance to everything we needed. There is a Winn Dixie for any groceries you may need, a McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts, and a great pizza place nearby as well. We walked to Lauderdale by the Sea one evening which is a little more than 3/4 miles from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and shops there to stroll through. The staff was friendly and the workout facility was perfect for us. We had a great time!

The perfect location, away from all the craziness. I really enjoyed my stay, but it’s shocking to see how many people walk around without a mask as if there is no pandemic. The key stopped working almost every time I tried getting in my room so I had to run down to the front desk each time. That was annoying. But other than that, the place was great and I would definitely stay there again.
