Great hotel, great location!”
Baler is one of the most beautiful places in the Philippines. With long sandy beaches, lush jungle covered mountains, waterfalls and some of the best and most accessible surfing in the country, Baler is surprisingly undiscovered. Sabang beach is the most popular beach in the area and can be crowded on the weekends with the few hotels full and very expensive. A much better alternative lies on the other beaches in the area which are both prettier, less crowded and more unique. L’sirene is in an idyllic location on a long, lonely stretch of beach with no other hotels or even any other buildings nearly as far as you can see. It is postcard beautiful and features great breaks for surfing and shady trees and breezy afternoons on the berm of the beach. There is also a nice pool for relaxation after surfing or just cooling off for non surfers. The hotel is well maintained. The food is good and the staff there is friendly, helpful and super accommodating. For example, I had to cancel my last reservations because I couldn’t get there due to the Covid lock down. And hotel management cheerfully canceled the reservation and gave me a full refund. They have always been very helpful on all my visits; giving me rides into town, arranging transport such as the express bus back to Manila. I have stayed in a lot of hotels on my numerous trips to Baler and L’Sirene is by far the nicest and the best value. It’s location and staff make it a must stay if you visit Baler. I highly recommend L’Sirene!

• Room (Super Deluxe) 10/10. Spacious for 4 pax. Fresh and cozy interior. Clean toilet and bath with included body wash, shampoo and conditioner in a dispenser. • Amenities 8/10. Clean shower areas but pool needs cleaning especially near the beach. Restaurant is cozy but the prices are too high (ranges from 200-400+ pesos for a normal breakfast meal that you can eat in any food stalls/restaurant) • Staff 10/10. All of the staff are friendly. From front desk to service crews :) • Other comment/s Overall look of the hotel is beautiful. Landscape and outdoor lighting can be improved too ;)

All in one resort in Baler”
L Sirene has its own pool - just perfect for a relaxing dip and few steps to the beach! We were not lucky enough to stay with a good weather but the beach itself provides privacy as it does not have neighboring resort. Just be careful with the waves. Food at Hngry Mrmd is value for money too. Just inside the resort itself. If you want to try other food or restau, you will have to travel to the city center. Rooms - clean and spacious, enough for 4 pax. Fully airconditioned with wifi access Definitely a good place to stay when you are in Baler!

It is quiet at night, perfect if you want to have a good night's sleep or chat with family. We had a bonfire at the beachfront after we had our dinner. If you are with family members composed of seniors and young children you've found the right place. They have their own restaurant also so no need to worry about where to eat. Be careful not to misplace or break any linens and glassware in the room so you won't be charged extra for incidentals.

You get value for your money. Nice,clean,tranquil place. Clean beach with no fishing boats around. You'll enjoy your privacy. Their whole menu is delectable. Try their chocolate shake. Staff are very friendly and attentive to guests. Kudos to Sam Pinto and staff. Really enjoyed our stay. Many thanks.

Pros: -isolated you tend to get the island vibe -A+ for the staff. Not only do you feel welcomed every time, it also feels like our second home. -we love the bed..great choice on linens/sheets due to high thread count Cons: -some drivers tend to ask for an additional pay due to its location - hope in the near future shuttle would be provided with schedules of pick up and drop off

The staff are the friendliest and most helpful in everything we need. The food selection is not as big as other hotels but definitely worth the price. Surfing was amazing too since they don't have a lot of people staying nearby like in Sabang. Will definitely go back.

Travelling with family”
One of the best resort in Baler. The staff are accommodating and the resort is very private. It only has 15 rooms so expect that it is not crowded. What I also love in this place is that the pool is just infront of your rooms. Highly recommended to travellers with young kids.

Perfect place to vacation in during the pandemic”
The resort is secluded from the main beach area (Sabang) so there is definitely less people. Only 15 rooms available. We luckily didn't have any neighbors directly beside our room so there was good social distancing. The rooms are good. Toilet and bath are separate which is a big thumbs up. My only suggestion is to add more shelving. The restaurant pricing is your typical Manila restaurant (Locavore, Sentro 1771, etc). The food is good enough though. My only complain is the availability in their menu as we failed to try some dishes we wanted. Their mango and strawberry shakes were awesome! The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Everything was explained thoroughly upon check in. They also made sure that I had all requirements necessary for travel days before we went there.

Place was great. It’s a bit far from the tourist spot Sabang, however if you’d want a more secluded area, this would be a good choice. Room was big and clean. Food was great as well. It was a very relaxing stay.

Perfect for Family Getaways!”
2 pools (1 infront of the room and 1 near the beach) were very well maintained. However, the beach front was a bit not maintained as we have to walk through tree branches, plastic of chips and used bottles before we reach the sea. The surfing lessons were okay as well but a bit pricey. The food is good but if you want to try other restaurants, it is 15-20 minutes away from the resort. We were asked to check out our 3 rooms at 11am because of the wedding that day. They only allowed to extend 1 room until 12nn (we were 12persons at that time). They said the arriving guests need to check-in earlier. With that, we felt like we were least important. As much as we would love to rest for an hour more (because of the muscle pains from the surfing lessons), we had to leave early. They gave me a loyalty card to compensate my request that they cannot grant. Overall, it was okay! I'd suggest to ask the property for any events before booking to avoid the hassle of checking out early! :)
