Bad experience in Key West”
Despite a great location at Duval St, in downtown Key West and the front desk staff very welcoming, the room at the hotel have a big ventilation problem. The room smelled of damp and mildew. Water was accumulating in the bathroom, which was not ventilated at all. We couldn't open the bedroom window. The room carpet was humid all time. I cannot recommend this hotel.

The pool is very small. Location is excellent. It is little over price for the hotel of 4 stars. Some of fine finish in the bathroom is not there. There is no ice machine on any floor.

Extremely noisy if you are on Duval Street”
I would not recommend a suite on the second floor overlooking Duval St .or any room within 5 floors up or less. This hotel rents to young people that party all night, screaming, arguing, and drinking on the second floor balcony's....without consideration of their neighbors trying to sleep. the couch was dirty and worn out, No daily room service. Our trash cans were full and overflowing after four days, three nights, no towels were changed out , no coffee refills, had to ask for each, , and ended up with a 4 day pile of towels in the corner of the bathroom. Very disappointed for a Crown Plaza property. Had to stay in a Motel Eight once that I would consider 5 star in comparison to this place. Had to wait 4 hours for them to clean the room when my check in time was 1pm. Staff was great no problem there, special thanks to Zena, front desk,(she was great!) but our experience there was terrible compared to last time there 10 yrs ago. From 5+ stars to maybe a 2 star rating. We travel alot, and I dont like leaving a negative review ever, but please be advised.

I feel that they revamped the lobby and made it look really nice. However, the rooms seemed like they slapped on paint and layed carpet. I feel the room is over priced for what we received.

Disappointed because the manager didn’t respond to my problem like they said they would. ”
My room was the only room in the hotel that had a broken air conditioning all weekend and all they did was give me a fan because nothing else was available. I was told the manager would call me on Monday about comping the room but never heard from him. And I callled and left a message and still nothing. As much money as I spent there I would expect a little better service considering the group I was with had 9 rooms there for the weekend.

Very small uncomfortable room/bathroom. Dirty furniture. No housekeeping done in our room. Bathroom door let large amounts of water out into bathroom floor every shower. Dirty, smelly elevator. Very disappointed in this Crowne Plaza, felt more like a Quinta Inn. Only plus here is the location because service was plain average. For two nights $450 during September, Fri & Sat, not worth it. Going to Casa Marina next time.

When we arrived we were advised of a $43 "destination fee" per night, not sure what that fee was for. Staying 7 night and room had 1 set of towels (1 person) & 1 roll of TP. Called front desk and they provided more. I will add that Raquel was professional and tried to appease as best she was allowed. Unpacked, went to shower & the bathroom was NOT cleaned AT ALL. Hair on floor, in shower, sink....disgusting. Especially during COVID. The front desk offered another room (just unpacked, don't want to do it again) or can send someone now to clean it (after 4 pm). They ended up cleaning the bathroom while we were out to dinner. Miner but, 1 cup coffee pot and no microwave? We were trying to do a 5 star vacation and unfortunately the hotel was not up to par.

I booked this hotel mostly for its location. I was happy with that of course. I was just not happy with the hotel itself. The rooms were not as clean as it should have been for our stay during a pandemic. There was still hair in the shower and sink in the bathroom. Not once was our room cleaned while we were there. The staff were not properly wearing their masks and hardly any of the hand sanitizer stations were filled. The front desk staff were very cold and neglected to tell me about any additional charges that were to be put on my card during my stay, EVEN when I asked about additional charges at check in. I was charged a $150 incidental fee at check in (which should supposedly come off 5-7 business days after I have checked out) but I was handed my receipt to find that I will not be getting back the $150 total as I was told. I will be getting back $130 as I was charged for a service and accommodation fee. I honestly was made to feel as if we had spent more money and gotten a fancier room our stay would have been better.

I stayed at La Concha for my honeymoon just last week. There is so much that happened that I can’t fit it into 1000 characters but I will try. 1- The staff (front desk, bellhop, engineer, bartender, servers) all were EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. If you think (ahh well, I’ll just avoid them and enjoy my stay) good luck. You need to request ice from the front desk because there are no ice machines. Also you will need to request extra towels to sop up your flooded bathroom because the showers leak. I requested 3 times to have it looked at and fixed. 2. The bellhop(all 4 of them) will just stare at you. All day, everyday. I stayed there for 7 nights and never got a ‘welcome, hi, good morning) but when I asked for a cart to lug in my own luggage, he pointed at the carts and demanded that I bring it back where I found it. 3. At one time we went in the elevator and all the lights shut off. So we took the stairs. It took me 4 ppl at the front desk before someone helped me.DONT BOOK

The motel is in a great location, the beds are good. The roof top bar and balcony is a great view of the town and for the sunset. Lots of great seafood places to eat on the water. Loved Key West. Great vibe to the palce, good shopping.

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff”
The Hotel had a very new looking lobby but the rooms were definitely in the older part of the hotel. The room seemed very cramped so there was not much room for our suitcases. But all in all the room was clean and tidy. Also there is free internet in each room and the bed was very comfortable.
