Good enough”
the place is accessible to the bentham market. the staff are good. the room is very clean, although the floor makes a lot of noise everytime you take a step since it is made of wood. overall, its an excellent place to stay at in ho chi minh city. it is also surrounded by a lot of travel agencies. a lot of restaurants and food stalls in the area. the moment you step out from the hostel,you can have easy access to everything.

This hostel comes in at great value for money, particularly when you take into consideration its location. Koniko Backpackers Hostel is near the centre of Saigon; in the backpackers area and close to some of the main drinking spots. A fairly generous breakfast was also offered which was included in the price. I would recommend it to anyone.

Nice Hotel and Friendly Staff ”
I love Koniko! It was worth all the penny staying in the hostel. The hostel is pretty new and clean. The bedsheet and toilet are clean. :-) It is in the backpackers area so it's conveniently located to food shops and establishments. The staff are very helpful too when I ask help for the vietnamese translation of my tattoo! Also help me booked my cab going to the airport. I will definitely come back and stay there again next time I am in HCMC!

I enjoyed my stay at Koniko. The people were really lovely and, if you want to be slap bang in the middle of the nightlife, there's nowhere better. If I stay in HCMC, I might go for District 3 instead, purely because there's a great deal of bag snatching going in around the backpacker area, so it's best to avoid taking a bag. It is noisy, but I knew it would be, and it was nothing some earplugs couldn't sort out. If you want to party, it's great, but otherwise, probably better to find a different base. The hotel itself was very good value for money and the room was really spacious.

Friendly hotel on in PNL busy area”
Right next to busy Bui Vien Street with many street bars with plastic chairs. Very convenient to walk around Ho Chi Minh city. Be warned music next door is often very loud to early hours of morning- bring your ear plugs. Good choice if you want to see Saigon nightlife.

koniko is a nice place”
Koniko has big, clean and very nice rooms with fast wifi. It's in the heart of district 1, location is good for amenities like streetfood/restaurants, shopping and some sights at walking distance. It's also on the busiest street, so it's not the most quiet of places. We enjoyed our stay here and would return.

4 Nights Stay At Koniko Backerpackers Hostel”
My Mixed Dormitory is located at the 5th Floors.Morning Breakfast is served at the 6th Floors every morning at 8;00 am to 10;00 am.There are 2 Shared Bathrooms inside the Mixed Dormitory. There is no Lift from groundfloor to the 6th Floors at the Rooftop.The Mixed Dorm room is equipped with Reading Lamps at each bed & Lockers & Air-Con.Anywhere, it`s a good hostel.The Lady Boss is very Kind,Helpful,Humble& Sincere.I will stay there again if I ever come back to Ho Chih Minh City.

Good location at Bui Vien Street”
Staying for 4 nights in Koniko and met a great few of friends from UK, Germany, Thailand, and Korea in the dorm. Easy to reach in Bui Vien Street and I think it's the central location for travelers gathering rather than the Pham Ngu Lao Street. Sorrounded by restaurants, conv store, and souvenir shop, a good location. The minus points are the bathroom is not so clean, creaking floor and beds so when people just arrived in late night, the creaking sound wake me up sometime. And my personal towel was thrown out by mistake, it's sad. But the friendly staff replace it with Koniko's towel, so in overall a good hostel.

Very good location but not so clean”
I stayed at Koniko for one night only. It's located on Bui Vien street which is surrounded by many restaurants/bars/clubs than those on Pham Ngu Lao street. The amenities and cleanliness are not that impressive, but it's ok if you plan to just have a couple or more hours of sleep after hitting famous club at the corner of this street.

Location, location, location”
The hostel on Bui Vien St is just a stone throw away from US$.30 glasses of draught beer. The bed is pretty decent, and the hot water works just fine. Only real drawback is the creaky floorboards that wake you up everytime someone comes back from a night out, and the alarms set by other people that wake you up when they go off one-by-one in the morning. But that's to be expected in a backpackers hostel. Free morning breakfast is a big plus.

cheap and cheerful ”
I stayed here for about 4 hours in-between a late flight arrival and an early start on a tour the next day. The hostel is clean, breakfast was included and they arranged for a fixed price taxi to pick me up from the airport at 01:30 which was excellent! Only downside is the location, on a busy main street which seemed to party on all night. Fantastic if you like that sort of thing but not really for me.

nice location hotel with really nice staffs”
the loction of hotel was great. it was at the backpackers area close to many bar, restaurant, travel agent, bus pick up station. u can go to benh tanh market and also coop mart on foot from this hotel. the staffs are so nice. some people could speak english, some people didn't. but they tried their best to communicate with us. the room was clean and comfortable, altough sometimes they forgot to take off the trash from the trash bin at the room or toilet. we got once electricity off at the area. but it wasn't really matter since it was late at the night. for breakfast it was a unique experience. they offer us for noodle or bread and it will be served freshly cooked at the top level of the building - their kitchen was there. there's only a low table in the dining room, so we sat in a sitting pillow. just feels like home.

This hostel was so clean and I got a free upgrade to a huge room. They let us check out late and organized airport pick up and drop off. Lady running hostel was so kind and helpful. No common space though if looking to meet people.

Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff, location”
Two nights in HCM city was so comfy with this hotel,very helpful and staff. They helped us carry really heavy luggage and suggest nice tours. The room is clean, small but fully equipped.Breakfast was simple but gud enough: bread, coffee, juice... Quiet at nite, hot shower and AC worked well. Very gud location, close to Ben Thanh market n other central places.

Good lacation and nice room”
The hotel is just located in a crowded street, a lot of bars, so it will be noisy until very late. When you get into the hotel, you need to take off your shoes, you can put your shoes in the first floor or take them to your room, I suggest you take your shoes to your room in case your shoes are missing.

In the heart of Pham Ngu Lao”
Honestly we were impressed by how clean the hostel is. It doesn't have a lift though, so if your bags are heavy and you're in the dorms (all the way on the 6th floor or so), good luck. Not the safest area but if you want to be in the heart of the backpacker's district, this is it.
