            Perfect location, friendly owners, amazing hot spring ”

            The owners are extremely friendly. They have collected a ton of items throughout their travels so the ryokan itself is a mini museum. Clean accommodations. The location is great. about a 3-4min walk from the central yubatake springs. Only downside is the steep Hill you have to climb to get to it. The hot springs water was the best part. One of the stronger baths we experienced during our travel there. As such you can only dip in the bath for 3-5mins, 4 times a day. Extremely soothing. Has a private bath for couples or individuals. No reservation required. The owners can accommodate most requests as long as you ask. Highly recommended for a traditional ryokan experience with amazing baths

            Excellent value for money”

            Thanks to the lovely and welcoming host, it really felt like staying in the host's own house, full of history and objects he collected through years and years of travels. Overall while this feels more like staying in an "inn" / at someones house than in a 5* hotel, this was a really great experience for us as it came at a very good price, the room was clean and had all we needed, and the host was lovely, showing us around his house and discussing with us about the place and surrounding's history. It was really charming and is definitely a great option if you prefer an authentic (yet comfortable) experience to a more expensive high end luxury hotel.

            温泉最高でした！でも坂は辛い…！(笑)”

            GW真っ只中で素泊まりさせていただきました。 今回は女子3人で草津温泉旅でした。 湯畑から徒歩5分ほどの坂の上にある旅館です。 登りが辛い…！(笑) お部屋は和室。3F建ての旅館です。 3Fまでは階段。ちょっと辛いけど良い運動になります。 お風呂は温泉で3つの温度がある内湯と小さな露天風呂。景色は何もないけど温泉に入れて満足です！ お部屋にお風呂は無かったのですが24時間お風呂に入れるので不自由はありません。 ただお部屋にドライヤーは常備されてない(フロントで貸し出しタイプ)ので困る人は持っていってくださいね！ 従業員の方と関わる機会はチェックイン、チェックアウトの時のみだったのですが印象は良かったです。鍵はキーボックスがあるので遊びに行って夜遅く帰ってきても大丈夫！入り口もセキュリティしっかりしてるので安心ですよ。 1Fにはビールも販売してる自販機ありました。 喫煙ルームも入り口となりにあるので喫煙者でも安心！ 温泉がすごく良かったのでまた機会があればお世話利なりたいと思いました！ お値段も繁忙期でも１人12,000円しないくらいなのでありだと思います😊
