Find hotels near Koto in Tokyo, Japan

Located near Toyocho Station. Popular destinations is just a train ride away but at the same time near not-so-touristy establishments. Sunamachi Ginza is just a bus ride and a few minute walk. Koto City is a very much underrated area in Tokyo. You can enjoy both the old and the new. The hotel itself has a nice view of the Skytree, quiet, and relaxing. Sometimes we even ask ourselves if we're the only ones at the hotel. The staff is very much accommodating to all our requests. The cleaners are very much hardworking. Expect a clean room everyday, complementary water and morning tea to start your day. The round trip bus is a plus but taking the train is quite easy. Even much faster. You can catch the shuttle to the nearest station in the morning but you can always take the bus to the station if you're carrying lots of luggage. After check out, we left our luggages with them and even offered to refrigerate the pudding in our thermal bag. Definitely coming back here on our next trip!

Booked a Family Room/Quad Room for me, my husband, my father-in law (senior citizen), and sister-in-law. Pros - near Morishita station, close to many restaurants and convenience stores, kind staff, clean room, nice facilities, budget friendly rates, plus we had our own bathroom, TV, and fridge. Interiors were crisp and clean, room was well-lit and thoughtfully designed albeit the space constraints. Enjoyed the view at the 10th floor, and enjoyed hanging out and eating at the balcony and eating area at the 3rd floor. I love the balcony--it's a nice touch! Comfy beds and pillows and nice cozy blanket. Cons - I could say that the room or bathroom could be bigger, but for the price I paid, I don't think I could ask for more. I already got great value for money and best use of space considering we were in Tokyo. We already felt lucky enough to have found this gem. Would definitely stay here again when we visit Tokyo. I highly recommend staying here!

The hotel room we got was small, but that was in the description of "Small double bed room", and we hadn't packed too heavily so it wasn't a big deal. The room was comfortable, facilities and location were good, and staff were helpful. APA's CEO is an ultra-nationalist right-wing guy who has been running an essay competition for the last few years. If you're lucky, you'll have two year's worth of essays published in a book in your room, like we did. If nothing else, it was very interesting from a sociological point of view to read the Japanese ultra right-wing perspective of WWII and the American influence. However, if you are uncomfortable with this, it's best to be aware beforehand. Other than it feeling a bit surreal to flip through this alternate history of Japan, the stay in the hotel was good. The hotel is very close to the Shiomi-Ekimae train station, which is only accessible by the local train, so be careful not to catch an express train all the way if you are travelling there. We were attending an exhibition at Makuhari Messe, and it was easy to catch a train to get us there. If you were going to Disneyland, it would probably be a good option that wouldn't have you paying an absolute fortune, even if it means a bit of travelling.

At first, we find it difficult to look for this hotel, but after we found it, we think it is actually not difficult to find. It was because we were just landed in Japan and still blind to everything in Japan including directions. Having googlemaps in hand is really a life saver if you travel Japan for the first time. The room is small, but the bed is big enough for me, my big belly and my husband. With a good working aircon, TV (unfortunately no cable TV, only Japan channel available) and a cupboard to store our clothes, I think this is the best small but complete room I ever stays. Inside the cupboard under the TV, they provide us with spoon, plate, pan to cook something, and other necessities if you want to cook. Outside the bed door but still inside the room, there is a big enough sink to wash our things, and under the sink, there are refrigerator, majic jar, electric stove,and a kettle. I was amaze on how complete this small room is. Did I forget to mention that they also provide microwave? The bathroom, I never imagined that the room this small can have a big enough bath tub for an adult. Hot water was also running very smoothly during our stay there. A wastafel and big mirror complete the room as well. A well equipped Japanese toilet with sprayer, bidet and warmer also complete the room. Overall, I really enjoy our stays at this hotel. I will look for no other hotel if we visit Tokyo in next adventure.

brilliant place to stay, hotel is quality. the room is spacious even for a single, and the table with table lamp ample to type on...the seating quality is poor though...the fridge fantastic, apa really have a good service going, and the daily yukata and amenities is great, the only con is the bed alarm is spoilt (the radio was great), and so there is literally an old school alarm clock there. the rest of the room is great for a business traveller just in for a seminar/deal, and you can hang all your suits, etc, and the internet cat5e cable is good enough. no bbc or cnn or cnbc,you have to pay for cable but that tends to be done by only the japanese locals or the losers who want to watch the adult channel and pay (by note or cash i believe) into some white box on each floor. that said, the hotel is a short walk from nishi ojima and sumiyoshi, and the streets have some decent food, so if you like me come back from work in otemachi/marunouchi, it is not too bad or far away, though i must say, east tokyo is the most deserted of all the places i've stayed in tokyo...great for people big on somehting quieter...feels like a more residential homely area of tokyo for sure...lots of poor old people (ageing population) around to be kind to i guess if you're into kindness...

we had a good stay in this hotel, we were there for 7 days,its not luxourious but honestly it is perfect if you are going sightseeing everyday, we also stayed in a hotel in nishi oi ( chisun hotel shinagawa) which was nicer but situated far from the jr station, where as the weekly kameido was 5 mins walk from the station and just beside a "tesco"! the prices are not the same as tesco in ireland that i assure you but its so handy to be able to find food that you recognise. we are in tokyo 3 weeks and if you are going to buy rice theirs was the cheapest at 660yen for 2kg when all the other places we have been are 600 for 1kg. we moved around tokyo, we took 3 hotels in 3 weeks (kameido,shinagawa and shinjuku ) and kameido was situated in the best place and by far the cheapest.

My boyfriend and I stayed here as teenage travellers celebrating the end of high school. As you can guess that means budget budget budget...we booked Kiba hotel for 7 nights with the expectation that we’d be sacrificing comfort for price, but we ended up loving it more than some more pricey experiences. The staff are very friendly, giving you fresh towels, pyjamas and free bottles of water after each trip out (which you’ll find necessary if you trek around Tokyo as much as we did). At first we found the facilities difficult as they are located on different floors, however we figured out how to be more efficient and ended up appreciating the spa day-like showers (each one has bottles of hair product, toothbrushes, and many facial/body cleansers - which comes in handy in winter with terribly dry skin). It also has a very safe and secure environment which I was worried about initially as the capsules are simply covered by a curtain, the luggage is in an open area (although monitored by staff) and the showers are open. However, we found that it is the perfect opportunity to talk to foreigners and get to know other people! As someone who is very picky and used to travelling to 5-star hotels with my family, I can highly recommend this place and would like to rebut comments saying that it’s uncomfortable or ugly. There is a lot more good I could say about it and there’s no regrets in booking the capsule for a 7-night stay!

We could not take another night in the capsule hotel (USD45) so at USD54 on Agoda the upgrade was a steal. The APA Hotel Tokyo-Kiba was a 6 minutes walk from the Tokyo Kiba Hotel (capsules) at the other end of the Kiba Station. Our space went from 2 m2 to 11 m2 with our own ensuite toilet, big screen tv, fridge, desk, and comfy bed. The receptionist at the service counter was exceptional. We got room 623 which had no window but it felt 100 times better than a capsule at only USD10 more. (We later found out the normal rate was twice what we paid for and was available one night only). There was a convenience store right across the street from the hotel where we bought some groceries. I will definitely come here again.

Spent 2 nights in Tokyo Day nice hotel for business trip. The location is good for me. Not in the crowded central area but convenient to everywhere. 3mins walk to the nearest JR station Kiba. The hotel provides meals in a friendly price. Also the price of rooms also suitable. But it’s a normal phenomenon in Japan that is the small space in room. For 1 person is okay. The hotel have English & chinese speaking staffs. There was a problem of sound isolation. One day it was little bit noisy in the morning cause someone was speak loudly at the corridor. Above all, it’s a not bad place for travelers and business men.

i booked for 1 person but i received a room that was normally for 2 people. lucky! my room was very spacious, clean and modern. cleaning is only available if you stay more than 7 nights, otherwise they charge for the service. because it is some distance away from metropolitan tokyo, you may need to add an extra 20-30 min for some of your trips. if you do stop at higashiojima station, make sure you take the ojima exit. this is only a 5 min walk to the hotel. the other exit can take 10-15 min. you will be living in suburbia tokyo. you can buy food cheaply from the nearby supermarket daiei.

When a hotel in Japan includes a free breakfast you usually expect some hard boiled eggs, a few pieces of bread with a toaster oven and unlimited coffee. This hotel's breakfast really blew me away! They offer from 7-9 am a buffet with orange juice, coffee, tea and the usual bread to warm in a mini oven but the buffet also includes japanese items such as rice omelettes, fish, meatballs, steamed vegetables, pickled plums and lots of boiled bacon. The rice was too sticky and mushy but the rest of the food was quite good. Location is just a block away from the Toyocho subway station, about 30 minutes from Tsukiji market if you wish to head there by 5:30 am and also close to Tokyo station. Rather cheap for the location but the room was very hot even with the strange AC fan turned max. I can't imagine how hot it gets in the summer. Bathroom is uber cramped I opted against using the tiny tub. If it's a place to crash and some free grub the hotel is still a good deal.

The hotel was at a confortable location not very far from the Kikukawa subway station. Only 20 minutes from Ginza by subway. There was a 7eleven store nearby. All together the location was perfect. The room was small, but it's Tokyo so I didn't expect too much. It was clean, neat. The bathroom was good enough. All together this hotel is recommended! The staff doesn't speak good Engligh, but they could manage everything for me!
