Very very friendly and helpful staff, Kevin and Gorlane. Great breakfast. Even it's not located at the centre of town, you can go around with tricycle with only 10 peso. Free usage of kitchen is a plus! And they are so kind to let me check out late as my flight is at 650 pm.

NICE BUT FAR FROM THE CITY CENTER”
It's on the other side of the Rizal Boulevard. It was my 1st time in Dumaguete but found it really boring so I went home the next day. People are friendly though. This is place is perfect except that it's far from the city center where 24 hour- Food shops are located. If you feel hungry at dawn, you can hardly find a decent meal. Lesson learned, do not go to Dumaguete if you don't have a driver's license to rent a scooter. Otherwise, your time will be wasted to wander to the nice places around the city. Commuting is time-consuming. To be fair with the hostel staff, they're friendly and professional. The ambiance is also nice. It has its own resto with Acoustic night. Even though it's transient, it felt private as the bed space was large enough to accommodate me and my stuff, plus the calm neighborhood.

Quiet place in dumaguete ”
Stayed in double room with a/c and bathroom and later double room with fan no bathroom. Rooms were basic, clean, average bed. This is not a resort! Feels like a hostel or guest house. They have a big common area with sofa and dining table, large kitchen with everything you'll need to cook and a big garden with many plants. Quiet area and homey feel in the house.

Not Well Maintained”
It's okay if you'll just need a place to stay for a night. The facilities are old and my room still has paint fumes but I didn't mind because I was too tired from my travels. They should have improve their garden anyways.

Expectation VS Reality”
Our first night was horrible. We’re booked for 2 nights. The room left for us is arranged with two single beds. What’s the purpose of reservation then? No problem since we can just move the bed together but the problem is, they are not of the same height and the space is not enough it will block the door. Well, I guess it’s ok. We just dont want to ruin our hard earned vacation. To our surprise, you can hear people staying in both sides of your room. It’s loud and clear. It’s like the rooms are just separated with thin plywood. You can really hear them. The next day, we booked another hotel and never took the second night in La Fusion. It was just an horrible experience, we weren’t able to sleep properly. The place doesn’t look the same as the posting. It’s not well maintained. The place is literally a house converted to a hostel.

Arrived to be shown to our bungalow that would be more suited on the beach. Many bugs inside room. Room very empty. Thin walls so you can hear your neighbours also No green lawn as shown on pics. Empty baron block of land lol It was an experience compared to what we thought we were getting Got woke up also at 7am to a whipper snipper running outside our room like it was almost inside the room being a bamboo bungalow.

Booked for Jan 1st, new years day. tried to contact management after stopping at their facility on the 30th. Maintenence staff only, no reception, no management. On Jan 1st, their front gate was locked and no one answered the bell on the gate. Glad i paid thru Paypal, as i plan to pursue restitution. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY

Best Choice in Dumaguete!!!!!!!!”
really a good place to relaxed, peace n quiet, not far from the wharf, n easy to take the trycicle. the food is very delicious, u should try it. the staffs r friendly, they r very accommodating and sincere in their service, so do the host, if u have any question just ask them n they will give u the best suggestion . if u plan to go to dumaguete u had to stay at La fusion n u won't be disappointed .

Came to Dumaguete one night ahead of my reservation at Gabby's Bed & Breakfast, and got a bed in a 3-bed dorm. I enjoyed the design of the palce and the back patio was a nice gathering spot. The room has air conditioning, and its own toilet/shower in an adjacent room. WiFi is decent, and there's a shared kitchen. The food from the restaurant looked good, but I didn't get a chance to try it. It's only 8 or 9 pesos to take a trike to the waterfront and downtown, but it's far enough away that you won't smell or hear all the traffic. On the downside, there are no lockers, and the three of us in the room had to share a single key (which we left at the desk on heading out), so you'll have to just trust your fellow travelers if you stay in a dorm.
