Nothing short of exceptional! Best staff ever, spotless and beyond friendly. ”
We travel to Florida ever year from Canada. We have tired many nice resorts. This was our first time at sonesta beach resort and it is our new permanent vacation resort . Friendliest staff ever and front desk staff were just amazing . Beach was clean and rooms were beautiful !! Perfect vacation thanks to this resort .

Excellent location, lovely view from spacious room. High standard of customer service”
This hotel is in a fabulous location. Staff are very helpful and polite. Rooms are clean and spacious. Only negative is ‘Resort Fee’ so extra $35 +tax per room per day. Resort fees gives sun beds and towels and ‘daily delights!’ One bottle of water each per day and a coffee machine in room . (Coffee wasn’t good though and of course in UK tea and coffee would be provided in a room anyway). We only took advantage of the sun beds and towels once but still had to pay it the full amount - an additional $150 + to pay for 4 nights which put a negative slant on our stay.

Holiday”
The hotel was nicely located and we were very happy. The only thing I would say would be it would be nice if more information on the area, attractions and their locations was in your room. It would help when you only had a limited time like we had. Having said that we did enjoy our stay.

Nice Comfortable Stay”
The pillows were the best part of the room, they are extremely comfortable. The location was perfect to explore town and the resort area. Many things and activities are walkable from the hotel and there is a free shuttle on the street that takes you up and down the strip. This hotel is nice and clean. You can get an ocean front view and watch the sunrise. Overall this was an enjoyable experience at the hotel.

Beautiful and still in progress”
Very nice hotel with wonderful views of Fort Lauderdale beach. The staff are amazing and we're super patient with me with my questions and enquiries. Loved how clean the room looked and smelled. If in FLL area then this is the hotel for me. Yes there's a resort fee but location alone is worth it for me and get beach access plus other features.

Beautiful experience ”
Pros first the location is great for all of your needs. Secondly the beach since I love the beach.RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!!. Hotel was a little under construction but it did not hinder my beautiful experience here at Sonestra. Cons they do not tell you until after you book that there a daily service charge that they hold on your credit card for taxes and incidentals. I'm watching my cc to see what is left because I didn't do anything to incur charges. STEELPAN is the name of the restaurant downstairs. Order the jerk chicken sandwich great flavor, Joe the bartender is the best. Also Britnay the Hostess was pleasant. All and all great experience.

Good place”
The room and service was great! I only had one instance where this bald head black guy at the front desk stained at my fiancé inappropriately when she had a single question about our stay. Very inappropriate. On another note Suzzette was the greatest at the front desk and she really made sure our stay was great. Great location as well and surroundings with lots to do and eat!

Great staff! So helpful with restaurant suggestions, etc .Beautiful, well appointed room with a fantastic view. Good walk-in shower. Nice pool area. Modern, trendy lobby. Excellent maid service! Would definitely return! Highly recommended!

As close to beach without price tag ”
From the moment we walked into the hotel were warmly greeted and that lasted throughout our entire stay. The view from our room was spectacular. Unfortunately the weather was not the best but we were able to watch amazing lightning shows. The pool is small but big enough, always enough towels. The beach is literally right across the street. If you want a good price hotel, great service and close to the beach without paying ridiculous prices, this is the hotel.

Valet parking only for a $45 fee on top of additional fees totaling $100!”
they only had valet parking and it costs $45. You were not permitted to park the car and there was limited street parking which costs $3 per hour. Upon checkout there were additional fees such as pool towels and such $50 total and we never even saw the pool. I think parking and towels should be included in the $300 you pay to rent the room for the night🤷♀️
