Great customer service, good quality breakfast at the restaurant in the morning, and available from 06:30 for the early birds. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from Shizuoka railway station, extremely convenient. Lots of restaurants and department stores for shopping. If you fancy a hot spa, they have a public one available. Highly recommend.

Check in staff at the counter was really good and helpful, very friendly. But there was one Japanese staff in the restaurant he was really rude but I think the front desk people did such a great job I would still give 5 stars for staff overall.

Good location and excellent breakfast. Both western and Japanese, but the Japanese was the best in my view with excellent ingredients and good rice. Coffee machine was also very good.

I paid for a triple bed room but was given a room with only 2 beds. I did not bother to speak with the reception staff as they could not speak much English. On the positive side, the hotel room is clean and location is about 5 mins walk to train station, rather convenient.

Decent stay”
Room was big and everything was clean. Not super modern but it did the job for a quick night over. Restaurant is actually Vietnamese and staff were really nice. Liked the pho for the breakfast buffet!

Reasonable pricing hotel with a very good location”
The hotel was at the center of Shizuoka, around a kilometer (walkable) from the Shizuoka station. The staffs were proficient in English just “enough” to communicate. The rooms were a little bit old, yet they were pretty much clean and tidy. The facility was very good: they had an onsen which opened until 23.00 and reopened again in the morning. Breakfast meal(s) was also provided.

Nice hotel”
Staffs are so kind and helpful. The location is perfect to stay in Shizuoka for shopping and good restaurants. It takes 3~5min. to the station by walk. Parking space is limited but eady to use. They charge 1200 yen per day. Breakfast is a Japanese style but not too bad camparing with ordinary Japanese hotel. I would say it is a quiet resonable hotel in Shizuoka.

Very conveniently located near Shizuoka station. Very helpful staff albeit that not much English is spoken by the reception The hotel caters mainly to Japanese customers so I was a rarity but despite the lack of English I would be being picky to fault the staff in any other aspect so all in all I cannot grumble and it was a nice hotel and a nice room.

We arrived at 6:00pm, just in time for the happy hours in there cafeteria. free round of drinks and some nuts. the room has Tea and water heater in room, but if you like coffee.. you can get it directly from the lobby, they have a coffee maker that you can access up to 11pm, all other small items you can get from the lobby, like shaver, toothbrush... etc. breakfast food choice is not so fantastic but good enough for breakfast, the room we got has large bed enough for 3 people to squeeze in.. although we have 2 rooms for 2 adults and 2 young kids. shizuoka station is just in front of the hotel,. 5 mins walk

Excellent Value”
I was already pretty satisfied to book a room for one under $80 USD per day including breakfast. The location is excellent, it's within a 5-min walking distance to the JR station AND the local rail station. There is a convenience store a block away and a 24-hour drug store connected to a FamilyMart also about 5-min away. The hotel itself is quite old, but it is clean and fairly large in Japan standards especially if you compare it to the Tokyo or Osaka hotels. The room comes with the basic necessities such as WiFi and mini-fridge. The one thing I wasn't too happy was the cigarette smell in my room even though I booked a non-smoking room. Bonus points having a bath-house located on the 1st floor, it sure beats showering in your own room. The breakfast is buffet style and is quite pleasant, I loved the soup-boiled noodles. Staff was alright, not rude but not especially friendly. Overall, with the price I paid for, I really can't complain. Will come back again.

Business hotel”
It was a short transit as we wanted to see Mount Fuji from various places (Hakone, Fuijzakura Festival...). It is a business hotel, but I do note they are also trying to attract some tourist stayers. As you can expect from most hotels in Japan, they are compact with minimalist walking spaces. Overall, pleasant but very compact, and near the city centre of Shizuoka. A 5-10 minute walk will lead you to shopping malls, food and the train stations.

Great place. Also try their buffet lunch, was 1,000 JY & was real good value. I normally don't write a review, but this hotel was really good. Well done to this hotel.
