Exceptional”
Ryokan Yoshinoya was delightful from the moment we arrived. The staff went out of their way to assist and the facilities and accomodation was first class. The ryokan was positioned perfectly within a 30 sec walk to the centre of town and a few minutes to numerous onsens. Would highly recommend!!

Clean boutique ryokan”
Very close to Yunatake, free parking (off site), very basic free breakfast, property and room was clean. Onsen on-site (small one), coin-operated laundry machine in premises. If you don’t have enough cash to go around places, they can exchange cash to you with a nominal service fee. No in-house restaurant. Only drawback: you had to drag your luggage upstairs to reach your room.

Superbe location and super helpful, friendly staff. They provided map and restaurants info even before we checked in (just drop our bags as it’s before the official checkin time). Good value for money.

Very Traditional Japanese Ryokan”
Staffs gave us warm welcome during our stay. Kusatsu is really a place worth of staying, the onsen is natural and nice. But due to ryokan is traditional Japanese style, sound isolation is poor and you could hear any sounds from neighborhood.

Nice room”
Love the room but the shower room is shared. They have a public onsen bath too but its alittle small. The location was great, its a couple of mins walk from the central bus station and less than 10mins walk to the famous Yubatake Onsen. Overall i had a nice stay and would recommend this hotel.

Exceptional”
GREAT HOTEL. Clean and comfortable. Close to the center of the city and walkable distance to all great onsens. The rooms were well thought out and the amenities were all there. The AC can be a little hard to figure out at first, but once you get it going all is good. The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was good too. Not much of a selection but enough to keep you full to the next meal.

Perfect stay”
Strategic location, there's a cute and helpful lady staff who will happy to show you how to explore this lovely city, a short walk from train station, and Yubatake,surrounded with many splendid restaurants and cafe. room size is superb and shared onsen bath is very relaxing, alternative light breakfast with Japanese rice are rewarded and there are coffee/tea and some snacks for free all day, It was my memorable staying experience with such a calmly and peaceful there, would definitely go back !!
