Location is so good. Facility is little bit old, but this is definitely one of the best hotel to stay in Kurashiki.

Great Location, need to improve cleaniness”
Check in is on Level 5. If u cant read Japanese, it is not easy to find entrance. Rooms are adequate, but needs cleaning. the TV stand was horribly dusty. i had a problem with hot water initially, but it was miraculously solved the next morning. staffs are amazing.

The hotel is quite old. It is mainly for local travellers (not international travellers). Only a few staff can speak English. No English name or signs outside the hotel which make us who knows no Japanese to find. The location is good which is quite close to the railway station. The reception is on 5th floor. Their air conditioning system is quite old. The staff are very nice but can’t speak English.

Convenient Location”
This Hotel is on the main street and it's about a 5 min walk from JR Kurashiki Station. It can be a little tricky finding the lobby. There are instructions that tell you it's on the 5th floor of the Hotel's building but it's written in Japanese. The Hotel is fairly close to the Bikan Historic Area. It will take 10-15 min along the main road or the shopping street. I was satisfied with my room - it was clean, tidy and comfortable.

Great Little Town”
The hotel is about a 6-7 minute walk from the Kurashiki Station. You'll have to negotiate some stairs at the station but this place is definitely good value. The historic quarter is about 5mins by foot and it's something you have to see especially during cherry blossom season. No problems with Internet in your room and Okayama and Shikoku close by are great day trips.

Much bigger than hotels in himeji, not so easy to find for the lack of English name, you have to ask a Japanese to help you find it.

Low grade business hotel”
Very small room in bad condition (torn bed frame) but clean. Convenient for those who travel by train as very close to the JR station but no parking attached to the hotel. As we stay over during the Golden Week, extremely over priced. (3 times the standard price).

Location was great, it was very near with station and also not complicated to find out. Room size was big enough for one person but no view. It seem like an apartment rather than hotel. Bed was too much soft & smell not fresh. There was one Japanese girl was very poor service, she could not spoke English, her face expression was not friendly and ignor once i asked some information. WIFI was great in room.

Hotel force us to book two rooms when it is not needed”
Air condition did not work, we had to open the windows. City noise was loud (especially motorcycle). When we booked the room through the website. It forces us to book two rooms for 3 people, when we checked in, the one room was large enough to accommodate 3 people, which the hotel staff should have refund us the second room which we did not use. Instead, hotel staff did not refund us the money. We felt cheated.

This hotel is quite old and the lighting is dark, especially in the toilet which I think need to improve. However, the location is good, close to outlets and tour view. Bed is very large and room is spacious. Cleanliness is normal
