Not so cheap but really good location”
We stayed their for like 4 nights. Their room is somehow confusing in agoda i thought i booked aircondition room upon checkin the reception told me that its only fan room to cut the story short we upgraded the room to aircondition. Room is so big. Not that cozy but its fine. Best about this hotel is really near to the town proper and resaturantsz

Definitely recommend to people travelling with children. Lovely garden with swings, hammocks and a great pool. Our kids loved it there. Good food, easy to get to town in a trike or on foot (c.15 mins). Quite a few mosquitoes, so bring spray.

Walking distance to McDonald’s, hospital, and almost in front of a 24/7 drugstore (convenience store). One-ride of tricycle going to the city proper but still walkable for 10-15mins. I love their garden. Would love to stay here next time.

We had booked an aircon room but when we arrived (in the evening) they had already given it to someone else, they upgraded us to a bigger room but with only fans which were fine by us for one night but we would have preferred if they hadn't overbooked the place.

Questionable style but with great attitude”
Yeah, the style is a wild mixture of questionable taste in terms of architecture and forniture but somehow looks like a piece of modern art. We loved the personality. Rooms are clean, staff friendly.

the hotel is good and seems its not a german style anymore 😞 they hve restaurant but dont hve so much german food... but all stay are good ..the staff are very helpful 😊 and they also offer island tour for the same price. and 2minswalking to MCDO 😁

Great location and friendly team”
As a foreign, local traveller, my partner and I decided to stay with the team of Kokosnuss for a few days whilst our generator was malfunctioning. The team accommodated us for our original reservation and added extra days at a special rate. Kokosnuss is a family oriented resort, close to all amenities. The owners have put a lot of hard work into maintaining the resort. This is no easy achievement following the pandemic. I myself have a resort and also survived the pandemic. It means that certain areas of the resort have been overlooked. This is due to nobody's fault. Only a matter of the pandemic having forced financial investment behind schedule. The staff are very experienced and make excellent food. The owners and managers are all friendly. The only areas for improvement would be the level of noise and light in the resort. Close to the main road and with garden lights on all night, there's never really a peaceful time for uninterrupted sleep. For a short getaway, Kokosnuss resort is the place to pick. If you're looking for quieter locations, this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a wonderful team and excellent customer service, be sure to check out this hotel.

Stay Here for Mid-value Comfort”
I recommend the Kokosnuss for a mid-value place that is quiet and near the town center. Nice pool and garden area with quiet spots for reading and relaxing. The breakfast is good but a little expensive. The homemade bread is awesome. The bed was a little hard, but the room is quiet and a nice size. We stayed 6 nights and they only made the room up twice. They seem understaffed for the cleaning crew. The owner and staff are friendly and kind. Great pool!

Tacky unfriendly & incompetent place with nice garden”
Negative #1. We booked room type A for one night and room type B for the two following nights to due availability. We got a message saying that we need to confirm our booking which I did. They responded that I only had one night. I sent a screenshot to verify that I booked 3 nights but didn't get any feedback anymore. As it turned out, we didn't get what we booked (but only room type B) #2. The staff wanted to show us the room and walked first 3 times into the wrong rooms (which were occupied and in one room the couple seemed "busy"). I felt sorry for the ppl in these roles. #3. We got the wrong change (not uncommon in the Philippines) but it took a 10 minute discussion to get the right amount of money back #4. They asked for a 2000 php deposit since one MIGHT drink or eat there. I didn't notice that in their discription and never had that before at a hotel # I could continue but you get the idea Positiv Nice Garden, tasty breakfast. Quiet. Hammocks available

Our stay at Kokosnuss was a succession of troubles and inconveniences. It started with the receptionist informing us that our reservation was cancelled and the only possible option was to be moved to a hotel 5 times cheaper. After lenghty and wearysome complaints with the general manager and the owner were graciously allowed to stay in the room we paid for. The said room was a large bungalow of relative comfort as the bed consists of a thin mattress on a bamboo frame. This later was infested with BEDBUGS. In addition, RATS left feces on our luggage on a daily basis. The roofs was leaking hence leaving puddles of water on rainy days. The fan was only working on maximum speed, the AC was very loud and ineffective. When the pest infestation was brought to the attention of the management the only solution offered was ta loose our 300$ paid fee and move to another hotel. By shn way: Your money for your reservation was not yet even paid to us. Following is statement of my hurt employees: Yes, Sir Bergot, we(staff) made a mistake, but tried to repair it and help you it ended up in a SCANDALOUS SHOUTING OF YOU that leads to miscommunication and frustrations. Amidst difficult situation, luckily, other guests understand us and choose to go out and give you their room so you can stay there. Yet, you still insested a lot of demands in which became difficult for us (staff), which of your many requests we do first. All our staff were scared on your shouting and misbehavi
